I dont know why, but much of the stuff out there by the big studios (Private, Wicked etc) just come across as fake when dealing with the subject of lesbian sex, whereas Viv Thomas somehow manages to get it right. Having watched one of his other films, the acclaimed Pink Velvet, I understood and was excited about what was on offer here, especially with the theme of secretaries and office workers, with a trailer more than wetting my appetite (and other places). That is where director Viv Thomas comes in, as he has become renowned as the guy that knows just how to do girl on girl action. I have always liked lesbian scenes, but always felt short changed, especially in films from Private, who fail to convince, at least in that respect, but make up for things by at least having absolutely stunning women doing the scene. Although not as widely known as other films from the golden age of porn such as Insatiable, The Devil In Miss Jones or Deep throat, this one remains special for me as it was one of those porn films I had seen on an old frequently copied VHS years ago, and when I heard it was available on DVD, nostalgia kicked in. The plot, if you can call it that is very basic, following the story of various people in or around a secluded holiday cabin location who are inspired into various carnal activities when exposed to white satin sheets. I remember the version I originally watched was called Satin Sheets, and as you can probably imagine, for a guy of sixteen or so, it was like Id discovered the lost treasure of the Aztecs.

For me when I first saw films like this, they were normally passed to me on very low quality VHS, sometimes with no sound, or a picture so bad it was almost unwatchable. Porn back then was the holy grail. It was next to impossible to widely obtain (at least here in the UK) and just seeing real sex was amazing. Now it is different. Hardcore for one, is legal in the UK. Porn is now on DVD and the picture quality is never an issue (at least by no means the issue it was) and also, such beautiful women are ready and willing to shed their inhibitions for your viewing enjoyment.
