Review brief: IVE BEEN SODOMIZED Ive been sodomized. No not a confession on my part, but the title of yet another anal themed series from RLD. This is the first title Ive seen from performer turned director Mark Wood, and with a strong cast including Sativa Rose, Jasmine Tame, Rebecca Linares and cover girl Annette Schwartz I had high hopes for this one. So as pornography it is a failure, but as a gross out, B-movie it succeeds.

It is still a dvd with its ups and downs, heh heh. The women are all sexy. The performances are good compared with most euro films. The audio and video quality is good, and more importantly consistent. There are also 10 scenes, which don't appear to have been shortened in any way. Now for the downsides. The camera work seems a bit overly simple or amatuerish. I generally like simple camera work but here the angles could generally be better and the camera is often zoomed in too close or too far. It seems like they have a single focal length lense. Some of the editing is weird as well, switching back and forth between positions or angles in a way that makes you think they filmed each angle or position separately and edited them together for more variation. The scenes are also very long, another thing I usually like but here it led to some boredom.

All of the women are hot as well. The scenes are all very well paced and just the right length. Some of the sexual themes are a bit hardcore, DPs etc., but the performances make these sections enjoyable even for people who aren't into the harder elements. The only problem I had with the dvd was the music, which was louder than I would like.

In terms of his ability to successfully merge art and hardcore sex, Hamilton is number one. He takes the uber glamour and gloss of a Celeste or Andrew Blake film and mixes that with the all-sex qualities of a Tyrone Shuz flick. What we get in the end is a perfect balance of these components-- Hamilton's movies have the heat, they have the visual extravagance. Expozed is no exception, exhibiting the immeasurable beauty and passion of blonde bombshell Memphis Monroe, and no doubt about it, Memphis is the star here, with each of her scenes clearly standing above the rest. As good as it all is, I still wonder about the untapped potential of this director.

Im rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also arent normally the glamour stars one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as its often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesnt have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. Review brief: I never thought a 2-hour porn move could take so long until watching Latinos in the House Volume 5. Whereas most of these type films are done in Brazil or some other South American country, this one is shot in Guadalajara. It contains 4 scenes lasting almost 30 minutes each with a cast of 8 twinks. You will not want to pop this one in the DVD player while in bed or else you might fall asleep. I've never seen nor heard of this girl prior to this but wow, is she breathtaking. Review brief: On MELROSE PLACE there was one token gay guy. On WET PALMS, a show that seems suggestive of the former, there are no token straights. This is not the first gay soap. It seems like they have a single focal length lense. Some of the editing is weird as well, switching back and forth between positions or angles in a way that makes you think they filmed each angle or position separately and edited them together for more variation. The scenes are also very long, another thing I usually like but here it led to some boredom.
