It's a come-one, fuck-all affair when the spunky, blonde spitfire, Tianna, catches her boyfriend, Derek Lane, pounding out the insanely gorgeous Vivid Girl of yesteryear, Racquel Darrian, in "Intimate Journey". A very good release from Vivid and Paul Thomas, this 1993 flick features Ms. Darrian at the pinnacle of her illustrious career and looking absolutely amazing. Her presence alone would make this one worth a look, let alone the fact that Tianna and Leena both put forth strong performances, as well, and the sex is generally off the charts. This is my DVD pick for seeing Racquel Darrian looking her hottest. The former Penthouse Pet lights it up in several scenes that will have you wearing out your freeze frame button on your remote. The best scene involves Racquel, Tianna and Derrick Lane. It opens up with Racquel and Derrick striping down and Racquel giving Derrick a blow job. The scene moves to the couch, which is where it really picks up. Derrick moves up top as Racquel gets tucked in between his legs and proceeds to go down on his balls, licking them and jacking him off. She then gets on top and he gives her a good fucking. Its hot. After a while, Tianna walks in on the action. Apparently, Derrick is taken, so the two girls share some seething looks as Tianna gets her say. However, Tiana still likes what she sees and starts to make advances towards sexy Racquel. Tianna is a short haired blond (not unlike the Sharon Stone cut from a few years ago.) In the last review, I complained about the lack of a good plot and a lack of really good action. Not so in this one. It doesn't pretend to have a plot at all. In fact, there's almost zero dialogue. There's a house. There's men, and there's women. In and around the house, they have sex. It doesn't get much more cut and dried than that, friends. The action carries the flick, and the action is great, with all the stops being pulled out. The first scene demonstrates that, with Racquel, Derrick Lane and Tianna all going at it, finishing with Racquel using a strapon on Tianna. In a bit of a cheesy bit, Tianna inquires if Racquel would go for an anal with Derrick. Racquel considers it as we fade out to...more sex. That set the tone for the entire movie, with multiple scenes going on at once in and around the house. No dialogue, no plot, nothing but sex, sex, and more sex. And it works. The second DVD I bought, and the first one from big name Vivid. Right off, you notice the difference between this DVD and one from a smaller company like VXI - tons and tons of extra features. Even the quality on the DVD is higher, a direct result of Vivid's production values. Multiple angles show off the advancement of the DVD technology, as you can switch to different views of the action. We'll start with the good points - the women look great in this video, especially Kobe Tai, the star of the flick, and the beautiful Deva, especially when they engage in the final and hottest scene of the video. The dancing between Deva and Jacklyn Lick is also tremendous, and even better, this scene features multiple angles. Ever wanted to see a lapdance from a different angle? Go right ahead. It's fun! Especially since I usually watch more hardcore films. However they do have some titles that are rather appealing. This is how I came to see this movie (the cover was enough to do the trick), but the cast is also another point in my decision to pick this one up. CAST: Nikki Tyler,Stacy Valentine,Jon Dough,Mark Davis,Mitchell Gant,Tom Bryon,and Vince Vouyer VIDEO/AUDIO: The video is full frame and is a decent transfer. There is a fair amount of grain, but it is better than a vhs..lol. The audio is okay however you can hear some background noise, for instance dogs are barking and they are quite noticeable. THEMES: Condoms,Anal,Rimming(b/g,g/g),Oral FILM: (oh Im not that familiar with the male cast, so they go mostly un-named) Nikki Tyler is a really hot blonde that I have always enjoyed looking at. and this is the first time watching her in action. I was very disappointed in this DVD. I was expecting crisp clear video and audio. It looked more like a 70s VHS porn. I paid 22.50 for this PoS. Stuff happens. Besides all the bad stuff there are a few funny parts in the movie. "Anger" and this one "Intel Sex Video" Clip #3, this girls are messin around with each in this locker room. Some old man is in the corner watching them, this goes on for about a minute and a half. Then out of no where it cuts to the old man shootin a load on one of the girls back. While all of this is happening "happy" music is playing in the background as in music that would be played when someone just found their long lost brother or someone died. [read the full review]

Background: Janine owns a night club where Asia plays the piano and Dyanna sings. Asia really plays the piano here, so you get to see her other talents besides sucking and fucking. Jenna is the new girl in town who is trying to get to know people. Christy Canyon is a record executives and Julia Ann is her Assistant. The plot deals with Asia and Dyanna trying to get a record contract from Christy, but in their quest for fame, their relationship is almost ruined. However, Vivid has done a horrible job with their DVD release of Bad Wives by using what they are calling the director's cut of the film that has excised more of the film then is included on the disc. The result is an absolute hack job that barely even resembles the original film. Vivid promised a Collector's Edition release of the movie with the uncut movie on it over a decade ago that never materialized. Sadly, this reviewer can't recommend this hack job of a modern classic. Unfortunately I did not read andyblake's review before purchasing. I had rented the VHS video and it was fantastic 4.5 stars with outstanding scenes from Tricia Devereaux(love the glasses) and Missy. So I had purchased the DVD for a permanent copy expecting better picture and sound. What VIVID did to the DVD is just wrong. To get their multiangle shots they just cut up the scene. None of the angles are the original full scene. Let me keep this simple. DO NOT BUY THE DVD. By all means get the VHS copy, it was great. Message to VIVID You have permanently lost a customer. I will never purchase/rent a VIVID DVD in the future. Multiangle must have the original scene intact on angle 1, other angles can be used if additional footage is available. [read the full review]

In particular, a number of non-sex parts dragged out and I thought the ending was a disappointment (but I wont spoil it).
