Flesh Gordon (Blu-ray) review summaries:
Flash's
review from 11/3/2019:
Flesh Gordon is a softcore parody of Flash Gordon, which combines the right level of camp, cheesy special effects, and ambition behind it to be a fun film, even though the originally conceived hardcore version was never to be. Fans of hardcore films from the 70s should find a lot of fun here, while also trying to find the blue screen actors and actresses from the era in the film hiding in the remaining close to hardcore footage. Hen's Tooth Video has done a decent job with their Blu-ray release of Flesh Gordon. The picture exhibits some heavy grain, and the colors appear to be overly muted in places however, this is likely the best the film will ever look for the home video market. [read the full review]

Flash's
review from 4/29/2016:
Vinegar Syndrome's All Night at the Po-No is a collection of 12 quickly and cheaply made early 70s Los Angeles made adult films. A lot of what is presented here after one viewing you will never want to view again. There are a few others that will stand up to repeated viewings. Vinegar Syndrome wisely decided to make the cost not to expensive so it doesn't matter that a lot of the films presented here are duds. The few winners make up for it. The transfers aren't up to Vinegar Syndrome's usual standards but all the films are watchable. Vinegar Syndrome did miss the mark a little on the disc authoring and the extras included. If you like adult films from the transitional period from softcore to when hardcore films started getting actual budgets, you'll want to check this set out. [read the full review]

Sexual Liberty Now! review summaries:
Flash's
review from 7/16/2018:
Sexual Liberty Now! is a pseudo-documentary that uses the backdrop of President Lyndon Johnson's Commission on Obscenity and Pornography report as an educational stand to present pornography on the big screen at a time when pornography had to have educational value to avoid prosecution. As an actual documentary on the Commission on Obscenity and Pornography report, filmed pornography, and sexual practice in America Sexual Liberty Now! is an utter failure filled with a lot of suspect information. As entertainment, Sexual Liberty Now! makes for fun viewing. Intentionally, or not, Sexual Liberty Now! has amusingly absurd moments that allow the antiquated film a new life. Vinegar Syndrome has done a nice job with their streaming-only edition on Exploitation.TV with good video and audio quality. [read the full review]

Thirteen Blue Doors review summaries:
Flash's
review from 6/26/2018:
Thirteen Blue Doors, which appears to have been curated by Terry Sullivan, is a collection of nine previously released adult film loops with dubbed in sound. The film will appeal to fans of 8mm adult film loops and will, quite obviously, not be of interest to viewers who didn't like loops. Vinegar Syndrome has done a decent job with their streaming-only release of Thirteen Blue Doors on Exploitation.TV with decent video and audio quality. [read the full review]

Flash's
review from 8/14/2014:
The Zodiac Rapist Grindhouse Collection combines the two Sam Dobbs films together on one release. The films are fun and lighthearted. However, After Hours Cinema has altered both films, one considerably, which makes it hard to recommend this set. [read the full review]

review from 5/18/2016:
SuperCock, or High Fashion Models as the film was called when it originally was released, is not by any means a good film. The plot is horrible, the dialog is cringeworthy, the sex scenes are poorly shot, and the acting is bad. To top it all off, Historic Erotica's release of SuperCock is abysmal with a transfer that I would question if it is actually considered watchable that has been dumped on a DVD-R. This is an easy skip even if you are an ardent fan of the film. [read the full review]

Double Feature Cinema 1: Make Mine Milk & Coming West review summaries:
Flash's
review from 5/3/2016:
It is nice that Shooting Star Video is making these older, less remembered adult titles available, Double Feature Cinema Volume 1 is a mixed bag of early 70s films. Make Mine Milk was on the disappointing side where Coming West was entertaining. Shooting Star Video has messed up both transfers though which is disappointing. [read the full review]
