Fallen Angels (Alpha Blue Archives) review summaries:
fu_q's
While held in disdain as a selectively-edited hatchet job against the adult film industry by some insiders, 1985''s "Fallen Angels" nevertheless provides an interesting, contemporaneous behind-the-scenes look at the skin flick world of the mid-1980''s. Re-released digitally by Alpha Blue Archives and streaming on AdultEmpire.com''s Unlimited service, this film largely focuses upon a trio of porn starlets new to the industry (Kristara Barrington, Lisa Lake, and a short-termer named Kim), interviewing them (and, where applicable, their boyfriends) at various points over a several month period. From a charismatic and delusional, escaped mental patient and pimp (Rip Hymen) who's obsessed with keeping his colon full of shit (literally) to silver-clad, anus-inhabiting invaders from another planet, it's safe to say that "Between the Cheeks 2" is fucking bizarre. [read the full review]

The Dark Brothers strike again with one of the series they made famous. Of course this movie revolves around anal sex, but there's more than just that here. There could even be aliens trying to suck people's souls out of their colon. Yes, the movie is that fun and creative, but the sex doesn't quite make it past the average level due to the scenes being a bit short and choppy. The technical aspects are very nice for the age of the movie, but unfortunately there's no effort put into the extras. This is a nice movie, and it's too bad that LFP / VCA didn't feel like putting any real effort into the release. [read the full review]

Creasemaster, The review summaries:

All bets are off when a chance glimpse of a neighbor''s pussy changes a humdrum insurance salesman, Jonathan Morgan, from a normal, everyday dude into a raving, vagina-crazed lunatic. Indeed, Morgan''s transformation is almost instantaneous, as his obsession with the "crease" fuels his every action, quickly taking over his relationships with his friends and his wife, Tiffany Million, and ultimately leading him down a dark and demented path. So goes "The Creasemaster", an exceptional 1993 release from director Greg Dark and VCA. [read the full review]

New Wave Hookers 4 review summaries:
fu_q's
A magical, hooker-collecting dwarf who's caught between at least two realities, one that he controls and one (or more) that he doesn't, finds himself splitting his time between the various realms as he rambles on and on about prostitutes, women, and the meaning of life whilst talking to himself in front of a mirror at the insane asylum. Such is the case (...as best as I can discern...) in "New Wave Hookers 4", an exceptional, 1994 release from VCA and director Greg Dark. [read the full review]

New Wave Hookers 3 review summaries:
fu_q's
Hot, raw, and gritty, director Greg Dark delivers the dirty deeds in "New Wave Hookers 3", the third of its fabled line. An exceptional 1993 release from VCA and the master auteur, this flick offers up the finest of filth and fornication in true Dark style. Featuring Jon Dough and Crystal Wilder as a down-on-their-luck couple relegated to living in a beat-up shack of a home and surviving on dog food, Dough recognizes that his wife''s talent for giving blowjobs could easily be monetized...and raise them out of poverty. The problem? Wilder''s reluctance. "Fortunately" (or not?) for Jon, a rich, maniacal pimp/scientist (Tiffany Million) has a song to remedy that... [read the full review]

Description Hard sex with surreal set-ups, compiled from several Gregory Dark films. General Impression I was actually kind of blown away. I had a dislike of the surreal work of another director, so had wincingly decided to have a look at Gregory Dark. Bingo! Dark's quirky wanderings don't detract from the intense sex. And I have to admit that a couple of his oddities showed up nicely in my later fantasies, though others were not for me. Clearly Dark has a fascination for issues of sluttiness and evil -- I'm thinking it's tongue-in-cheek. Still, it's there for whatever play it might get in your psyche. Another of his issues is power, control, and surrender. Those are pretty hard to really bring onscreen, but he does a great job of starting things rolling around in the mind. Sex Chloe is first interviewed by Greg Dark - and she gives thoughtful, solemn answers to his questions about such things as whether she has ever purposely hurt herself, and the meaning for her of pain in sex. She speaks of fisting, and the role of endurance and mental focus involved. [read the full review]

The road to Hell may be paved with good intentions, but it's an all-out, freak-filled fuck-fest once you get there, at least that's if the diabolical director of the dirty, Greg Dark, is to be believed. Such is the case in his two-part classic series from 1986 and VCA, "The Devil in Miss Jones 3 and 4", that finds the gorgeous, blonde punk porner and AVN Hall-of-Famer, Lois Ayres (as the seemingly timid and troubled "Justine Jones"), slamming her head into the wall whilst out revenge-fucking and then ending up in the perverted pits of Hell. To my surprise and delight, DMJ 3 and DMJ 4 are in fact one film. While titled as sequels to Damiano's 1973 masterpiece, DMJ 3 /4 is closer to a remake, or even more appropriately, a re-telling of Damiano's tale. In fact, besides the name of the heroine and the film itself, as well as the basic premise of a woman dying and ending up in Hell, this film has no similarities to either of the earlier two entries in the series. VCA has collected Devil in Miss Jones 3: A New Beginning and Devil in Miss Jones 4: The Final Outrage together for this set which makes sense since the two films are actually one film split in half. Gregory Dark's set of two films is very different than Gerard Damiano's original film and are very much a product of the 80s in their visual stylings. The two films are well done and definately worth seeing. VCA has done a good job with their release of the two films on this set with good video despite lacking extras. [read the full review]

It's 80s punk-kink to the max when the lovely ladies of Jamie Gillis' and Jack Baker's freaky escort agency don their headphones and take in the intoxicating tunes of their new wave music. With the sexy sounds both impairing their judgment and overriding their inhibitions, these young women can (and will) do just about anything...and their assorted customers are most certainly the winners. Such is the case in the Dark Brothers' classic production, "New Wave Hookers", from VCA Pictures. [read the full review]

The Dark Brothers' "New Wave Hookers" was an original (before the numerous sequels), hot, hilarious movie upon its release in 1985 and some, but not all of those elements hold up today. The story involves two slackers, Jimmy (Jamie Gillis) and Jamal (Jack Baker), who spend their time drinking beer and watching porn videos. As the movie begins, Jimmy tells Jamal they should become pimps and open an escort service, New Wave Hookers, where the girls would fuck to new wave music. They soon fall asleep, where they are transported into another world: They now run New Wave Hookers Incorporated and have a "dog" (Steve Powers), who telepathically receives phone calls. Their first girl is Candy (Desiree Lane), who skates into their office. Jimmy and the "dog" try her out, while Jimmy watches and masturbates (Jack Baker was actually a legitimate actor, playing Sticks on "Happy Days", and his sexual acts are limited to self-gratification and oral sex). Next Brooke Fields and Kimberly Carson visit a barely recognizable Peter North, who lives in a tent. [read the full review]

New Wave Hookers is not a film for everyone and will probably not be enjoyed by the average raincoater crowd. For viewers that like an adult film where the plot is important for the film and the sex fits into the film, this might be the film for you. Bear in mind though when selecting this film that the film is weird, purposely so, and if that is not your thing, you'll want to pass on this film. [read the full review]
