Let's see just how much truth there is in advertising. Technical The technicals here are good, though like some other recent PXP releases, there are problems with purple fringing apparent throughout the DVD. Director Manuel Ferrara? Since I've never seen anything from Chico Redfield, I have no idea of what to expect. Technical The technicals here are very strong. Review brief: Expectations I really like DVSX as a studio... they tend to put out some great releases. Especially when Bryan Xin and Alan Ladd enter the scene. However, big tit movies aren't generally my favs, since I tend to like girls with a slight build. So it will be interesting to see which way my feelings go on this release. Capsule Review This release is like two different DVDs glued together. The first 4 scenes are extremely good, and almost manage to turn me into a maven of the genre. However, the last 2 scenes realize my fears and feature girls that are far too overweight to be attractive to me. Fans of heavier girls should adjust my ratings accordingly. Because I recently reviewed Private Reality 11 and the LeCastel scene in that one was very strong. Aside from some technical issues I was very impressed with the content of the scene. So I am hoping that this is indicative of a new phase of LeCastel movie making. Capsule Review Looks like it was false hope after all. While this is not as bad as a typical Assman title (BEAM), and is probably on par or a little better than the Matador stuff, it is still not even close to the heat generated by his scene in Reality, or to other current offerings from Private. Technical The technicals are definitely on the rough side. Don't expect lavish well-lit sets and wardrobe here. And don't expect smooth, fluid editing either.

Capsule Review This is definitely the best volume I've seen in this series. While the face painting still seems somewhat silly to me, the sets and the sex are better than the previous installments. And the cast is stellar. Technical The camera work is very good and clear. The lighting is adequate, although some of the shots are a little too smoky (a stylistic element that slightly interferes with the production.) The audio is dubbed. While he seems to "own" the movies line, his recent work for Private Gold seems to be a bit stronger. I have high hopes for this one. While this disc is reminiscent of the Penthouse series, it has more plot and that puts it in line with the Gold series. The plot does not get in the way of any of the sex, and that makes it acceptable to me. Technical The camerawork and lighting are excellent. The mastering is beautiful.

Review brief: Expectations DVSX discs just seem to keep getting better. I'm really looking forward to this one. Capsule Review It's not bad, but it is definitely not up to the level of Double Parked. Technical The technical aspects of this disc are not bad, but it looks as though DVSX is overcompressing their video streams. This results in some nasty pixelization in some scenes, especially when there is rapidly changing video. This is the first disc of DVSX's where I have seen this problem. Review brief: Expectations While some of my previous experiences with RLD have been less than stellar, I was very impressed by their exhibit at the AVN Expo this year. I'm hoping that this is indicative of higher quality and care being present in RLD productions. Capsule Review This is basically a very strong anal gonzo flic. If you like anal sex and want to get to the action quickly, this release may be just what you are looking for. The premise behind this movie is that Luger went to Prague, found some hot Eurobabes, and shot them doing anal right off the bat! Technical The video, audio and lighting are good in this release. Unfortunately, the mastering suffers from a major flaw. Apparently, with the intent of introducing a new navigation feature that is present throughout the video, a bug was introduced that inhibits many players from operating with their normal buttons (e.g. FF, Rew, and Pause!).

Review brief: Expectations While this is not a Michael Ninn picture per se, it is billed as being directed by Ninn protege Laurent Sky. I expect it to be very Ninn-ish. The cool thing about this release is that it is a 2 disc set with disc 1 labeled as "Artcore" and disc 2 labeled as "Hardcore". I'm looking forward to seeing the difference as I think the "Hardcore" may be more to my liking. Capsule Review This is a good release. It is extremely Ninn-ish and I'm pretty much at a loss to see the Laurent Sky original elements here. This is one of the dark style Ninn features (think Latex or Shock). Lots of industrial equipment and grunge abounds everywhere. But there is no psycho plot to accompany the whole thing, rather it is pretty much incidental video. The girls look great and the care inherent in this release is obvious. As for the Artcore/Hardcore thing, it is not nearly as radical a difference as I had hoped. The Artcore disc is typical Ninn. The Hardcore disc is mostly the same without the overwhleming pulse of the music and with a little less video editing.

