Review brief: Expectations The Reality series has consistently delivered some good scenes. Unfortunately, it has also consistently delivered a lot of filler. Items such as the "Private Reports", material that is included as bonus filler on other releases, is counted as actual scenes here. It is for this reason that I have generally reduced the scores on this series. Let's see if Private can actually deliver an entire movie's worth of material with this one. As with my previous reviews of this series, I will not bother to review the filler material. Technical While the technicals vary by scene, there is a high degree of integrity to the mechanics of this production. Review brief: Expectations I have liked the previous installments of this series. This episode marks the debut of new director Susi Medusa. I am enthused to see if she can take this series to a level that eluded Kovi. Capsule Review This episode of Fetish Machine gives a great shot in the arm to this entirely too predictable series. Susi really does a good job of pulling this volume up and into the spotlight. Technical The technicals of this DVD are up to Private's usual high standards. Much of the film is dark, but I believe this is stylistic and not poor lighting. The audio is typical Private dubbed fare. Review brief: Expectations I've said it before and I still believe it... this is easily the strongest compilation series in all of porn. Julia is a hottie. I have no reason not to be excited! Capsule Review Julia is a really beautiful girl. I don't mean cute, or hot, or sexy... I mean beautiful. And these Private directors have managed to capture her in fundamentally different ways. Thring has captured the amazing fetish side of this hottie. Kovi has presented a wanton, sex crazed babe. And Adamo has framed her up in all of her natural beauty. Julia is an incredible porn star and this volume of Private Life does her justice! Technical Since this is a compilation, the quality varies with the original source. But since this is a Private release, these were all very good to start with.

Review brief: Expectations My expectations of new entries in the Kovi Black Label series are always, uniformly high. It is very rare that this series has disappointed. I have no reason to believe that this title will be any different. Capsule Review This is really a Dora Ventor showcase. If you like Dora, you will absolutely love this DVD since everything, sex and plot, revolves around Dora. And she looks very good in this disc as well. The plot (and as you all know, I don't do plots) is very weak and really doesn't enter into the disc very much. It is mostly an excuse for Dora to get naked and cavort in some very scenic riverside locations. Technical The video is extremely sharp and clear. The audio is the typical Private mangled dubbed soundtrack. The menus are intuitive and professional. Review brief: Expectations Private has released a number of compilation DVDs in the last few years. These draw upon the vast library of scenes in the Private vault. Most of these DVDs have been solid, even if they are not spectacular. The one exception is the "Private Life" series which has been spectacular. Private's latest marketing ploy is to collect up several of their prior DVDs and to bundle them together as a superpack. Capsule Review I recently reviewed the Private/Penthouse box set and I was thrilled. The care they put into that re-package was obvious. Unfortunately, they do not seem to value all of their re-releases equally. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing flawed about this release. It's just that there is nothing special either. In effect, they have taken three of their Anal compilation DVDs - Anal Toppers, Anal Introductions, and Pure Anal - packaged them in a 4 DVD case with their Sampler 6, and covered it with a new picture. That's it. No booklet. No special features.

Review brief: Expectations This series is kind of a hodge podge. Some of the scenes are generally excellent. But unfortunately, past volumes have had more than their fair share of filler, including Reports (which should never be sold as premium content) and outtakes that look like outtakes. Let's hope this is a stronger volume. Capsule Review This is not one of the stronger volumes in this series.

Review brief: Expectations My expectations of this DVD are that it will be very average porn. My past experience with LeCastel flics have been that they range from poor to average. This based on past experience with volumes from the Assman (poor) and Matador (average) lines. So why am I bothering with this review you ask? Because I recently reviewed Private Reality 11 and the LeCastel scene in that one was very strong. Aside from some technical issues I was very impressed with the content of the scene. So I am hoping that this is indicative of a new phase of LeCastel movie making. Capsule Review Looks like it was false hope after all. While this is not as bad as a typical Assman title (BEAM), and is probably on par or a little better than the Matador stuff, it is still not even close to the heat generated by his scene in Reality, or to other current offerings from Private. Technical The technicals are definitely on the rough side. Don't expect lavish well-lit sets and wardrobe here. And don't expect smooth, fluid editing either.

Review brief: Expectations The Fetish Machine series is a weird bird. Whereas the Pirate series from Frank Thring had a good fetish feel to it, and the Tanya Hyde stuff was brilliant, the Kovi stuff never quite seems to sync. These are well filmed releases with hot girls, but the fetish generally is confined to some outfits and some face paint. I hope that this release will surpass some of its predecessors. Capsule Review This is definitely the best volume I've seen in this series. While the face painting still seems somewhat silly to me, the sets and the sex are better than the previous installments. And the cast is stellar. Technical The camera work is very good and clear. The lighting is adequate, although some of the shots are a little too smoky (a stylistic element that slightly interferes with the production.) The audio is dubbed. Review brief: Expectations Antonio Adamo really doesn't seem to have a home these days at Private. When the Private/Penthouse series was around, Adamo had a wonderful showcase for his talents. The Virtualia series also did a good job of showing off his work. But now he is shooting for the new Private Movies line as well as the old Private Gold line. While he seems to "own" the movies line, his recent work for Private Gold seems to be a bit stronger. I have high hopes for this one. Capsule Review This is a very strong DVD with Adamo showing off many of his trademark shots. While this disc is reminiscent of the Penthouse series, it has more plot and that puts it in line with the Gold series. The plot does not get in the way of any of the sex, and that makes it acceptable to me. Technical The camerawork and lighting are excellent. The mastering is beautiful.

