Review brief: Axel Braun strikes geek gold in his new flick, "Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody", a top-notch production from Vivid that parodies the classic sci-fi epic of a similar title. Given the generation-defining nature of its source material, Mr. Braun has a lot to live up to with this one and, in all honesty, is taking something of a risk. Fortunately for everyone involved (including the viewer), he succeeds with flying colors...and what results is a stellar production that is true to the theme and storyline of the original, as well as being funny, clever, and sexy all at the same time. Indeed, this release will no doubt fuel the spank-time fantasies of both the dedicated and casual Star Wars fan-boys alike. Yes...it's that good.

Review brief: It's all about zany gags and steamy sex in "Pee Wee's XXX Adventure", a very good production from B. Skow, David Stanley, and Vivid that parodies the mainstream title of a similar name. In all honesty, I wasn't sure what to expect when I popped this one into the DVD player. Whose thoughts are really on sex when they think of Pee Wee? Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised. Tommy Pistol plays the Pee Wee character to near perfection, Capri Anderson is in top form, and Evan Stone cleans up in all of his varied roles. In essence, what's presented is a version of the movie in which all of the antics have been transformed into sexualized caricatures of themselves. The result is a clever, fun, and bizarre trip that also stays true to the flavor and plot of the original...all the while throwing in a good deal of hot boinking.

Review brief: "Savanna Samson Stripped" is a very good (strong 4-star) release from B. Skow and Vivid that showcases former (and long-time) contract performer, Savanna Samson. Savanna's in top-form in all three of her sequences here, which include two vaginal encounters and one anal romp. Also presented are one scene apiece from tattooed and cool Juelz Ventura, barely-legal-type Delila Darling, and superstar Tori Black. In all, the sex never drops below the "very good" level in terms of its heat, and--about half of the time--it rises above it. The best segment on the disc belongs to Tori--who's popular for more than just her looks--but they're all worthy of checking out.

Review brief: "Raven Alexis -- Unleashed" is an exceptional production from B. Skow and Vivid that features none other than the awesome Raven Alexis. Not only are there two scenes with Ms. Alexis, but the always-attractive Breanne Benson rocks a couple of her own, as well. Rounding out the female cast are Jessi Palmer and Danica Dillon--who also put forth strong performances. Indeed, all of the sex in this release is at the excellent level or better, and the actors and actresses truly deliver the heat. Of course, one shouldn't fail to point out that the camerawork is top-notch, and the production values are strong...which are standard B. Skow hallmarks. So...without further ado, let's get into the action.

Review brief: "The 3 Way" is an exceptional production from Vivid and David Stanley that focuses on Skin Diamond and Asphyxia Noir as a married lesbian couple whose already-rocky relationship gets turned on its ear when Xander Corvus, Skin's long lost step-brother and past love interest, pops up. Adding further fuel to the fire is the presence of Xander's crazy ex-girlfriend (Brooklyn Lee) and Asphyxia's slimy ex-husband (Tommy Pistol). What ensues is a powder keg of conflicting emotions and physical attraction that ultimately explodes into a steamy burst of sexual energy. Of course, it's all captured on film for the enjoyment of the viewer, and--fortunately--things do conclude on a high note...but not before taking a rough ride through some dark territory.

Review brief: "Mr. Pete's POV" is an excellent production from Vivid and Mr. Pete that--spoiler alert!--features Mr. Pete as the male lead in all of the scenes. Also as something that may come as a shocker, most of the action is captured in a POV (point-of-view) style, which gives the viewer the impression that he's the one banging the girls. While not a huge fan of POV, I was pleasantly surprised by this release, as it's done quite well and involves a lot of nasty sex with an even nastier female cast. It's hard to go wrong with an experienced performer such as Mr. Pete at the helm...particularly when he has a host of ladies at his disposal that includes the likes of Juelz Ventura, Katie St. Ives, Briana Blair, and so on.

Of course, a few of the names on that list are far from "brand new" at this point, but the scenes themselves were purportedly of their first hardcore footage...so no worries there.

Review brief: A parade of hot flesh is on full display in "Teases and Pleases 2", an excellent production from Vivid and directors B. Skow, Mr. Pete, and Shylar Cobi. While all of the ladies throw down some hot fucking in this one, it's fairly safe to say that Lily LaBeau is the stand-out performer. Not only does she both lead off and close out the movie with her two scenes, but she also takes on a couple of gentlemen at once in the first and rocks the human monster that is Lee Stone in the last. Of course, having the likes of Alexis Texas, Charley Chase, Meggan Mallone, and Sara Jay rounding out the middle of the production certainly doesn't hurt, either. This is some good stuff.

There's Jada Stevens in a scorching interracial anal pounding, a three-girl lez-fest (partially shot underwater in a pool), another Allie boy-girl sequence that shouldn't be overlooked, and a steamy Tasha Reign encounter while her husband's out of town. Everything here is worthy.

