review from 2/27/2015:
The mischievous, barbarian chieftan, Randy Spears, and his hell-raising horde will stop at nothing to rend a powerful, magical crystal from the hands of its rightful owners in "The New Barbarian", a very good, 1990 release from VCA and Henri Pachard. With its inexplicable ability to bring about time-travel, this sexually-fueled gem is certainly a prize worth seeking...and, for Victoria Paris and her peaceful people, a prize worth protecting. A blend of sex and (mild) violence ensues, as the two groups wrestle for control of the piece. Harking back to the days of the old barbarian films of the 1980s while concomitantly mixing in that same era's pornographic charm, this one is most certainly rife with nostalgic value. The sex is also steamy...again, in that 80s style...and seeing Victoria Paris sex it up in her prime is always a welcomed occurrence. For the right crowd--fans of 80s fantasy, porno nostalgia, Victoria Paris, and / or quirky features--this one is worthy. [read the full review]

review from 6/3/2015:
THE SEDUCTION OF MARY (1992, VCA) is a rather ordinary title for what is actually an intricately woven tale of lawyer Mary Johnson (Victoria Paris) falling under the seductive spell of erotica author Marshall Solomen (Mike Horner) or does she? Director Michael Craig also gets screenwriting credit along with Leslie Black for a xxx film that actually uses the sexual situations to help advance this erotic tale to a conclusion that, although not totally satisfying, tops nearly every feature uncorked by today's major studios. Standard frame. No condoms. Few extras. 1 hour 24 minutes. [read the full review]

Title: Seduction of Mary Company: VCA (LFP, Inc.) Length: 83 minutes VHS Release: September 1992 DVD Release: July 2005 Condoms: None Director: Michael Craig Written by: Leslie Black and Michael Craig BOXCOVER SYNOPSIS: Victoria Paris is a high-powered entertainment exec. with a new client an erotic novelist named Marshall Solomon (Mike Horner). At first her relationship with the author is all business. But soon, Marshalls written fantasies become reality as Victoria succumbs to the writers charismatic sexualityin more ways than one. THE MOVIE: There is a moment around 3 minutes into Seduction of Mary that is emblematic of the entire film. Mike Horner is seated in front of Cassidy, a short-haired, underappreciated porn star from the early 90s with an amazing ass and a face that now reminds me of a mix between Chelsea Blue and Gina Gershon. He has instructed her to remove her red blouse, and she has nervously complied. [read the full review]

T. Boy, Victoria Paris, Mark Davis, and Joey Silvera Initial Expectations: Ashlyn has been one of my favorite starlets for a heck of a long time, and this series has been very well done. Im going in here with high expectations. Initial Reaction: Its one of the best comps Ive ever seen! Who Should Watch It : Anybody whos a fan of Ashlyn or just curious about her Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants something on the nastier side of Ashlyn Audio /Video Quality: The audio varies a bit throughout the feature, but the interview comes across crystal clear. The movies themselves come across feeling as good as what they originally sounded to be, but since some of the features are from the early to mid-nineties, they dont always look as good as they might now. review from 6/22/2021:
They always say that the crazy ones are the most fun, and this is no doubt the case for Tori Welles, who plays the part of a woman with multiple personalities...all but one of which is a total sex fiend. Indeed, Welles'' character transforms from one identity (and outward appearance) to another, as she compulsively fucks her way through what seems like half the town...apparently enjoying every minute of it. Such is the case in "The Chameleon", an exceptional 1989 release from director John Leslie and VCA. [read the full review]
Corey Thomas'
review from 8/21/2005:
John Leslie's "The Chameleon", which many, including this reviewer, consider his masterpiece, begins with a soothing blues ditty by Bill Reid as the credits go up. We then open with a woman named Diana (Tori Welles) talking to her psychiatrist (Richard Pacheco). It appears that she has sexual problems, although they're not what you would probably imagine. It turns out that Diana's a "chameleon". If you don't know what I mean, just read ahead and you soon will. We then cut into a sizzling sex scene with a woman (April West) taking on two guys (Scott Irish, Axel Horn). After they are finished, the woman goes to the bathroom, where she turns into Diana! She has the ability to change her identities, which she takes to her full advantage. This is much to the chagrin of her boyfriend Marc (Tom Byron), for whom sex is a much more meaningful experience. The ChameleonAn Official Selection of the Goldmember Masterpiece Collection What is the Masterpiece Collection? I suppose it is my personal pornography Hall of Fame. It is only for those select films that I consider to be at the very pinnacle of the industry. This is an honor reserved only for films that I believe will stand the test of time. The Chameleon - The Details Studio - VCA Director - John Leslie Female Cast - Tori Welles, Victoria Paris, Selena Steele, Debi Diamond, April West, Rose, Pamela, Lynn Francis Male Cast - Peter North, Tom Byron, Buck Adams, Joey Silvera, Axel Horn, Scott Irish, Ray Victory Running Time - 1 hours 15min (approx) Overall Impression This is a true classic! This 1989 film stands the test of time better than I would have ever imagined considering the last time I viewed this masterpiece was over a decade ago. Sure this is a rather bare bones transfer from video to DVD, but the feature is just so well done that I could not resist giving this walk down memory lane a five star score. This film may very well be Tori's best. [read the full review]

