Reality 11: Singularity Review

Expectations

This series is kind of a hodge podge. Some of the scenes are generally excellent. But unfortunately, past volumes have had more than their fair share of filler, including Reports (which should never be sold as premium content) and outtakes that look like outtakes. Let's hope this is a stronger volume.

Capsule Review

This is not one of the stronger volumes in this series. While 3 of the original scenes (1, 3 & 4) are definitely worth taking the time to watch, and one of the reports (Scene 2 - Private in Cannes) is also interesting, the rest of the disc is pretty much throwaway and should never have seen the light of day.

The technicals vary considerably from excellent (Scenes 1 & 2) to mediocre (Scene 6).

Scene Review

Scene 1 - Lynn Stone (Al Little)

What happens when Private meets Star Trek? You get a hokey plotted porn vignette with a very hot babe and some good strong sex. Lynn and her 2 mates are beamed up to a white room where they arrive in their underwear. The guys spend a little time fingering and eating her, and then she returns the favor by blowing them. They use some jelly toys and her puss and her ass. They then fuck her vaginally and anally. Not a bad scene to open with, but I understand why this scene made the Reality series. I would not want to watch an entire movie of this silliness. Whack Factor: 7

Scene 3 - Gina Dossantos (Lucrecia Del Toro)

This one is a French period piece from the time of Louis XIV. If you like the look of ladies in waist cinchers and huge white wigs, this one may be the turn on you've been waiting for. Two gentlemen give Gina all the attention she can handle in this scene. And she looks magnificent (and in character) throughout the scene. The action includes oral, vag, anal and a DP. I definitely liked this one and I continue to be impressed with the footage I've seen from Del Toro. Whack Factor: 9

Scene 4 - Mandy Bright (Franco Roccaforte)

Mandy is a hottie. There's just no getting around that. She looks superb as she wanders through a crowded street in a summer sun dress. She meets her beau and kisses him warmly and genuinely. They find their way down to a secluded, tropical beach and commence to get it on. The photography is stunning and Roccaforte shows that he is quickly adopting that "Private Style" in his shoots. Action includes oral, vag and anal. A good outdoor beach scene for those who enjoy these scenes. Whack Factor: 8

Scene 6 - Vanessa Virgin & Gina Blonde (Jean Yves LeCastel)

This scene appears to be an outtake from the Alpine Sex shoot. Personally, I do not like the winter setting. I find very little to be attractive about women in oversized parkas and ski boots. And the thought of getting naked in the snow does little to arouse me either. But the 2 girls and 3 guys in this scene do exactly that. The photography is less than stunning (per LeCastel's usual delivery) and the sex is entirely too staged. Action includes oral, vag, anal, DPs and lots of gaping. I was fairly bored with this scene. Whack Factor: 6

Scene 7 - Alissa & Liza (Antonio Adamo)

Here is yet another outtake from the Gladiator shoots. This one features two beauties in an entirely too dark setting (not by mistake, the scene calls for a dark set). The two rub and lick for a bit before they are joined by a guy. The sex is lackluster and I can understand why this one never made the movies. There is a variety of sex including oral, vag, anal, PTM and ATM. This one should have stayed in the can. Whack Factor: 4

In Conclusion

This series continues to be very spotty. Private should consider releasing this series at a budget price since in many ways, it acts as a sampler. But at the high price tag, I cannot recommend this volume for purchase. Perhaps a rental is in order, or maybe you can find a line on a used copy.
