This is a good little feature that shows some of the nice potential Barrett Blade has harnessed over the last few years. The story is decently done and the sex is very solid with Alektra Blue turning out two very solid scenes. The technical aspects show all the care one has come to expect from Wicked Pictures, but the extras are lacking and don't even deliver what's advertised on the boxcover. "Grindhouse XXX: A Double Feature" is a very good production from Adam and Eve that puts forth two features, both done in the over-the-top "grindhouse" style. The first ("Student Assassin") involves Teagan Presley, a student at a local community college who moonlights as a contract killer. Her cop girlfriend (Nina Mercedez) has been taken hostage by a drug kingpin (Derrick Pierce), and it's up to Teagan to rescue her...the hard way. The second ("Massacre at Pine Lake") features Alexis Ford and her crew of camp workers at the Pine Lake camp the day prior to its seasonal opening. After a monstrous serial killer (Lee Stone) escapes from the police and happens upon the camp, the whole place turns into a bloodbath. Fortunately for Alexis, this beast is a pansy when it comes to standard women's self-defense maneuvers--too funny. Complementing all of this violence, of course, is a good deal of hot sex...which should still be the bread and butter of any adult film, plot or not. [read the full review]

"Mr. Pete's POV" is an excellent production from Vivid and Mr. Pete that--spoiler alert!--features Mr. Pete as the male lead in all of the scenes. Also as something that may come as a shocker, most of the action is captured in a POV (point-of-view) style, which gives the viewer the impression that he's the one banging the girls. While not a huge fan of POV, I was pleasantly surprised by this release, as it's done quite well and involves a lot of nasty sex with an even nastier female cast. It's hard to go wrong with an experienced performer such as Mr. Pete at the helm...particularly when he has a host of ladies at his disposal that includes the likes of Juelz Ventura, Katie St. Ives, Briana Blair, and so on.
