An epic tale from director Michael Ninn that has undergone quite a unique journey to finally being released some four plus years after being shot. The story is tied closely to the storyline witnessed in the movie 300 and here we put the focus on four Spartan women who go off on a journey to avenge their fallen heroes and their King. This movie is sweeping in its scope featuring great sets/ costumes/ makeup and the music too was used so well in telling the story. There is a great use of water here, lots of white, the clothing styles varied too from scene to scene.
