Spring Chickens (Diabolic) Review

I have not been having great luck with Diabolic titles recently. I'm hoping that this one breaks the streak and brings me a pleasant surprise.

Capsule Review

The streak continues. This title is not bad, but it is far from the excellence that I expect from Diabolic. The girls vary significantly in terms of looks and sexual ability. The scenes are nothing special in terms of sets, wardrobe or performances. Looks like Diabolic is in a serious slump here.

Technical

This disc is acceptable from a tech standpoint, but it is nothing special either. Diabolic needs to examine their competition (e.g. Evil Angel, RLD or DVSX) because they are quickly becoming outclassed.

Scene Review

Scene 1 - Lynn Dumaire

Lynn is one of two good looking girls on this DVD. She is a brunette with very nice tits. She wears a tight tank top that shows them off very well. She also wears a pair of tight denim shorts. While she is a little chunkier than I generally prefer, she is sexy and pleasant on the eyes. She also gives one hell of a good BJ! The scene starts with her showing off her oral talents in a prolonged scene. Then she moves onto some good fucking, cowgirl first, then doggie. I don't get the grungy tennis shoe look that she sports here, she would be far sexier with bare feet. Anyway, the action continues with anal action that is nothing to write home about. Too bad, as I was looking forward to it. She finishes the scene by taking a hot spunk shot to the mouth and swallowing for us. Whack Factor: 7

Scene 2 - Ashley Blue

I have truly mixed reactions about Ashley Blue. This is the third time I am watching her and I must admit that she does fuck with gusto. However, she is not a terribly attractive woman, at least as she has been presented in the DVDs I've seen so far (including this one). She takes on two guys in the disc, a black guy and a white guy. Immediately, she is on her knees and giving an enthusiastic blowjob to them. She then takes one at each end as part of a fuck and suck. There's some PTM before she continues on to anal, ATM and a DP. The scene ends when she swallows two loads. Whack Factor: 5

Scene 3 - Sugar

Sugar, in this scene, sports a pair of pigtails that make her look like the porno equivalent of Heidi. It is really hard to get this parallel image out of my mind here. Anyway, she starts in almost immediately blowing the guy. Here BJ technique is relatively good here. Then she bends over for a little fucking and... WTF??? She's got a huge, yellowing bruise on her ass. Yecch! The action continues onto anal, and she doesn't seem to like it. In fact, she looks as though she wants to cry. She finishes him by blowing him until he shoots on her face. This is a dick limpening scene. I think with proper care and attention, Sugar could be hot. But she is anything but in this scene. Whack Factor: 3

Scene 4 - Jade

This is the second time I am seeing this asian girl. She is a very long and lank thing who seems to be all legs. I find her very alluring in an exotic kind of way. I personally think she is the most attractive girl in this movie. She wears a tight tank top and a short skirt that accentuate her legs. I could live without the tattoos and piercings, but they aren't horrible. She proceeds to blow the guy for starters, and she gives an outstanding BJ. He eats her a little and then fucks her doggy style. She has a night tight butt. She proceeds to fuck in several other positions before he spoos in her pretty mouth. She promptly spits it out. There is no anal in this scene. This scene is easily the hottest on the disc. I don't think that Jon did anything better in this scene. It's just that Jade is so hot that she takes it up a notch. Even without anal and with the spitting finish, this scene rocks! Whack Factor: 9

Scene 5 - Ashley Long

Ashley is a trashy blonde that I've seen several times now. I'm yet to be impressed with her performances. She looks better here than in any of the other movies I've seen. She wears a sports jersey and denim skirt. She starts off by blowing two guys. It is a reasonably good double BJ. Then she finds herself in the middle of a fuck and suck. The sex here is somewhat perfunctory, but not completely devoid of heat. She continues on to take anal. There is some spitting in this scene, a practice that I find disgusting. Then she does ATM and takes a decent DP. The scene ends with her taking two shots to the face. She spits out what little spoo lands in her mouth. This scene doesn't do a lot for me. Whack Factor: 4

Scene 6 - Karianna

Karianna is a brunette that I've not seen before. She has a reasonably attractive body, but she's not what I would call beautiful. I'm not sure I believe she's a spring chicken either, but maybe. Anyway, she wears a black tight top and a skirt that she promptly ditches. A guy shows up and she gives him a really sloppy blowjob. These drooly affairs do little to excite me. But I will admit that her butt looks good as she waggles it around for us. He fucks her vag from several angles before they move on to the anal action. She takes her anal pounding with ample enthusiasm, the sole saving grace of this scene. She takes ATM and gapes a bit, and then takes the spoo shot in her mouth. She promptly spits all over, kind of a Niagara Falls affair. This is not sexy... rather it is repulsive. Whack Factor: 2

In Conclusion

This disc leaves a lot to be desired. Two girls were very hot, but the disc as a whole is not. I don't understand Diabolic. Their price point is set very high, like other premium manufacturers. But their releases almost look like low budget affairs. With a little care and attention to the aesthetic aspects of their DVDs (like wardrobe, sets, talent, lighting, etc.) they could be turning out a premium product. I cannot recommend this disc as a buy. If you feel a need to see it, rent it first.
