Review brief: Undertow is a better than average porn flick. It features something rare indeed for the jizz biz good acting and a decent plot. Unfortunately, the cast doesnt put as much work into the sex as they do into their dialogue. Steven St. Croix, arguably the best actor in the industry today, is host of an underground TV show titles Thrill Kill Zone. The show deals with street racers. Because of his involvement in that sport, he is recruited by Dale DaBone to be an informant for the FBI as the agency tries to get the goods on Irish terrorist Evan Stone, who is also involved in the illegal races. This may be the first porn movie in history to include not one, but two, sword fights on a beach. No, not those kind of swords; real Japanese fighting swords. Theres pretty good editing as Evan and Steven battle on the sand and look convincing while doing it. But we watch porn for sex, and there just isnt enough heat among the performers to make it very interesting.

Review brief: Barely 18 #11 is barely watchable. Five vignettes featuring average girls and stale, unexciting sex. I guess this passes for porn these days, but its a sad commentary on the industry. Blond Heather Gables is first, and she takes on Van Damage in 14 minutes of professional fucking. Not a iota of legitimate pleasure crosses her face as she goes through the motions. She takes an open mouth plastering. Marie Luv is an attractive ebony girl with a slim, natural body. Talon does her in a variety of positions and dumps his load on her waiting tongue. In a storyline as old as porn itself, Lisa Marie gets it on with poolboy Lee Stone. Lisa is a semi-cute blonde with a tailbone tat. Again, theres not much emotion exhibited by either performer until Lee ends our misery with a facial. She provides a little cleanup. Nikki Loren is an average brunette with some visible stretch marks. She and Sasha romp in a bathroom, going through the standard position changes before a facial sends this scene down the drain. Review brief: Midnight Caller follows a standard porn scenario: a radio talk show hostess listens to her callers sexual problems as they are acted out on the screen. Lauren Phoenix is the hostess, and her audience is filled with some attractive girls doing some not-so-nasty things. Rose (original name!) is first, and she does Dick Smothers Jr. (isnt that sacrilegious?) in a scene that Id hang up on if I were Lauren. Boring sex ending in a tit pop shot. Review brief: Aurora Snows Perverted Tales is a fun porno that, were it not for all the anal sex, might be good for couples as well as strokers. You know youre not watching standard porn fare from the opening credits. Perpetually cute Aurora sits in a chair and literally blows the stars names from her hand to the screen. Very cool special effect. Aurora is dressed like Little Red Riding Hood in the first scene. She comes across Flick Shagwell in the forest. Flick is dressed like a bunny rabbit. They pull a tag team fuck on Mr. Pete, who plays an Elmer Fudd-type hunter. Review brief: Babewatch #4 should have been titled Babe un-watch, as this is a terrible movie with less passion and heat than understandable plot lines. As the dialogue and script leave so much to be desired, what follows is simply a scene breakdown. J.R. Carrington, Marilyn Star, Buck Adams, Alex Metro Jordan St. James, Bobby Vitale Amber Lynn, Abbey Gale (billed as April) Holly Body, Shawn Ricks Abbey Gale, Buck Adams This is, of course, a takeoff of the old TV series Baywatch. The girls run around in skimpy bathing suits, but there the similarities end. None of the girls look able to swim ten yards, let alone save someone from drowning. And Buck Adams will never make anyone forget David Hasselhoff. The acting is plentiful and crappy.

Review brief: Try to resist Irresistible if you wish. But the name says it all. This is a pretty good porno with plenty of hot sex. Overlook the convoluted plot and typical bad acting (get new batteries for your remote) and this is darn good stuff from director Nic Cramer and Sin City! Forget the plot; it just gets in the way of the sex. We start out in a bar with Kristina Black, a great looking brunette, on her knees in front of Chris Cannon. She gives an enthusiastic hummer in a scene that suffers only from some too-fancy camerawork (long shot of the shadows). Black knows how to work over a dick, and she has Cannon cumming in about eight minutes on her face. She swallows his load, then licks and sucks his cock for clean-up. Turns out that scene was all in the mind of fledgling writer Joey Ray. That night he fantasizes about diddling his house guest, Kitty Marie. A small gap between her front teeth does nothing to detract from this cuties looks. They do a spirited romp on a bed with only the light of the moon illuminating the proceedings.

Review brief: Angel Baby is a look into the life of five working girls in a brothel. Make that four working girls, plus Christina Angel (her character name is Angel also), who hasnt turned pro yet because older sister Jeanna Fine (one of my all-time favs) wont permit it. Apparently, however, Angel is allowed to live at the house because shes always hanging around. The movie opens with the girls celebrating Angels 19th birthday. Soon, the festivities are interrupted by a customer, Tony Tedeschi. Tony asks for Angel, but is rebuffed by the overprotective Fine. He settles for Christina (Kristina) West, not a bad second round draft choice. They screw, including an anal, and a pop shot on the cute blondes pubes. The next customer to walk in, Alex Sanders, wants to watch Fine (post boob job) and cute Laura Palmer (the madam of the house) lez out for a while. But he can only watch briefly before jumping in and getting some action for himself.