Unable to grasp the raw sexuality fervently bubbling up and manifesting itself in her erotic dreams, a young woman (Tori Welles) seeks out the aid of a pair of cutting-edge psychologists (Randy Spears and Porsche Lynn) whose dream-viewing machine may be just the ticket to helping her realize her full, fornicating potential. Of course, along the way, Tori's put through her pornographic paces, as she diddles up a storm and whilst her vibrant visions flash across the laboratory's screen. Such is the case in "Night Trips", an overall-good, 1989 release form Caballero and director Andrew Blake. [read the full review]

Starring : Tori Welles, Jamie Summers, Porsche Lynn, Randy Spears, Peter North etc. Directed, photographed, edited and written by : Andrew Blake Running Time : 74 Minutes Review : One of the best-known films of Andrew Blake (and yes, this is shot on glorious 35mm), Night Trips is also his first hardcore outing. All the typical Blake trademarks are here : Fast cutting, beautiful women who are heavily made up and costumized (though less excessively here than usual), and great cinematography and lighting. Indeed, after having been let down by EVERY shot- on-film feature, this was the first that was both properly developed (no extreme grain or bad color correction) and really well shot. review from 6/3/2017:
Distraught over dirty dreams, an innocent, God-fearing, young woman named Peaches (played by the big-busted brunette legend, Keisha) embarks upon a journey of self- (and sexual-) exploration that takes her on one hell of a wild (...and often awkward...) ride. Such is the case in "Pretty Peaches 3", a very good, 1989 release from acclaimed director, Alex deRenzy, and VCA. [read the full review]

review from 4/13/2000:
Directed by Alex De Renzy, "Pretty Peaches 3" garnered much in the way of critical and popular acclaim when it was first released back in 1989. Now, over a decade later, the video holds up only middlingly well despite it's "classic' status. I am not at all sure if today's "XXX-Generation" (those who maintain a steady diet of Max Hardcore and Sodomania) videos will have the patience for it. Shot on film, the DVD is much sharper and has better colors than its original VHS incarnation. For an old-timer like me, it was great to see actresses like Rachel Ryan, Victoria Paris, Tianna and Keisha back in action, although their best work has yet to hit DVD.The movie follows Keisha "on a quest for spritual enlightenment," but her encounters are more physical than anything else. Despite the fashion period of that time, Keisha looks great in just about every scene she's in. However, for whatever reason, Director De Renzy has chosen to mute her sexual performance and the results are disappointing. [read the full review]

Plot Synopsis: This movie is the story of Peaches, a young and naive virgin, trying to find answers to her confusing emotions. The film begins with Peaches (Keisha) and her friend, Sandy (Lynn LeMay), talking about Sandy's experience of letting a guy look at her "under the sheets." After Peaches' mom (Tracey Adams) runs them off to bed, Peaches has a dream of Sandy's experience. [read the full review]

review from 3/19/2002:
Sorority Sex Kittens - Part 1 is a good movie to purchase or rent if you like lighthearted plot-based films and films with a sorority/college theme. Since the story continues in the next disc in the series, I would recommend purchasing or renting this one with its sequel Sorority Sex Kittens - Part 2. If the story really matters to you, you also would probably want to rent or purchase Sorority Pink and Sorority Pink 2 since they hold the origins of the storyline. I would recommend those that don't like a plot to slow down their porn pass on this one. [read the full review]

eric's
review from 3/22/2004:
Clocking in at 2 hours and 16 minutes this feature is way too long. The story line, for a porno anyway, is way way way too complicated. It is a nice idea to be thorough but does anyone really care about the true history of the sorority, and the meaning of its Cajun roots and legacies? And what the hell is this time warp thing at the end with Jill Kelly's only dialogue in the film? But I do like the witty intelligence thrown in - especially the music references to Warren Zevon and "Lawyers, Guns, and Money" and Van Morrison's "Tupelo Honey" (those are a few topics I never thought I would encounter in erotic cinema reviews). Oh and the sex --- pretty good stuff - but too many blondes. The standouts are Gere, Ireland, Ashton, and Serenity though the bulk of the picture seems to belong to LaVeaux. Houston's hair was terrible but she gave a good fuck and I can't complain if Stacy Valentine is one of the blondes (though her makeup was terrible). The individual sex scenes are very good but of course the highlight is the huge virtually all girl orgy at the end. [read the full review]

review from 7/19/2000:
The Plot: As you can tell from the title, this is part three of a series. I really wish I'd seen the first two. I might know a bit more where these people were coming from. I dropped this happy disk into my DVD player, expecting a fairly brainless ho-hum, low budget porn flick. I should have paid more attention. Two clues went right by me until I watched the opening credits. Clue number one: This is VCA putting out this DVD, so they have the talent. Clue number two: Executive producer is Antonio Passolini. Aha! As far as I can gather, the Upsilon Sigma Sorority has apparently been using voodoo rituals to kidnap fraternity guys to use them for breeding purposes. The girls stay young and fresh through depraved rituals, and use the guys for stud service whenever they feel the need or want children. I don't really see the problem, but I suppose the guys don't like being kept around and screwed silly every now and then. Whatever. Anyhow, our movie starts with the capture of the latest recruit for stud service. [read the full review]
