Review brief: Description This is a comedy feature by Jonathan Morgan. Hercules sets out to perform 12 feats, while the goddess Hera puts obstacles in his path. Yes, condoms are used, usually discreetly. General Impression Wow! We would have been happy to have this movie run longer. It's not just the sex carrying the movie, but the plot and acting were highly entertaining. I was surprised by the quality of Space Nuts, and here again, I have to refer to some of the stars as actors, not just performers. Mike Horner is squirmy fun as the pompous narrator. Julia Ann nails it as the sarcastic, bitterly funny, scheming Hera. Evan once again steps up to the plate, and manages this time to play a moronic, oblivious Hercules with Randy Spears as his whining and cowardly sidekick Perseus. Sex Scenes Hera (Julia Ann) meets Ian, a supplicant at one of her temples. She doesn't want to hear his hilarious little sob story about a starving family, she wants action. He gives it to her -- in mish, reverse cowgirl, and doggie.

General Impression I have several times heard the advice given to porn fans not to visit a porn set if they want to continue to enjoy porn. It has been said that, "you don't want to see ketchup being made." Near the end of this documentary, Bjorn discusses that idea with some of the performers - "Not everyone wants to see how it's made." "They want the fantasy, right?" "It ruins the fantasy, but it's good for those who want to know." Before seeing this documentary, you can decide for yourself how curious you are. This movie does provide just about everything you'd want to know about the making of porn.

Review brief: Description This is a comedy feature with a space travel theme, directed by Jonathan Morgan. The plot involves princess Stormy fleeing evil overlord Mike Horner and his sidekicks Kyle and Devinn, with the help of her protectors, Randy and Evan. General Impression This is a truly funny parody of just about every space-themed tv show or movie that I've seen. The humor is closest in temperament to the smirky, wry Mystery Science Theater 3000. The budget for this feature was $200,000 -- about six times the amount that Morgan is usually given. No expense was spared, and it shows in the impressive costumes, stage sets, special effects, and makeup. I found it thoroughly enjoyable, and would recommend it to friends. Several of the actors did a particularly fine job, Evan Stone, Devinn Lane, Mike Horner, and Randy Spears among them. Mike was working under a prosthetic mask, and was still able to deliver priceless facial expressions. But Devinn was our favorite, spirited and sumptuous as the Dark Witch.

Review brief: Description This is a couples feature with very discreet use of condoms. The bare plot involves Asia tutoring Kaylani in martial arts to fight the forces of Evil. General Impression Fun! It has a campy, mainstream feel, with a few zippy special effects, and a nice variety of sex scenes. The box cover reads, "A young woman must face her destiny, her past, and her future. An epic tale of sexual awakening." Tee-hee! It's not all that. Except in the comic book sense, and Michael Raven likes comic books. The stage sets, costumes, make-up and camera techniques were impressive, the very decent musical score was written just for this movie (by Celina Mynx), and the girls looked great. Sex Asia Carrera, in traditional Japanese garb, has tea with Dillion, who has his hair shaved for a mowhawk, and a very convincing dragon 'tattoo' down the side of his head, neck, and shoulder. Don't watch it all at one sitting -- I suspect that doing so might cause insanity. I just can't muster a sunny, see-no-evil review for this one. My gut reaction to the movie was very negative. I've noticed that all the reviews of this movie so far are very positive, so I started asking around. Most of the guys that I have spoken to, even guys who like to watch rough sex movies, dislike this one. I asked four of the men who review on ADT, but who had not reviewed this movie. All had seen either this movie or one of the Dirty Trixxx movies, and all said they did not enjoy Mason's work and didn't plan to see any more of it. One of them, who rented Dirty Trixx "just to see what it was all about," fast forwarded through much of it, and said, "I thought it was pretty stupid. It had very little erotic value. General Impression It has its moments of kitschy fun, but the acting is better in many a high school play. Actually, the acting varies widely - it's great fun to see Jason Andrews playing the 'Bette Davis' role, but a few others in the cast can't match his talent. The sex is pretty hot and enthusiastic in the third and the last scenes. Disclaimer - I'm a straight female, and this is only the second gay porn movie I've watched. Sex In the first scene, Tony tries to placate and calm Jason. Their initial sparring settles into something more sensual, but the scene is a weak one - far, far into the scene, Tony is still not fully hard. Chi Chi mentions on the director's commentary that this scene was a tough one to shoot as the men are longtime old friends, and hadn't really contemplated ever doing a scene together. The longer foreplay was good, though, and the way Tony handles his dick as he holds it up for Jason to taste in short, choppy dips.

