New Barbarians, The review summaries:
fu_q's
The mischievous, barbarian chieftan, Randy Spears, and his hell-raising horde will stop at nothing to rend a powerful, magical crystal from the hands of its rightful owners in "The New Barbarian", a very good, 1990 release from VCA and Henri Pachard. With its inexplicable ability to bring about time-travel, this sexually-fueled gem is certainly a prize worth seeking...and, for Victoria Paris and her peaceful people, a prize worth protecting. A blend of sex and (mild) violence ensues, as the two groups wrestle for control of the piece. Harking back to the days of the old barbarian films of the 1980s while concomitantly mixing in that same era's pornographic charm, this one is most certainly rife with nostalgic value. The sex is also steamy...again, in that 80s style...and seeing Victoria Paris sex it up in her prime is always a welcomed occurrence. For the right crowd--fans of 80s fantasy, porno nostalgia, Victoria Paris, and / or quirky features--this one is worthy. [read the full review]

Tease, The review summaries:
The Pervert's
John Leslie is currently known for his stylistic loops he directs for Evil Angel. However, his best work, arguably, are the thematic, sexually-charged features he directed for VCA during the late 80's and early 90's. The Tease was a movie I'd never heard of before. But, with a cast list of Selena Steele, Ashlyn Gere, and Lauren Hall, I knew I had to check this one out... The movie stars the beautiful yet enigmatic Lauren Hall, the x-rated version of Linda Carter (Wonder Woman), who lets writer Randy West stay in her house for a month to help put some of her sexual experiences to words. If he can withstand living with Hall for a month without becoming intimate, Hall promises it will be worth it to them both, the idea being "good things cum to those who wait..." However, West immediately falls under the spell of the seductive Hall and struggles to keep it together as he watches Hall and Selena Steele put on some nasty, naughty shows for him. Night Trips 2 is an excellent film for viewers that like arty and tame sex. Although there is a minute plot, the imagery is the reason to watch this film. Despite the very poor transfer and the authoring problems, the film is not unwatchable and fans of Andrew Blake's work will still want to pick this disc up. Viewers that are new to Andrew Blake may want to seek out a film that has been given better treatment on DVD and hope that this one gets the release it deserves one day. [read the full review]

Writer/Director: Andrew Blake Videographer: Andrew Blake Running length: 75 min. D.O.P. 1990 Female cast: Paula Price, Brianna, Erica Boyer, Bridgette Monroe, Tami Monroe, Racquel Darrian, Cameo, Cheri Taylor, Lauren Hall, Nina Alexander Male cast: Randy Spears, Jon Dough, Randy West, Eric Price, Derrick Lane Audio/Video: Parts of it were real grainy, mainly the dream sequences, but I expected that. The audio was fine. Extras: Um.. The Movie: Paula Price thinks she has a problem just because she can't stop thinking about sex and masturbates constantly.. Welcome to the club Paula, but right away I can see what the problem is. This woman needs to get off! And the way she half-heartedly walks around touching herself and rubbing up against doorknobs isn't the way to do it. But it looks artistic and sexy. That's what Andrew Blake is all about, and no one does better. How nice it is not to have to fast forward through all the double and triple penetrations, or fight a wave of nausea as someone proudly displays an asshole resembling the Grand Canyon. Starring: Paula Price, Racquel Darrian, Bridgette Monroe, Erica Boyer, Tammy Monroe, Cameo, Brianna, Cheri Taylor, Lauren Hall, Nina Alexander, Jon Dough, Randy West, Randy Spears, Eric Price, Derrick Lane Pros: Racquel's Ass!!!, plot about a girl who touches herself alot, she is so insatiable she rubs her clit on a doorknob(now selling on E- Bay;)), lace, high heels, directed by Andrew Blake Cons: poor Audio/Video, every track is somehow the first track, no chick ID, Erica Boyer's penis envy Plot: A chick touches herself alot and seeks professional help from people who have a machine that reads her thoughts as she sleeps. Note: Since Principal Skinner has already given most of the details of the DVD, my review is not highly detailed. I am merely going to offer my basic perceptions. So when you finally get that Corvette Stingray you have been dreaming about all these years, do you think you will paint it in white and black like a cow? Or how about coat it in astro terf? That is the feeling I got from this DVD. [read the full review]