He tends to have a very stylistic approach that, quite frankly, I sometimes love and I sometimes hate. This is the first release in his new Lost Angels series. Each volume will feature one actress in all of the scenes. Capsule Review This is a very good release. While it has all of the audio/visual elements that trademark a Ninn movie, it is not as dark and forboding as many of his releases. And Nikita is a very attractive star for the first of this series. Technical The audio is very good and very clear, although the music is very dominant as well. The video is basically good, although the quick cuts and stark contrasts cause some pixelization for the DVD mastering. First, it is seriously lacking in the porn department. I mean, the sex scenes are very short and scattered, and the sex is not at all dirty. Positively not my cup of tea. While Devon is a hottie, she might as well have been on Playboy. Anyway, the other weird part about this disc is that it is a well made movie. I mean, like a real movie. Capsule Review This is an excellent movie. It is beautifully filmed, it stars gorgeous women, the sets and wardrobes are lavish, and the plot barely gets in the way! What else could you ask for? Loosely, the plot revolves around a rich guy who loves to sniff girl's soiled panties. Each scene has a little of this voyeur guy snatching up panties and sniffing them. Capsule Review This disc definitely has some strong original material, and hardcore Private fans may want to check this one out just for these new scenes... but, like the other volume, there is still too much rehash. In particular, this disc contains two "Private Reports", Sex In A Frame and Fever. While these reports are interesting, they are generally included as bonus material on other Private releases and as such, I have a difficult time counting them as scenes on this disc. I will not review them as such. However, unlike Reality 7, this DVD still contains enough new material (5 scenes) to make this disc worth checking out. Review brief: Expectations Let's see... a Private Black Label disc with Sophie Evans and Rita Faltoyano! How could I not be looking forward to this one? Capsule Review This is basically a huge disappointment. New Private lensman J.M. Ponce tends to get carried away with the effects, and tries in many ways to imitate Ninn. But Ninn he is not and the final product does not have the shine and technical polish of a Ninn film. However, some of the sex is very hot and the girls are exceptional. So while I don't think of this DVD as some sort of trend setter, it has a few whackable moments. Also, the choice of story, Faust, is somewhat silly. I mean, how could one truly portray one of the classics in terms of porn? Unluckily it gets in the way of quite a few scenes. Review brief: Expectations After reading YogaGrrl's and astroknight's reviews of this disc, I am extremely intrigued. The danger here is that, now I have high expectations of this disc. My hopes are that it can meet them. Capsule Review Well, it surely is not what I expected. Perhaps if you sit down to watch this one as an art film, with no intention of getting yourself off, it might be a real jewel. But it comes up lacking as a porno film. Review brief: Expectations I'm looking forward to watching this DVD since it is the first DVD I will watch from the brand new studio, DVSX. These folks have been great to converse with and their web site looks good... let's see how they do with a disc! Capsule Review This is a great first release for a new studio. There are a few filler scenes here, but the strong scenes point to good things ahead from Xin and DVSX. The scenes are clear and bright, and the sex is well filmed. Review brief: Expectations Honestly, my expectations are not too high. The last 3 RLD titles I have reviewed have been less than stellar. This one stars Diana who I didn't like in Fill Her Up. This one is directed by Vince Voyeur who seems to be paying less attention to the little details these days. We'll see... Capsule Review Well, I am pleasantly surprised! This is a pretty good movie. The girls look quite nice for the most part. The premise behind this series is that newbie girls are filmed by Vince early in their porn careers, and they allow him to take serious advantage of them because they don't know any better (and they are all supposed to be insatiable sluts). The truth is that most (all?) of these girls have been on film before, but they are still fairly fresh. And the fantasy of him taking advantage of seriously slutty new girls seems to not only have appeal, it also works. Technical RLD puts out solid, albeit spartan releases.

Review brief: This is the first volume of this series that I am watching. I tend to enjoy female masturbation videos so this should be fun! It looks like the saddle section from a mechanical bull. Technical This is a very well mastered DVD. The video is sharp and clear. Review brief: I love Adamo, and I love Laura Angel. I can't wait to check this out... Synopsis This is a film with a plot. I have no idea what the plot is about. I don't care. I watch the sex scenes. As you will see, some of this disc is incredible, while the rest of it is totally forgettable. Too bad! Technical This is a typical Private/Adamo release. The photography and mastering are flawless. The sound is dubbed. The extras are typical of Private releases; Cast, Trailer, and Report. Scene 1 - Melinda & Black Widow Melinda looks especially tasty in this scene. She is wearing a gold lame minidress with fishnet stockings and heels. Her hair is cropped very short and she reeks of sex. Black widow wears a denim skirt with lace up heels. Her belly top is very form fitting and flattering. Overall, a nice wardrobe and setting for this opening scene. They are in a front room sitting on a couch as they have a nice, warm 3-way with a guy. Review brief: I was very excited when I heard about this film. I love Adamo and I really looked forward to getting this one. As it turns out, it was worth the wait. Technical It's a Private Film, so the technical details are great. It's an Adamo film, so the photography and direction are impeccable! Unfortunately it has a plot, but it doesn't get in the way much. Note I tried my best to get the girls straight. Several, Barby, Beatrice & Black Widow look very much alike in this disc, and the cast stills made it difficult to tell who was who. I apologize for any errors. The Scenes Scene 1 - Mandy Bright, Black Widow, Beatrice Allright! Right off the bat, here are three cuties dressed to the nines. Mandy is a vision in a white micro mini with stockings and heels. Black Widow (I think it is Black Widow) wears a black belly top with tight black pants, and Beatrice wears a black micro mini skirt with a black skin tight top and stockings. All are very sexy. This one pulls it off in style! Synopsis Jules Jordan has managed to do something I am amazed by. He has taken American girls and made them as sexy as anything Europe has to offer. This is a very dirty movie with lots of style. There is attention to detail here and it is obvious. The girls are made up to look their finest as they act with gusto. Technical The technical aspects of Evil Angel DVDs are generally impeccable, and this disc is no exception. Audio and video are crystalline. The entire disc is shot in POV, a format I have detested in the past. Jules, pulls it off with honors! Rather than feeling that I am getting seasick walking around the room, I really feel that I am sucked into the first person.