And so I always want to like Candida Royalle's movies, but they are so slow and boring that it takes major courage for me to pop one in the dvd player. I was thinking that maybe my memories of how slow these things are has become exaggerated. Or maybe she has changed lately and picked up the pace? Nope, I guess not! General Comments The plot provides a few minutes of chuckles, but not many for an 82 minute film. Much of what is meant to be funny is only a ludicrous flop.

Review brief: Description This is an amusing couples feature with condom use. Kylie Ireland is up late at night in front of the tv, flipping channels. Each show that she starts to watch leads her to fantasize a sex scene. General Impression I watched the extras first and was impressed with the generally light-hearted attitude on the set. Each scene is a spoof of a B movie, and the crew had fun with the goofy premises. The little pterodactyl marrionette is a scream. This movie is light, amusing, and fun, though the sex isn't super hot. In several scenes I sensed the presence chemistry, sexual skills, or pleasure that wasn't shown to full advantage. Sex The volume is a bit inconsistent at the beginning of the scene, as two cowboys (Pat and Joel) confront each other in a saloon. My husband and I got a kick out the piano player's fake playing and out of the 'old fashioned' playing cards which are charming and look handmade. Anyway, Kylie steps into the argument between the men and offers them a way to settle their differences peaceably.

General Impression The thing that impressed me most was the percentage of scenes in which the women get the guys off without male 'help.' Nice! It certainly helps the heat and chemistry factors. Also, at the end of the fourth scene, Sydnee gets Brad off orally, and it looks natural and realistic - no jizz splat over half the room, no spit jizz dribbling down her front. Where is the jizz? Who cares! How wonderful. Those who give a darn can replay it slow and play 'Spot the Jizz.' Sex Inari has married for money, and now finds herself sexually unfulfilled within the marriage, so she turns to the classifieds to hook up with a sexually adventurous couple, Nick and Kristal. There's lots of girl-girl before Nick's leather pants get unbuckled and his dick is freed for some dual tonguing and sucking.

Review brief: Description Date From Hell is a couples feature with a humorous plot. General Impression The movie wasn't overburdened with plot, but it also wasn't that funny. The girls are very good looking, and the sex was reasonably hot in two of the scenes, but nothing earth-shattering. By some odd quirk, they cast Ron Jeremy in two unrelated roles. Ron Jeremy chairs a meeting of people traumatized by bad dates. Serenity, Steve Hatcher, Johnni Black, and Steve Drake take turns describing their disappointing encounters. Sex Serenity imagines her upcoming date as a suave and polished man who brings perfect gifts and says all the right things. At her favorite restaurant, they peel off her clothes so that he can slip his latexed dick in for a vigorous, thumping mish with too much moaning. RCG and standing doggie follow. Review brief: Description This movie is all-sex, shot in point-of-view style. General Impression The sex takes a bit of a back seat to the p.o.v. angles and naughty talk. The girls talk too much, in some scenes interrupting the blowjobs frequently to talk. And very often there is a male voice prompting them with what to say next. This can be fairly absurd, as when a male voice says clearly and loudly "I want to taste my pussy," followed by the girl saying "I want to taste my pussy." It's a big distraction. Often when things are going fairly well, and could be getting arousing, I find myself anticipating the next dumb remark. Some of the girls are very hot, but the scenes get a little chopped by distractions. A male fan of the series told me he liked #2 better, and that the girls in #3 were like ventriloquists' dummies with tits.
