The set contains Too Naughty to Say No, Hot and Saucy Pizza Girls, The Ribald Tales of Canterbury, Prisoner of Paradise, and Dixie Ray Hollywood Star. The films on the release span from 1978 to 1985 and, honestly, fans of golden age adult films should find several to their liking, even if not all of the films included are favorites. None of the films on this release have ever looked better on home video and 5 Films 5 Years Volume 1: Golden Age Erotica is definitely worth picking up before it is sold out. [read the full review]

Joe Sherman's 78 minute EXPOSE ME NOW (1982, VCX-Cal Vista Classic re-release, 2008) sticks to its nutty premise and never really looks back; it's a surprisingly solid xxx comedy with a good performance by Ron Jeremy but numerous sex scenes with the lovely blonde Danielle boost the sexual energy up a few notches. Irresistible is a fun film from the early 80s that never takes itself to seriously. The story is cheesy and some of the props are lacking, but the film makes for a fun watch. Unfortunately, this version from VCX has been heavily cut, for seemingly no good reason, which has removed part of the story from the film and most of the point behind it. If you've never seen the film, you probably won't notice the edits, but if you have, you're sure to notice something is missing. The transfer isn't the best, but it's better than many other releases from VCX. If you are a fan of the classics and don't mind having an edited version of the film, this disc is worth picking up, but I'd wait for it to be on sale. [read the full review]
