It's been awhile since I saw the original 9 1/2 weeks and it was almost considered porn when it first came out! I remember fucking a couple girlfriends back in the 80s after watching the VHS tape! LOL. Anyways, Adam and Eve presents the parody version with Summer Brielle in the Kim Basinger role. This might be too much for her but nobody ever accused Kim Basinger of being a good actress! "Saw: A Hardcore Parody" is a very good production from Dick Chibbles that, obviously, parodies the popular mainstream film franchise of the same name. In purchasing this one, I was a bit concerned as to how one would turn a horror series like this into an erotic film. Fortunately for the viewer, this was generally done quite well. The plot is well-developed, with an evil character--much like the one in the "real" films--terrorizing people by putting them in life-or-death situations with diabolical contraptions and then forcing them to make painful decisions. The twist here--other than the sex--is that the entire storyline revolves around the villain targeting adult film industry professionals for their perceived transgressions. The settings are quite realistic and fit well with the plot, and the acting is generally solid. So...what more could one want from such a production? Oh...that's right...hot sex. Emerging from a protective chamber years after "the burn", Kayden sets forth into this strange land--a land that is fraught with danger and that features a dog-eat-dog, every-man-for-himself mentality. While the storyline gets off to something of a slow start--as does the sex--these items do pick up the pace substantially during the second half of the feature, and there is plenty of both to satisfy most consumers. Additionally, the production values are through the roof, and the amount of bonus materials is enough to sate even the most die-hard porn fan's desire for inside knowledge about the industry and film-making process. Well fans it's that time of year, Epic season and this flick certainly qualifies. Set in the near future we have witnessed a big burn, aka nuclear fall out and we have Kayden Kross as the lead female waking up to this new world and trying to find her way through it. Amber Rayne also excels in this helping out Kayden as the two make their way to Elysium Fields where the Prince lives-- a guru who survived the bad times and now leads his flock, downplaying technology. Lots of acting in this one fans so feature fans should enjoy that as well as the strong sex which features all the goodies from blowjobs to anals and dp's.