Review brief: "SOS -- Sex on the Streets #1" is an off-the-chain production from Vivid and producer Axel Braun that puts forth some wild and crazy public sex. Unlike some titles that purport to feature such risque activity and then fail to deliver, this one is no bull-shit. Presented here is a plethora of thrilling, high-energy fucking--a good deal of which does indeed occur in very public places. This is especially true for the opening sequence featuring Tara Lynn Foxx and Criss Strokes. In all honesty, it's jaw-dropping, adrenaline-inducing material that will leave your heart pounding and your balls drained. The other sequences are no slouches, either, and have plenty of in-public antics, as well. In all, this release is really, truly something to behold. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Review brief: "Experience Required" is a very good production from director B. Skow and Vivid that stars former Vivid Girl, Savanna Samson. The focus in this one is on more mature women, which--in the world of porn--are those above the age of 30...in this case, those actually in their 30s. Each of the sequences starts off with the featured actress being interviewed by B. Skow and involves some stripping, teasing, and posing. These introductions often also involve multiple rooms and typically transition to a bit of masturbation on the ladies' parts prior to the male leads making their entrances and delivering the goods. While there are only four scenes, each of them is very good (or often better) as far as the sex goes, and the movie still clocks in at around 3 hours. All in all, this is another strong endeavor from B. Skow and company.

Review brief: "Spider-Man XXX" from Vivid is an exceptional parody of the popular comic book franchise of the same name. In this production, director Axel Braun and his hand-picked cast of adult stars do an excellent job of bringing to life the sexual sides of the web-slinger and his various associates and antagonists, all-the-while still managing to maintain the credibility of their overall characters. Indeed--and as is typical of parodies from Braun--painstaking attention has been paid to detail. From the sets to the costumes to the storyline and so on, everything works well here. Complementing all of this, the acting is strong, and the characters are believable--in a comic book sort of way. "What of the sex?", one might ask. No worries...it's generally smokin' hot, as well.

Review brief: "Kimberly Kane's Been Blackmaled" is an excellent production from director Kimberly Kane and Vivid that focuses on a variety of interracial encounters, most of which have a magical / supernatural theme. Along these lines, a dark-yet-erotic tone is effectively employed in establishing the moods for the various sequences. We find witchcraft, voodoo, and tribal magic all represented in this one, and each of these motifs is used as a means of framing the action--which, fortunately, turns out to be quite hot. Speaking of things that are hot, the Kimberly Kane interracial double-penetration (DP) by two dark-hued gentlemen in the final segment is definitely not to be missed...nor is most of the rest of the action, either.

In advancing the storyline, the production is tied together via Savanna discussing her life with her shrink, followed up by cuts to the relevant scenes. This mechanism works well in bringing the disc together, and--coupled with strong acting and realistic settings--it provides for a full feature experience. Of course, one doesn't watch such films simply for the plot elements--the sex needs to be strong, as well. Fortunately, it is.

Review brief: "Runaway" is an exceptional production from Vivid, B. Skow (the director), and David Stanley (the writer) that centers around Capri Anderson as a young woman who--after finding out that her mother (Lisa Ann) has lied to her about her father--goes on a quest to find him. Along the way, she encounters a prostitute-obsessed trucker (Tom Byron) who helps her out, and she narrowly escapes the clutches of her bizarre and perverted mother's boyfriend (Barry Scott). There are more twists (and kinks) in the plot of this one than there are turns in Lombardi Street...but, fortunately, the storyline remains both coherent and strong throughout. Of course, an adult film cannot simply live on plot elements alone...and this one is no exception...as the sex is also excellent and well-captured. This is most definitely a worthy release.

Review brief: "Spread Eagle" is an exceptional and comical feature from B. Skow (the director), David Stanley (the writer), and Vivid that features Tommy Gunn as a superhero known as Spread Eagle. Tommy becomes Spread Eagle after a criminal shoots him and his girlfriend (Asa Akira) in an alleyway after an attempted rape gone awry. Fortunately for Tommy, an eagle descends from the sky and not only saves him but also gives him the ability to grow claws, a beak, and wings. With this, Tommy is able to fly, and he also gains a head-splattering shriek that he can use to finish off his opponents. One nice thing about this production is that its storyline--which is strong for an adult film--doesn't take itself too seriously. For instance, Tommy's beak squeaks when it's pushed or bumps up against something, and a lot of the goings-on appear to intentionally parody the whole superhero genre. Also very fortunate--and of utmost importance--for this release is the top-notch cast and the white-hot sex.

Of course, as one might judge from the title, the scandal itself--particularly the purported text messages aspect of the whole affair--is the obvious focus of the storyline.

Centered around Capri's obsession with Johnny Sins' character and also a black notebook that brings to life whatever is written down in it, this film delivers in terms of both its plot--which is fairly good for an adult film--and in terms of its sex--which is typically very good or better, as well. It's also nice to see that Vivid hasn't entirely forsaken the notion of having Vivid Girls.

In enacting this plot device, each sequence has its own mini-storyline and features a different twist on the general theme. The realistic settings and solid camerawork also add to the overall flavor of the production. Of course, in order for it all to come together as an adult film, the sex has to be hot, as well--which it most definitely is.
