The cover slick for Visions of Clair starring Annette Haven says this, “A film in the style of Emmanuelle, but with a raw passion of The Story of O. I first become aware of Annette Haven when I was about 13, reading a review of one of her movies in a skin magazine my father brought home from a weekend at the National Guard. It was a review/article on the Charlie’s Angels spoof called “A Coming of Angels.” In the interview portion, she said that a guy could “cum on her pubes or ass, but not her face!” Having no idea at the time about popshots, I let the comment slide. Watching her on film today, I can only think, “God how pretty would she be with two or three heavy loads of cum running out of her mouth onto her chin and tits.” But I digress. Watching her in this romp set in San Francisco, one can only marvel at her forwardness for openly performing in the underground world of porn given her sheer beauty. Now that the ogling of Annette is over, let’s check out the movie, shall we.

I don’t know what they were going for in this, but needless to say, artsy porn is the end result. Other than the opening M/F scene with Annette and a F/F later on, I have no idea if she had sex with anyone else. Whenever there is sex going on, it’s shot in such a way that faces are obscured to the point where we see a nose here, a forehead there, or a body part involved. So if Annette was fucking anyone else, your guess is as good as mine. Maybe with the underground nature of porn back then, this is designed to protect identities, I don’t know. Bottom line, there is no consistency at all with the sex in this. The only way one could remotely rub one out in this is if they’ve never scene sex on film before and they’re about 13. Extras include 4 short classic bonus scenes, trailers, and more.

Is it worth it? Maybe if you’re a film student wanting to study the origins of porn, that’s about it.
