Expectations

The Reality releases have been strange. They are collections of totally unrelated scenes, reminiscent of the Private XXX series. Some of the scenes have been exceptional while others have felt like cheezy outtakes. And they always insist on including a couple of their "Reports" or "Behind The Scenes" as if they were real scenes. They are not. They are standard bonus fare and it is not reasonable to charge people for them as if they were premium footage. I do not review these filler pieces. They are a report of "Sunrise" and one of "Love Is In The Web"

Capsule Review

This is the strongest edition yet for this series. The 5 original scenes are all worth watching (this is the first volume where that has been true) and three of them are outstanding.

Technical

The technicals vary according to the original source, but most is very strong. The weakest seems to be the Le Castel footage, but it is still acceptable.

Scene 1 - Dora Venter & Michelle Wild in "Sex On The Dance Floor" (Kovi)

This scene perfectly demonstrates why I love Private. These two girls are incredibly hot. I have loved them in most of their releases and this one is no exception. Michelle is fetching in a bright red dress, stockings and high heels. Dora looks good in a blue print mini dress and heels. They are accompanied by two guys. These girls commence to teasing the viewer and each other. The two girls get up on a table and start dancing and disrobing. The guys look on in approval. They then participate in some great oral. Scene 6 - Daniella & Kate in "Countess Caprices" (Le Castel)

This scene has a very different look to it from the rest of the disc. It almost looks like older footage. I do not believe this is the case, rather I believe that this is just because Le Castel does not use great lighting techniques, but I could be wrong. Kate is a raven haired cutie who looks almost professional (as in exec, not streetwalker). She wears a business suit. Daniella is a blonde sweetie in a black miniskirt and tank top. In typical Le Castel style, there is suddenly a room full of guys and they proceed to manhandle these two girls. The sex is furious and runs the gamut: oral, vag, anal, PTM, ATM and DPs. Both girls seem to like it a lot. There is a lot of gaping as well. I liked this scene. Whack Factor: 9

Scene 7 - Eva in "Sex On The High Seas" (Romagnoli)

Eva is a very pretty redhead asea on a large sailing ship. She wears an alluring bikini and smokes a cigarette. There are two guys on board. One of them helps her out of her suit and begins to eat her. She returns the favor administering a good BJ with lots of eye contact. She fucks vag for a bit before the other guy joins in. She finds herself in the middle of a suck and fuck. This scene is not nearly as well shot or directed as the rest of this disc. While it is mastered in widescreen (the only scene of the disc that is) the camera work is surprisingly disappointing considering the outdoor lighting. Romagnoli needs to spend a little time with his label mates to get some pointers on effective outdoor filmwork. Whack Factor: 7

In Conclusion

This series has come a long way. When it first appeared, this seemed to be a vehicle for marketing leftover outtakes and scrapped scenes. Now, it appears, that original content is being shot for this series making this DVD a great view. Even after factoring out the reports, there are five great scenes here. I have no problems issuing a buy recommendation for this one.
