Hollywood Guru is a couples flick featuring some decent talent and okay sex action, but it could put a stroker to sleep quickly. The predictably soft music throughout is an insomniacs best friend. It even plays during the Behind the Scenes bonus feature. Zzzzzz. The movie employs Adam & Eves traditional camera work, that is, lots of Playboy Channel shooting. There are more shots of the couples kissing and fondling then there are of close-ups of actual penetration. There are no anal scenes and no facials in director Nicholas Steeles effort. In other words, invite Mom and Dad over to watch. Its that vanilla. Forget the plot. Its inane and hard to follow. Suffice to say, Steven St. Croix plays an enlightened man who spreads happiness to everyone he meets by reciting lines such as Truth is at the river.