Review brief: Expectations The Private/Penthouse series was really the showcase of the talents of Antonio Adamo. He released 12 DVDs in this series. This box set captures 6 of them. I know the movies well, but I can't wait to see how the box has come out. Capsule Review All I can say is WOW! I am going to approach this review a little differently than I normally do, and I will dwell a while in this section. Also, I am not going to do a scene by scene review, but rather a disc by disc review. First off, let's broach the subject of Adamo. He is a very highly stylistic director that has a unique trademark feel to his movies. Some folks love his stuff, and others seem to hate it. I don't think there is a lot of middle ground. There have been comparisons drawn to Blake and Ninn, but other than the fact that those directors are also highly stylized, I don't think there are a lot of parallels. Adamo shoots porn as though it were a fashion magazine. Everything is bright, colors are deep and rich, wardrobe and sets are perfect, the women are made up.

Review brief: Expectations The Reality releases have been strange. They are collections of totally unrelated scenes, reminiscent of the Private XXX series. Some of the scenes have been exceptional while others have felt like cheezy outtakes. And they always insist on including a couple of their "Reports" or "Behind The Scenes" as if they were real scenes. They are not. They are standard bonus fare and it is not reasonable to charge people for them as if they were premium footage. I do not review these filler pieces. They are a report of "Sunrise" and one of "Love Is In The Web" Capsule Review This is the strongest edition yet for this series. The 5 original scenes are all worth watching (this is the first volume where that has been true) and three of them are outstanding. Technical The technicals vary according to the original source, but most is very strong.

Review brief: Expectations I'm not sure what my expectations are. I really like some of Ninn's stuff, but other bits of his work are overproduced and goofy. This is actually directed by Barry Wood under the Ninn Worx log. I really like Jenna when she does hardcore, but I have no idea what her work will be like here. Let's cross our fingers and find out... Capsule Review I'm really disappointed by this release. The cast looks strong, the NinnWorx label has promise, and Private doesn't skimp on their releases. But this is really average overindulgent porn. There is nothing here that is really memorable. Technical I'm dissapointed by the technicals as well. While they are not bad by a long shot, they are not superlative either. Many scenes are too dark and somewhat fuzzy. Review brief: Expectations This series has been the strongest compilation series I have ever watched. I have not yet seen a bad installment (though some are stronger than others) and have no reason to believe that this will be the first. I'm looking forward to this one. Capsule Review This DVD continues the high standards Private has established for this series. It does a very good job of documenting Lynn's work for Private and introduces quite a bit of appropriate new material. There are interviews and other set ups for each of the scenes on the main disc. And there is an entire disc of bonus material included as well. Technical Since this is a compilation, the quality varies with the original source. But since this is a Private release, these were all very good to start with. So the overall quality of this disc is definitely up to snuff.

Review brief: Expectations Kovi's movies are generally good and the Black Label line has been fairly solid. I was disappointed by Love Is In The Web, so hopefully this release gets things back on track. Capsule Review Kovi has produced the best installment in this series in a very long time. Review brief: Expectations As anyone who reads my reviews knows, I like Private DVDs. I especially like Antonio Adamo Private DVDs. This one stars Jodie Moore and Lynn Stone. To say that I am looking forward to it is an understatement. Capsule Review Antonio Adamo continues his tradition of making aesthetically beautiful porn. This one finds itself in a tropical setting and features a cast of extremely beautiful women. If you enjoy watching mega-hotties get it on in outdoor beach scenes, you'll have a hard time finding a better movie. Technical As per Adamo's usual high standards, the video and lighting are positively stunning. As are the girls, their wardrobes and makeup. The sets are also incredible. This DVD suffers from Private's typical audio dubbing. Review brief: Expectations As everyone is probably aware, I tend to like Private's releases. This is the second release in their Tropical line, a series that centers on outdoor sex & sun. I'm not a huge fan of outdoor sex, but the first release in this series was good so I'm looking forward to this one. Capsule Review This release is not bad. It features pretty girls in exotic locales. If you like the idea of hot babes in swimsuits getting it on, this release is for you. Technical The video aspects of this disc are very strong. The outdoor lighting provides clear, crisp, consistent video throughout the DVD. The audio on the other hand is typical, badly dubbed Private. Review brief: Expectations I'm still getting a feel for this series. I have only seen one other title from this series and it was a mixed bag. On the one hand, the original material was good and well worth watching. The problem was that the disc had too much filler. I figure I will watch a couple more titles from the series to give it a fair shake. Capsule Review This disc definitely has some strong original material, and hardcore Private fans may want to check this one out just for these new scenes... but, like the other volume, there is still too much rehash. In particular, this disc contains two "Private Reports", Sex In A Frame and Fever. While these reports are interesting, they are generally included as bonus material on other Private releases and as such, I have a difficult time counting them as scenes on this disc. I will not review them as such. However, unlike Reality 7, this DVD still contains enough new material (5 scenes) to make this disc worth checking out. Technical The scenes here are from various sources, and as such, they vary.

