Vinegar Syndrome has put together a good pairing of films with their release of Bella and Robins Nest. Bella is the highlight of the set and is worth the purchase all by itself. Vinegar Syndrome has added a nice piece from Carter Stevens on Bella as well. The second film, Robins Nest, isn't as good as Bella is but one can think of it is a free extra since Bella is worth the price of admission alone. The fine folks at Vinegar Syndrome have scanned and restored two classic flicks from their original 35 mm camera negatives. Both films feature real life lovers Arcadia Lake and Eric Edwards and one of the films, BELLA from 1980, might just be one of the best from that era, while the other flick, ROBIN'S NEST from 1979, is a solid little xxx comedy. So, PEEKARAMA: ROBIN'S NEST/BELLA (2016, Vinegar Syndrome) becomes an easy rave recommendation for those classic fuck flick aficionados, who will finally get to see BELLA in a beautiful wide screen restoration along with some solid BELLA extras including a video interview with cinematographer Carter Stevens and a terrific original trailer.
