Review brief: Pre-Viewing Expectations What guy, in the unlikely event of being pent up in a hospital, hasn't fantasized about a sexy nurse coming into their room and doing a bit of (to borrow from the song) Sexual Healing? Does "Sexy Nurses On and Off Duty" fullfil this fantasy? About the only thing the case says on this one is that the nurses will make sure you are sexually healthy whether or not they are on duty. It does point out that this is from their "Classic Collection" meaning it has been digitally remastered and re-released on DVD format. The Main Event The first scene opens with a nurse saying it is 10 midnight and she's waiting for four doctors to join her in the room. She's wearing a white outfit, and the typical white hat with the red cross sybol on it. Do nurses even wear such hats anymore? Soon enough, the four guys enter, already nude. Glad I don't see nude doctors walking around the halls when I'm unfortunate enough to be at the hospital.

Review brief: Pre-Viewing Expectations I'm not expecting a traditional skin flick with this feature. It should be more of a tutorial layout, with some demonstrations of the use of toys. The Main Event The movie opens with a monologue by Tina Hartley describing several class of toys, such as vibrating, penetrative toys, tactile toys, sensory depravation toys, and constrictive toys. She talks about safety, such as using flaired base anal toys so they aren't sucked in, and not placing the penis into something that doesn't open or easily streach, such as bottles. After the discussion of toys, the women from the three demonstration couples gets to pick out a few toys for them to try. While the women pick out toys, the guys are trying to race vibrating toys across a glass table. As Nina says, one needs to be able to laugh at sex, as it is sweaty and hair in the face fun. The three couples are left to their own devices, with Nina going from couple to couple talking about what they are doing, the toy being used.

Review brief: Pre Viewing Expectations The case notes this is a classic porn release, and briefly describes the plot. Most of the space on the back is used to list the extras included on the disc, and what a list it is, right down to the Dolby 5.1 sound. I don't have a Dolby 5.1 setup, so I can't comment on this. Too bad the case tells one how to find the bonus photos, half of the fun would have been searching around the various menus looking for the hidden tag. The Main Event This is a golden classis from the early days of Porn. It was produced in the early 1980's and stars the one and only Marilyn Chambers. She brings her own energy to any movie she stars in, which is just as hot now as it was the day she shot it. This movie is no exception. There are eight scenes total, with Marilyn appearing in a majority of those. Many of the scenes show actions we take for granted today, but were virtually unheard of back then.

Review brief: Pre Viewing Expectations The case for this movie doesn't give away too much. There are a few photos on the back that show some of the hardcore action, including a three-way. It mentions the women who star in it, but otherwise, that is about it. The Main Event As one might expect, this is a montage of scenes, without any type of plotline to hook them all together. For the most part, the women look young, and inexperienced. Take for example the first scene. The girl tries to deep throat the guy, but looks like she is either in pain or very uncomfortable. More experienced women know how to make this look enjoyable, even if it isn't. Overall there are six scenes in this feature, including the three-way shown on the case. Most of the scenes are in excess of 18 minutes, good lenghty action. I was surprised by the lack of money shots in some of these scenes. In the first scene, the guy comes inside of the girl then withdrawls.

Review brief: Pre Viewing Expectations Wow, the case says this feature is over three hours. This will be the first porno I've watched that is longer than most main stream motion pictures. There is a bit of a write up about the plot, but it expects one to have watched the first one in the series (which I have not). Also noted are the 11 scenes and the 33 girls staring in this feature. Mention of filling Jill Kelly's three holes is also made. The Main Event As promised on the case, there are eleven sex scenes in this movie. Most are typical male/female parings. There are a couple of group sex scens, including the "all holes filled" scene. This doesn't involve three men, but two men and either a dildo or pussy to occupy the third opening. Not exactly air tight, and a bit disappointing. Many of the scenes are quite long, to the point of being too long. I found myself getting bored with this, often noting it was time they moved on to something new. The plot is supposed to revolve around a car wash, which is going mobile to make money.

Review brief: If you are forever stuck in the 1980's, keep reading, this movie will be right up your alley. If, however, you are looking for something fresh and modern, quit now and look for another review. Overall, I am quite impressed with the video remastering job done on this movie. After all, the original was shot what I estimate to be in the 1980s. Parts of the video appear hazy, almost like a midday soap opera, but this is the desired effect they were going for at the time, and not to be construed as a flaw in the video. If you remember anything about the 80s, you'll remember how video effects were new, neat, and excessively used. This movie is no exception, reverse video and other color based effects are used quite a bit in the early parts of the film, to the point I found distracting. Thankfully it doesn't permiate the entire movie. The audio, likewise, is very good. It was full and rich, even if it was a bit annoying, but that is just my opinion. The repeating musical chord is more the fault of a limited musical score, rather than the remastered audio track.
