Initial Expectations: The little I've seen from Big Top hasn't been too impressive. I'm not sure why I was drawn to this one, but I just had to give it a chance.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects don't even come close to an average level. The audio has frequent background noises, balance problems, and a some hollow spots. The video is presented in the full frame format and looks about like a second or third generation VHS copy. The lighting is inconsistent from scene to scene and there's some slow motion effects that interfere with the action. This is a poor looking and sounding movie.

Music: There's some cheesy porno music in the background throughout the movie.

Disc Complaints: To call the authoring on this DVD “poor” should probably be considered a compliment. To start with there's no time stamp, which makes disc navigation difficult to start, and then there's only one chapter per scene with the scenes averaging over twenty minutes each. There's only one title on the DVD, so everything on the DVD is just one chapter after another. This is a hard to navigate DVD that barely shows any care.

Menus: The main menu is okay at best, and blends the chapter, a low quality still, and a tinted clip of the movie in the background. The chapter menu is very generic, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene.

The Feature

Pumpin' Plumpers 2 keeps things simple. Each scene has a guy taking on a woman with a full figure. I'm not talking fat here, as only one of the girls has some rolls, but girls that look like they actually know how to eat a full meal rather than living on side salads without the dressing.

Scene 1 – Dawn Phoenix and Michael J. Cox

Michael starts things out looking a bit geeky and stopping to offer dirty blonde Dawn, who's looking mighty hot in a studded black sleeveless dress, stockings, and strappy porno pumps, a ride before letting her knew that he's a fashion photographer and would love to shoot her. They chat in the car a bit before heading into a building where he has a small studio that screams porn with fake walls and a bed. As she poses he has her show a little leg and some tit, which he can't resist giving a few kisses to perk up for the camera. She gives his nipple a little attention in return after chatting with him, which causes Michael to go down under and work on her pussy with his tongue and fingers. Dawn works his cock out of his pants to start sucking as Michael works on her undercarriage before he helps strip her down and lays her back to fuck her big fat tits. He moves back down to lick and finger her slit before fucking her missionary style. Dawn also let shim take her from behind so he can slap her ass and pull her hair a bit before riding him in both cowgirls so he can suck her tits a bit as they fuck. They return to missionary for a little more fucking before Michael comes up and shoots a small load over her tits.

This is a pretty good scene. Although Dawn has huge tits she's far from being a plumper, and instead looks like a natural woman. There's a fun feeling through the setup that leads to some nice chemistry between Dawn and Michael, and there's some nice smiles here and there as they work each other over. The camera work leaves a bit to be desired at times due to some slow motion video, but for most of the scene it's just slightly above average. This scene started the movie off nicely for me once I got past scratching my head wondering how Dawn was a plumper. This is easily the best scene in the movie.

Scene 2 – Brandi and a guy

Bottle blonde Brandi starts her scene out on a bed with a guy and wearing a red outfit with some nude stockings. They move up to kiss and play with each other a bit as they help each other strip down before the guy lays back for Brandi to suck his cock while giving him some great eyes. She sits up so he can kiss her on the mouth and tits before she lies back and lets him lick her a little. They even sixty-nine a bit before he fucks her missionary style, and he lets her suck his cock a couple times and sixty-nines her again before fucking her doggie style. The also get in a bit more missionary fucking before the guy fucks Brandi's tits and pops on them.

This scene didn't make it to the average level. There's some very nice chemistry between Brandi and the guy, but there was also a frequent feeling of wood problems. There's a lot of editing cuts and although I liked having a bit of oral mixed back in, it was large enough to feel like it was there for much more than to just break things up. The positions are also very limited and the camera work leaves a bit to be desired. Brandi had a bit of potential, but she was the only one involved in the scene who seemed to have much. This scene comes in as the worst of the three scenes in the movie.

Scene 3 – Charlotte and a guy

The guy from the second scene returns to kiss short haired redhead Charlotte, who looks to be wearing the same outfit that Brandi had on in the last scene, for the final scene on the set from the opening scene. She quickly moves down to start sucking his cock with a quick break to lose her top. The guy licks her pussy in return before fucking her from behind and letting her ride him cowgirl style while he plays with her ass. He keeps playing with her ass as they sixty-nine before fucking it doggie style. They work in a bit more oral, as well as more doggie and missionary fucking with the camera never really letting you see where Charlotte's getting fucked before they finish things up with a very nice facial.

This is an okay scene. Once again there's very good chemistry between the guy and Charlotte, and the anal made for a very nice addition to the scene. The scene moves along pretty well, but once again the oral seemed a touch much and like it was covering things up for the guy a bit. Thankfully he delivers a very nice pop at the end to help redeem himself. This is another decent scene.

Pumpin' Plumpers 2 had the potential to be a smokin' hot fuck flick. There's great chemistry in each of the scenes and I really liked the build for the girls. These aren't the girls who take up two seats in the theater without noticing the armrest that often appear in “pumper” movies, but instead look like real women. Some of them have a small belly, but none of them are what I'd call really fat. The problem with the movie is most everything else. The guy in the last two scenes seems to have some wood problems, and the camera work isn't the best. The entire movie is plagued with audio problems, and although I realize that this is an older and cheaper movie, I'm not sure there was enough budget here to allow the girls to share a small bag of chips and a glass of tap water after the shoots. Finally, the movie isn't even an hour and a quarter long. I could maybe understand this as the original release with an “oops” afterwards, but there's no reason this movie shouldn't have been released as half of a double feature on DVD. Pumpin' Plumpers 2 has some potential, but there isn't enough skill around the production to make use of it.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about three minutes with about five seconds per okay screen capture. A Busty Bio lasts nearly twelve minutes, and gives a bio of Big Top and its founder, Sam Xavier. It’s an interesting featurette, especially if you’re a fan of Big Top and interested in a bit of recent history about the adult industry. There’s also website information, cumshot recaps, Big Tit Bonanza (a six minute clip filled with titties), and over forty minutes of trailers.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Big Top’s DVDs can be found online for between about $13 and $27 with several stores offering them for under $15. I’d strongly suggest renting this one first. There's some okay sex here, but the technical aspects leave plenty to be desired and the extras are very generic. There's no way I can recommend anybody pay that kind of money for a DVD with this little care put into it.

Note to Big Top: Please take a look at some of what your competition is doing, and more importantly at what some of the big companies are doing. You have some potential with your product, but the shitty way you're treating it isn't going to win anybody over.
