The Plot: Yep, not every great movie makes a whole hell of a lot of sense. Conquest is a good example. Our lovely tale of lust and torn bodices starts with a hanging. John "Dutch" is about to die for his crimes as a pirate. Sentenced to hang by his neck until dead (Does anyone just hang by the neck until uncomfortable?), John is rescued at the last second by his Captain, his fellow crewmen and the timely intervention of a chick with big tits. Naturally, no good deed goes unpunished, and we are treated to watching the crown prince (hilariously overplayed to perfection by somebody who deserved more credit) rant & rave about "Blackheart", our hero. Speaking of our hero, he and his crew are resting in the Batcave before setting sail. Captain Steubing receives a navigation chart and instructions to meet up with the rest of his crew at an uncharted island. Instead of thwacking the guy over the head for giving him a chart and instructions for an uncharted island, he wanders off to brood over the loss of his family. [read the full review]

There's a bit of variety to how big the ladies are here, but they all know how sexual they can be and aren't afraid to show it off for the camera. There's plenty of chemistry in each scene, but Steve Holmes really stands out among the guys looking like he's in heaven in every scene while Brigitte and Valentina D'Oro stood out from the rest of the ladies slightly (perhaps due to the anal in their scenes). The technical aspects are nicely done and there's also a little effort put into the extras to help the movie out. Sadly Zero Tolerance doesn't follow through on their cover claim about strip teases in the extras once again, but with how good this release is it shouldn't hold anybody back from checking it out. Title: Conquest: Special Collectors Edition Released by: Wicked Pictures Normally you dont hear "adult film" and "special collectors edition" together in the same DVD. But the folks at Wicked Pictures brought the two together quite well. Ok, lets start with the movie. This is a movie about pirates that actually uses a REAL ship. Were not talking the set of a ship or an elaborate mock-up with a green-screen ocean. Im sure that set producers back quite a bit, which probably also explained why they only used ONE ship. Period costumes, period weapons, and some attempts at period language. Now without even watching the opening credits, I knew that this was an Adam & Eve production, even if it was released by Wicked Pictures. How do I know, you ask? Because of the excessive use of slow motion, especially during the sex scenes. Well fortunately they dont go overboard as they did with some other movies ("Caribbean Undercover" comes to mind). (Repeat after me: sex plus slow motion equal BORING!) There IS a story in this movie. [read the full review]

But the folks at Wicked Pictures brought the two together quite well. Ok, lets start with the movie. This is a movie about pirates that actually uses a REAL ship. Were not talking the set of a ship or an elaborate mock-up with a green-screen ocean. Im sure that set producers back quite a bit, which probably also explained why they only used ONE ship. Period costumes, period weapons, and some attempts at period language. Now without even watching the opening credits, I knew that this was an Adam & Eve production, even if it was released by Wicked Pictures. How do I know, you ask? Because of the excessive use of slow motion, especially during the sex scenes. Well fortunately they dont go overboard as they did with some other movies ("Caribbean Undercover" comes to mind). Not even by this excellent DVD. The Private Life of Silvia Saint is a two-disc DVD featuring nothing but the best of its star's work with Private. Such a release is to perverts what the The Lord of the Rings movie was to geeks. It is, simply, all the stuff they like right there in one easy to access package. Private has a loyal following, and I guess it's deserved, though I've never been an enthusiastic fan myself. While well produced with many truly beautiful women, Private movies are often a little distant. Their sex scenes seem to be orchestrated and not as spontaneous as I'd like. Review: Well I was totally impressed with the 1st edition of the private life of. Now the 2nd edition showcases the magnificent Silvia Saint. In this 2-Disc edition there is alot to shout about. In this edition there is a nice 50+ image photoshoot, and 8 extra scenes in 2nd disc, plus 10 more scenes in the 1st disc. Silvia Saint is one of the greatest porn stars ever to grace the screen. Some great scenes come from the following PRIVATE movies : The Academy, Call Girl, and Dangerous Things I & II. This disc is basically a compilation for Silvia's best & brightest work. A very good, Old West themed flick from Joe D'Amato and Sin City (1998), this one features far more sucking and fucking than plot, but it does make it to the point where Siffredi and his gang are on their way to take on the bad-guys. The sets, setting, costuming, and grit all feel authentic, and the cheesy English overdubs (presumably from the original Italian) only add to the spaghetti western flavor. Further, the sex is hot--with plenty of anal--and so are the actresses. All around, this one's a winner and will definitely appeal to fans of the Wild West and its harsh, though romanticized, way of life. [read the full review]

Rocco e i magnifici 7 Century If I was to suggest the whimsical western music that features throughout Rocco e I Magnifici 7 is actually more memorable than any of the action it accompanies, that might just give an indication of the quality of this spaghetti western. This really is a poor movie, blighted by dire direction, abysmal acting, desperate dubbing and execrable editing. The good It starts misleadingly well, with a montage of sepia-toned wanted posters introducing the cast, but when you notice that the number 7 has been somehow left off the title thats right, they have got the main title of the movie wrong - one gets the distinct impression that someone doesnt really care that much.
