Debbie Does Iowa is the new feature from Vivid I just watched. The movie's lead role of Debbie is played by the delicious looking Sky. The roles of the cheerleaders are played by Blair Segal, Vivian Valentine, Temptress and Tiger Lilly in a non sex role. Sky is on the prarie this time to help a squad try to make it to the big Sugar Bowl. Tyce Bune does a good job as acting as the father of two football players and teaching Debbie about the town. Our first scene features Bobby Vitale with a local hooker played by Alexandra Nice. Her orange dress in the scene looked great on her and plenty of heat with these actors including missionary and anal but no facial unfortunately. Still, it was Vivid so I should have known better should have known far better. Sigh. First up, the plot. Jekyll & Hyde has been lauded for its story. Personally, I found the story uninteresting, even off-putting, and it unquestionably interfered with the sex. Not only that, but there were virtually two stories going on at once, independent of each other. Taylor and Julian had a plotline that was semi-interesting while the European (Hungarian?) cast were totally involved in their own non-English drama. Bonnie & Clyde is a great couples film with a slim plot holding it together. I cant recommend it for fans of nasty sex or people who cant stand any plot in their adult films as there is enough of a plot here that it will interfere with their viewing. It would have been nice if the video had been of better quality and that instead of putting the useless standard Vivid special features that the two films had been presented in their entirety as there would have been plenty of space for them. Vivid has done an acceptable job with their DVD release of Bonnie & Clyde. [read the full review]

"A Gay Man's take on Straight Porn" I really had liked Paul Thomas's "Heart Breaker" and thought this one sounded interesting. Was it what I expected? Well... The Movie: Normally I would go through the sex scenes, and the plot, but the thing is, the sex is pretty constant, and the plot really is the important part here. So, I'm going to treat this more as a maintstream review. The basic premise of this movie is that Inari Vachs and Bobby Vitale are couple. They start the movie as very wild and drugged out, having sex in front of Bobby's porn models, and fucking other people in front of each other. Things are pretty hot and nasty between the two. That is until Thanksgiving. Kobi is having it at her house, and we are introduced to one more important character, Doug (I forget the performer's name). Director: Paul Thomas Writer: Raven Touchstone Videographer: Jack Remy Running length: 2 hours D.O.P. 1994 Female cast: Roxanne Blaze, Tianna, Lacy Rose. Dyanna Lauren Male cast Mike Horner, Nick East, Alex Sanders, Brad Armstrong Audio/Video: Excellent, except a couple of the scenes were just a tad too dark, but other than that, no complaints. Extras: Slide show of photo stills, bios of Tianna, Roxanne, and Dyanna and some trailers. Condoms The only one I saw was on Alex Sanders. The Movie: Wow. This is a real good movie on several levels, but the main one for me is the sex. I've heard this described as a good couples movie, and that's true enough, but don't take that to mean that the sex isn't hot. I can't tell you how refreshing it was to NOT see every scene end with a pud-pulling facial. Not only THAT, but there's one scene where Mike Horner actually doesn't pull out at all, and this absolutely astounded me. [read the full review]

Justine 2 is a perfect couple's movie. Roxanna Blaze is naturally beautiful (no 'enhancements') and the sex is real sex, not porno sex. The plot is decenlty played out (Roxanne is seeing both father and son.) The major flaw with this movie is Tianna. Some people seem to think she's hot. However, Vivid has done a horrible job with their DVD release of Bad Wives by using what they are calling the director's cut of the film that has excised more of the film then is included on the disc. The result is an absolute hack job that barely even resembles the original film. Vivid promised a Collector's Edition release of the movie with the uncut movie on it over a decade ago that never materialized. Sadly, this reviewer can't recommend this hack job of a modern classic. Bad Wives is an excellent feature film from director Paul Thomas that is one of the modern classics. Unfortunately I did not read andyblake's review before purchasing. I had rented the VHS video and it was fantastic 4.5 stars with outstanding scenes from Tricia Devereaux(love the glasses) and Missy. So I had purchased the DVD for a permanent copy expecting better picture and sound. What VIVID did to the DVD is just wrong. To get their multiangle shots they just cut up the scene. None of the angles are the original full scene. Let me keep this simple. DO NOT BUY THE DVD. By all means get the VHS copy, it was great. Message to VIVID You have permanently lost a customer. I will never purchase/rent a VIVID DVD in the future. Multiangle must have the original scene intact on angle 1, other angles can be used if additional footage is available. [read the full review]

Bad Wives is a Vivid feature with an impressive cast, and is also considered a porn classic. Unfortunately, like most classics its not everything its cracked up to be. Disenchanted with their mundane lives, housewives Dyanna and Melissa try something different, but not everything goes to plan thanks to supermarket wild-child Steven St. Croix ... It seemed fairly run-of-the-mill to me more elaborate, well-filmed and well-acted than a normal porn film, but nothing spectacular. In particular, a number of non-sex parts dragged out and I thought the ending was a disappointment (but I wont spoil it). The sex itself was pretty good for Vivid, and there was quite a lot of it; the cast was good too. I thought Id point out andyblakes review, for his warning about the excessive cutting of the movie. I havent seen the VHS version so I cant comment on whats been lost from the original movie, but this might explain why I wasnt tremendously impressed. Something to be aware of at any rate.
