The plot has issues though, mostly trying to do so much in such a short time that what is here gets too watered down. Classic X Collection has only included the softcore version of Beach Blanket Bango on this release which has more plot than the hardcore version but the hardcore sex is poorly chopped out. The release itself has issues with a low quality transfer.

Review brief: A beautiful, middle-aged writer (Kay Parker) plays with fire when she sets out to interview a well-known, down-and-dirty private investigator (Paul Thomas) and ends up getting herself oh so sweetly burned in "The Untamed". A very good, 1979 release from director Ramsey Karson and VCX, this production consists of five steamy sexual encounters recounted by Thomas as part of an interview, all of which lead up to the ultimate seduction of his enchanting questioner at his apartment.

Review brief: My track record with Airerose has been kind of meh overall. A few technical stuff ruined some for me, but I always hope that things will improve as more movies come out. With this series, I was sort of going into this particular volume in the hopes of enjoying some Piper and Sydney, but as I stated in the review, I really think Amara really shined in this one. I am pretty sure I have another installment of this series in my pile to review, so we shall see how things are going after that one as well.

Review brief: Things go from bad to worse for a young woman--the blonde stunner of porno yesteryear, Jean Jennings--when she's committed by her parents to an insane asylum upon being discovered doing drugs with a friend. After finding nothing but rape and torment in the loony bin (...driving her to near insanity in and of itself...), she ultimately winds up in the clutches of a sick, sexual cult run by an evil, perverted "doctor". Clearly, her situation fails to improve, and whether she'll eventually escape--or whether she'll even want to--remains anyone's guess, as the brainwashing and "awakening" proceed. Such is the case in "Defiance of Good", a very good, plot-driven, mid-1970s flick from Armand Weston and VCX.
