What can be said about Shauna Grant? A young starlet from Minnesota who took the industry by storm in the early 1980's, it was her untimely passing, apparently at her own hands, that truly rocked the porn world and beyond. Indeed, her life became the subject of a made-for-TV movie, a documentary, news pieces and articles, and so on. Clearly, her situation ended in tragedy, and it shouldn't be forgotten. Still, Ms. Grant did make a number of adult films that can serve as a fine way for her fans to remember the blonde beauty of yesteryear. Herein, I review one of them, a mini- (very mini-) compilation actually, "The Golden Age of Porn: Shauna Grant", from Gentlemen's Video. I'll first start off with the good. Shauna looks stunning in all three of her scenes in this release, and the sex, while generally sensual, still remains hot and presents her in a good light. That's a plus. There's also some interview footage included, as well, with both Ms. Grant and Jamie Gillis being questioned by Bobby Hollander. Hearing the lovely Shauna's thoughts on matters is a further plus, though this interview isn't as good or as deep as the one found in "Shauna Grant: The Early Years", another compilation that I recently reviewed. Now for the bad. Clocking in at less than an hour, this production features but three scenes. Two of them are longer, and one is notably shorter. They're all good, but the paltry amount is almost guaranteed to leave many viewers feeling fleeced, particularly if they're purchasing this instead of merely watching it on an unlimited streaming service. Still, true fans of Shauna will likely enjoy this one--despite its short length...and especially if they're not paying for it individually--but everyone else is probably going to want to take a pass and find some of her meatier releases and/or comps to get their fix.
In terms of the sex, Scene One brings together Shauna and her then-boyfriend, Jamie Gillis, making love on a blue background after an interview with Bobby Hollander. She looks stunning--as always--in her white lingerie and even more stunning out of it. A sensual oral and vaginal affair follows and culminates in Jamie jacking off on her whilst straddling her chest. In Scene Two, Shauna flips out over some dirty photos that her father, Paul Thomas, has taken at a local swing club, only to ultimately find herself in his arms and fucking him. While flipping through the pics, they come to life in Shauna's mind, with PT briefly banging the various girls. Regardless, she gets over it all fairly quickly after he explains himself, and the mutual seduction is on. Shauna again looks amazing, and it's no wonder that daddy dearest falls for her (oral, vaginal). Scene Three finds Shauna as a phone operator whose bad advice has caused Joey Silvera enough problems to show up at the phone company looking for revenge. Of course, one instant of laying his eyes upon her, and he's immediately smitten. Likewise, she's quickly attracted to him, and the two go at it right there in the waiting room. A quick vaginal fucking unfolds, with Joey unloading on her backside, followed by a cut, further fucking, and some dick sucking. The film then abruptly ends. Hot stuff...what there is of it. RIP, Shauna.
