Glamour Sluts #2 had the potential to be a terrific porn flick. Instead, it suffers from absolutely terrible camera work. Whoever was behind the lens needed a lude or two because he couldnt hold still for even a couple seconds. He was constantly zooming in and out, often getting TOO close on his close-ups. I thought I was watching John Leslie on a sugar high. In the opener, very cute brunette Sunny Lane takes on Chris Evans in a decent scene that is unfortunately ruined by the cameraman (co-director Norman Bentley and Lucian Dond are credited). What might have been a terrific scene ends with a shot across Sunnys beautiful torso. Another traffic stopper, brown-haired Melissa Lauren is next, and it looks like she had an accident of some kind before the shooting. She sports an ugly red scrape on her left shoulder. On the surface, it just looked like their cheap imitation of a Shanes World video, what with the concept being that Devinn Lane and 5 or 6 porn stars piled into a van and just went out on a road trip. However, closer examination revealed that what they had produced was in fact an absolutely stellar piece of porn. It clocked in at over 2 hours long and alternated between some really fun, candid moments to some fun yet equally intense sex. To my mind, it was one of the best non-plot pornos released in 2004. As such, I had high hopes for Road Trixxx 2. Unfortunately, Devinn made some critical errors in her cast selection this time which, combined with the films relatively short running time, makes this seem merely like a light version of Road Trixxx 1.
