Review brief: The film opens in the hills of Tennessee where young Doc (Bobby Tyler) has the hots for Bear (Chad Johnson) a returning Vietnam War vet who has become a recluse. It appears that Bears desires are as strong as young Docs, because he leads the lad down to the river where he strips off the boys shirt and nuzzles him sweetly. Bobby drops to his knees and sucks longingly on Chads huge uncut boner. The foreskin seems to intrigue the youth, so he pulls it forward and sticks his tongue into it. Before long, Chad leans back onto a rock where Bobby straddles him and sits down on that mammoth cock. The big tool slips up into Bobbys bum as easily as a flaming sword goes into a snow bank. Review brief: This DVD comprises two of Man's Best's earlier efforts: Dicke Dinger [Big Dick Club] and Eroticon. Dicke Dinger opens with a cute twink sitting on the curb. He is approached by three others who invite him home. (The video has unnecessary narration by a German speaker "der knaben ficken"-the boys fuck, etc. and sometimes the narrator is a woman YUCK!). Well, they sit around for ages as the narrator babbles on and then--BANG--pants are down and two guys are sucking the other two. (It is bad enough when Americans have sex with their shoes on. But Germans seem to do it in their shirts, or, in the case of one of these guys, still in a shirt, tie, and jacket. If they have poor bodies they shouldn't be in these films.) After about twenty minutes of sucking, one of the guys cums. He then puts on his clothes and leaves. The sucking continues on among the remaining three. After three years pass, they sit on the sofa and bring themselves off. The second scene is much better. In that, two cute twinks do the hour-long suck, and then one fucks the other bareback.

Review brief: As to who the Hell Matt Gunther is, Matt Gunther was one of the sexiest young bad guys of pre-condom porn. He had the look of a street kid or the kind of boy your mother told you not to play with. I thought this made him very attractive and exciting. In some of his videos he appeared without any public hair--the first performer I ever saw do this. He could also, when the film demanded it, be a damn good actor. His best films were "Underground Homo Hardcore" where he played a tough kid who escaped from a juvenile detention center, and Jeff Stryker's "On the Rocks" delivering the unforgettable line, "You're gonna make me cum!" as Jeff was plowing into him with his sizable claim-to-fame. Unfortunately, Matt made a lot of cheap B and C films as well. He died of A.I.D.S. in 1997. The excerpts here are not Matt's best.

Review brief: Sclockmeister Edward James (the Ed Wood of gay porn) appears to just turn the camera on and let his performers go at it. If they are fairly attractive and into one another, the sex can be okay. But if they are not, we are condemned to watching a guy suck on a limp dick for fifteen minutes and then get fucked in the same position for another fifteen. In this film, to be fair, the guys are sexy and the sex isn't bad. But it's still pretty ordinary. Okay, so they're not wearing condoms. But mediocre sex doesn't become good sex just because the partners are not wearing condoms. It just becomes stupid sex. Buying these films will not simply be condoning schlock; it will be encouraging foolish and impressionable viewers to risk their lives for something that isn't worth it.

Review brief: This is a compilation of Eddie Perez scenes from other videos. Review brief: Although I find twosomes and threesomes to deliver the hottest action, I must admit that this film certainly creates heat. I remember seeing a reproduction of a poster for a 19th century touring company which advertised "Every Actor an Artist". I kept thinking of that as I watched this, because these guys are certainly artists when it comes to sucking cock. Talk about your instructional videos! Review brief: Nowadays Matt Sterling's films contain beautiful guys and lackluster sex, but when this film was made he wasn't jaded--he was at the top of his form. SIZING UP is one the best ever made by anyone! Brian Maxon is a veritable wet dream come to life. Kurt Marshall was the most beautiful natural blond to ever appear in porn. I first saw this film in a theater and when the lockerroom scene with Mark Miller boffing Kurt came on, I came too. (And I wasn't even touching myself!!!) Indeed, all of the scenes are SCORCHING! AND THEY'RE BAREBACK, TOO! This is one of the few VHS tapes worthy of a DVD transfer. If it weren't so expensive I would upgrade my old VHS.

Review brief: In another of his film parodies, writer-director Dino Phillips/Dane Preston has "cum" up with a winner. Although the acting ranges from excellent (Logan Reed) to excessive (Kevin Kramer) there is a clever plot to set up the sex scenes. I think videos are much hotter when we see characters fuck rather than just paid porn stars. Although I found Kramer's over-the top performance to be not campy, but just bad Jerry Lewis (Is there good Jerry Louis?) he certainly makes up for this as an adept sexual performer, taking both Matt Sizemore and Jack Ryan up his butt at the same time in one of the best double penetrations seen on film. And I love his new Prince Albert. The video opens with a terrific scene: Eric Wood stretching the maid, Michel Mattel, with some very large dildos. Mattel is very accomodating, but he probably doesn't do windows. The second scene with George Fleece and Kurt Wagner goes on too long; and the final scene between Logan Reed and Pete Davos does too.

DYNASTUD is one of the latest in this "revival" When the VHS appeared, Dynasty was the number one evening soap opera. Dynastud was a clever parody. Nowadays, the humor here is lost; but the pre-condom sex remains HOT! The opening scene with the beautiful blond Christopher Lance making out with the stableman Melchor has not cooled off with time.
