Initial Reaction: Its okay for a start, but doesnt go into too much detail. Who Should Watch It : Anybody looking for a few basic tips for getting started with anal play Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants an in depth look at anal play Audio /Video Quality: As usual with this series, the technical aspects are lacking a bit. The audio is often clear, but the balance isnt always even. The video looks like it hasnt been touched since the original video transfer. I liked this DVD! I found it to be honest, original, straight forward and sexy all at the same time. Nina starts out with a very honest instructional "lecture" of sorts while beautiful Tina Tyler lounges in the background. Nina speaks as though you were right there with her, I thought this really added a nice dimension to an instructional type video. Nina is very well spoken and seems very well educated. She touches upon cultural influences, emotional aspects of a womyn's sexuality. I was very pleased to find this was not just a "put your fingers here and rub" DVD. Some of the things she pointed out the importance of were: -Kiss and touch -A womyn feeling safe, physically and emotionally -That womyn are very tactile -Slowing down, being in the moment -Getting the fires burning Nina Hartley shares some very insightful, real issues that womyn face in this first segment. This is not to say that such videos can't be informative, but obvious discussions on the art of lovemaking are usually peppered with obvious suggestions like, "Take your time. Be sensitive to your partner's needs. Enjoy the experience..." (Well, duh!). The Main Event The movie opens with a monologue by Tina Hartley describing several class of toys, such as vibrating, penetrative toys, tactile toys, sensory depravation toys, and constrictive toys. She talks about safety, such as using flaired base anal toys so they aren't sucked in, and not placing the penis into something that doesn't open or easily streach, such as bottles. After the discussion of toys, the women from the three demonstration couples gets to pick out a few toys for them to try. While the women pick out toys, the guys are trying to race vibrating toys across a glass table. As Nina says, one needs to be able to laugh at sex, as it is sweaty and hair in the face fun. A few short biographies, interactive sex, and a few previews. Audio / Video Quality: The video quality is better than average. The picture is quite clear, and there weren't any spots where I thought it was grainy. The audio is a little below average. In a few parts the sound echoes slightly, however the main problem is the audio level. Normally on my TV I have the volume in the low 20s. A few short biographies, interactive sex, and a few previews. Audio / Video Quality: The video quality is better than average. The picture is quite clear, and there weren't any spots where I thought it was grainy. The audio is a little below average. In a few parts the sound echoes slightly, however the main problem is the audio level. Normally on my TV I have the volume in the low 20s. Clocking in at 2 hours and 16 minutes this feature is way too long. The story line, for a porno anyway, is way way way too complicated. It is a nice idea to be thorough but does anyone really care about the true history of the sorority, and the meaning of its Cajun roots and legacies? And what the hell is this time warp thing at the end with Jill Kelly's only dialogue in the film? But I do like the witty intelligence thrown in - especially the music references to Warren Zevon and "Lawyers, Guns, and Money" and Van Morrison's "Tupelo Honey" (those are a few topics I never thought I would encounter in erotic cinema reviews). Oh and the sex --- pretty good stuff - but too many blondes. The standouts are Gere, Ireland, Ashton, and Serenity though the bulk of the picture seems to belong to LaVeaux. Houston's hair was terrible but she gave a good fuck and I can't complain if Stacy Valentine is one of the blondes (though her makeup was terrible). The individual sex scenes are very good but of course the highlight is the huge virtually all girl orgy at the end. [read the full review]

I dropped this happy disk into my DVD player, expecting a fairly brainless ho-hum, low budget porn flick. I should have paid more attention. Two clues went right by me until I watched the opening credits. Clue number one: This is VCA putting out this DVD, so they have the talent. Clue number two: Executive producer is Antonio Passolini. Aha! As far as I can gather, the Upsilon Sigma Sorority has apparently been using voodoo rituals to kidnap fraternity guys to use them for breeding purposes. The girls stay young and fresh through depraved rituals, and use the guys for stud service whenever they feel the need or want children. I don't really see the problem, but I suppose the guys don't like being kept around and screwed silly every now and then. Whatever. Anyhow, our movie starts with the capture of the latest recruit for stud service. [read the full review]