Review brief: Expectations My expectations of Adamo films are always high, although the titles from the Private Movies line have not been as strong as the Penthouse series was. This one stars Jodie Moore who is a seriously hot Aussie. I'm not all that fond of outdoor scenes, particularly water scenes... but this is Adamo. Capsule Review This is the strongest title so far in the Private Movies lineup. I still would not consider this to be of the same caliber as Italian Flair or Fashion, but this is definitely a solid release. Technical Like all Adamo releases, the video camera work and lighting are suberb. The audio is typical dubbed Private. Review brief: Expectations Let's see... a Private Black Label disc with Sophie Evans and Rita Faltoyano! How could I not be looking forward to this one? Capsule Review This is basically a huge disappointment. New Private lensman J.M. Ponce tends to get carried away with the effects, and tries in many ways to imitate Ninn. But Ninn he is not and the final product does not have the shine and technical polish of a Ninn film. However, some of the sex is very hot and the girls are exceptional. So while I don't think of this DVD as some sort of trend setter, it has a few whackable moments. Also, the choice of story, Faust, is somewhat silly. I mean, how could one truly portray one of the classics in terms of porn? Unluckily it gets in the way of quite a few scenes. Technical Like most modern Private releases, video and lighting are excellent. Audio is dubbed. The girls and sets are outstanding. It is in anamorphic widescreen. Director J.M.

Review brief: Expectations I generally like Private titles so I wanted to sample a disc from this series. When I saw Silvia in the title role, I figured it was time. Capsule Review This is a very weak DVD. If it is indicitive of other discs in this series (and I have no reason not to believe this is the case), it is a very weak series. Basically they haul out some moldy old interview footage of girls who would eventually work for Private. They do not look good in that they are not made up, costumed, etc. They answer some ridiculous questions for an extended period of time. They take off their clothes and pose for a few minutes. Then we cut to a scene from another Private movie, along with the outtakes from the scene. This is a compilation disc at best, and a bad one at that! Technical All of the interview scenes are of terrible quality, audio & video.

Review brief: Expectations I wasn't sure what to expect as I've never watched one of the Reality titles before. I generally like Private releases and the inclusion of several top directors shows promise. Capsule Review This disc is very inconsistent. 3 of the 8 scenes are Reports - "Without Limits 2", "Guns & Rough Sex", & "The Sexterminators" - the extra goodies that are generally included on all Private releases. I have a problem with them counting these as scenes on this disc. That means there are really only 5 scenes on this disc. Those are the only ones I will review. Technical The technical aspects of this DVD vary, but are generally good. The disc is really more of a comp than an original release, so audio and video vary.

Review brief: Expectations While I have had some mix of reaction to Private films, for the most part they have been positive. I like the title, and Frank Thring is the director. Generally, this is a very good sign! Synopsis While the production date is listed as 2002, this is a significantly older movie. I do not know how old, but it reeks of nostalgia, maybe early 90's. I am not a big nostalgia buff, so some of this is lost on me. Technical The photography and sound are not bad considering the vintage of this flic. Scene 1 - Melanie Rowan Melanie is a good looking brunette in a fishnet body stocking. She is tied down to a table. A bunch of weird hooded monk dudes start to fondle her. (These monk dudes will be hanging around for the rest of the film, so get used to them.) She blows one while another eats her out. Another note here, she is plenty bushy down below - get used to that too. Not much that's trimmed in this movie. They bone her vaginally and anally while she blows them. The set is like something from a B-Grade horror movie. The lighting is way too dark.

Review brief: I love Adamo, and I love Laura Angel. I can't wait to check this out... Synopsis This is a film with a plot. I have no idea what the plot is about. I don't care. I watch the sex scenes. As you will see, some of this disc is incredible, while the rest of it is totally forgettable. Too bad! Technical This is a typical Private/Adamo release. The photography and mastering are flawless. The sound is dubbed. The extras are typical of Private releases; Cast, Trailer, and Report. Scene 1 - Melinda & Black Widow Melinda looks especially tasty in this scene. She is wearing a gold lame minidress with fishnet stockings and heels. Her hair is cropped very short and she reeks of sex. Black widow wears a denim skirt with lace up heels. Her belly top is very form fitting and flattering. Overall, a nice wardrobe and setting for this opening scene. They are in a front room sitting on a couch as they have a nice, warm 3-way with a guy. There is plenty of oral, vag & PTM. Melinda takes an anal as well.
