review from 1/14/2016:
When a chance encounter unknowingly brings her together with her boyfriend's father, the instant spark that ignites touches off a torrid, sexual and emotional turn of events for the young Roxanne Blaze--a turn of events that she finds difficult to handle. Such is the case in "Justine: Nothing to Hide 2", an exceptional, early-90s release from Metro and director Paul Thomas. [read the full review]

review from 11/19/2001:
Director: Paul Thomas Writer: Raven Touchstone Videographer: Jack Remy Running length: 2 hours D.O.P. 1994 Female cast: Roxanne Blaze, Tianna, Lacy Rose. Dyanna Lauren Male cast Mike Horner, Nick East, Alex Sanders, Brad Armstrong Audio/Video: Excellent, except a couple of the scenes were just a tad too dark, but other than that, no complaints. Extras: Slide show of photo stills, bios of Tianna, Roxanne, and Dyanna and some trailers. Condoms The only one I saw was on Alex Sanders. The Movie: Wow. This is a real good movie on several levels, but the main one for me is the sex. I've heard this described as a good couples movie, and that's true enough, but don't take that to mean that the sex isn't hot. I can't tell you how refreshing it was to NOT see every scene end with a pud-pulling facial. Not only THAT, but there's one scene where Mike Horner actually doesn't pull out at all, and this absolutely astounded me. [read the full review]

review from 12/4/1999:
Justine 2 is a perfect couple's movie. Roxanna Blaze is naturally beautiful (no 'enhancements') and the sex is real sex, not porno sex. The plot is decenlty played out (Roxanne is seeing both father and son.) The major flaw with this movie is Tianna. Some people seem to think she's hot. I thought she was nasty, and not in the good way. And her scenes disrupt the development of Roxanne's love triangle. [read the full review]

review from 2/19/2005:
I loved the plot and the acting in the mob-themed Paul Thomas picture. Vince Vouyer and Alexandra Silk were especially convincing with their New Jersey accents, but everyone seemed to be trying to stay in character. Unfortunately, the forces of evil at Vivid cut this film to ribbons before releasing it on DVD. The film was originally 131 minutes on VHS, and the DVD runs 84 minutes. You don't need to be a math major to see that more than 45 minutes have been cut from the movie, including two entire scenes. It really should be callled outtakes from "Mobster's Wife." On the flipside, there are two versions of a behind the scenes featurette, together totalling almost an hour, but in no way does the behind the scenes featurette compensate for not having the entire film on DVD. For some unknown reason, the people at Vivid cut up all of th 1990s Paul Thomas features before releasing them on DVD. I don't know which is worse, not getting the whole movie or knowing what enormous contempt the people at Vivid have for me (and you), their customer. But they are the contemptible ones. review from 2/7/2002:
Mobsters' Wife is an average couples film with a gangster theme, it's nothing spectacular but fans of couples style films probably won't be disappointed. It's too bad that it appears that Vivid cut this film to be able to fit on all the special features, the only one of which that is worth the space is the Behind the Scenes feature. This film is not for people who don't like plot based or couples friendly adult entertainment. [read the full review]

review from 12/5/2000:
The second DVD I bought, and the first one from big name Vivid. Right off, you notice the difference between this DVD and one from a smaller company like VXI - tons and tons of extra features. Even the quality on the DVD is higher, a direct result of Vivid's production values. Multiple angles show off the advancement of the DVD technology, as you can switch to different views of the action. We'll start with the good points - the women look great in this video, especially Kobe Tai, the star of the flick, and the beautiful Deva, especially when they engage in the final and hottest scene of the video. The dancing between Deva and Jacklyn Lick is also tremendous, and even better, this scene features multiple angles. Ever wanted to see a lapdance from a different angle? Go right ahead. It's fun! Now the bad part. The rest of the scenes are..well, not nearly as good. They consist mainly of Kobe peeping in on couples twice, being caught once and dragged into the middle of a threesome. review from 12/10/2001:
I remembered why I hated Vivid videos. Here's their formula: - make a nice looking sexy video cover w/ nice picture quality (which you'll never see on the DVD, even in the screenshots) - throw in lots of old video clips as "bonus" material (the video quality sucks on the preview/bonus clips as well) - recycle VHS tapes into DVDs (can't explain the video quality otherwise) Anyways, I used to be a big Racquel Darrian fan. She has an amazing body (I think she still does through all the graininess of the video) and a nice face. Picked this up through a trade to see if Vivid was any better than it used to be. Racquel walks into a club where another girl is flirting w/ the guys. She and this girl end up having sex in front of all the guys. The bar is dark and that screws up the video quality. Guy at bar picks both girls up and brings them to his love shack (actually, decked out basement with really dark lighting) where his friends are all having sex. Girls get turned on and have sex w/ the guys there. [read the full review]

review from 8/20/2000:
The Plot: Okay, I have to hand it to Vivid. Rarely, if ever, do they produce a movie that doesn't have a plot. Or at least a semblance of a plot. Okay, maybe a hint of a plot. True, the plot's don't always make sense, but you at least get some motivation behind why Actress A is working her way through Actors B, C, D and the sheep in the corner. Our plot today revolves around a fictitious show similar to Late Night with Old Comedian that you may watch yourself. We start with Steven St. Croix, playing himself, having a lot of fun with Alexa, a waitress he picked up in a bar. After having very intimate relations, Stevie discovers that the new-age bit of fluff that he brought home last night has been talking to her crystals too long. See, she and Steven have only just met last night... in this life. Ah, their souls are immortal and they have been meant for each other since time began. And if Steven doesn't like that arrangement, she'll just have to kill him and wait until the next time they meet up again. Okay. [read the full review]

* DIRECTOR: Paul Thomas (1995) * DURATION: ยป80mins * FEMMES: Asia Carrera, Celeste, Crystal Gold, Laura Palmer & Tammi Ann. WELCOME to Rieekan Review #10 Trouble Maker. Celeste is my reigning All-Star Queen but didnt have many sex scenes in Borderline, though the movie itself was quite good. I was hoping Trouble Maker would be a better showcase for the busty brunette and was pleased. For some less complimentary words, jump to reviewers review. Celeste plays the trouble-making Shane, who comes between newlywed Asia & Eric Price in the name of manipulative fun. Shes found dead at the start of the movie, with the obsessive Tony Tedeschi reading letters he wrote to her as he watched her wreak havoc with others lives. The plot and acting (particularly Celestes) were pretty good, as one would hope to find in a Paul Thomas movie, the only letdowns in the production values being the clothing and music. EXTRAS: [Side A] 5 chapters, 8 bios, 3 sex scenes & website preview. [Side B] 10 previews & 15 sex scenes. [read the full review]

In the alley below and the apartments above, the secret lives of lovers are revealed. But is this fantastic view a fantasy? If only the window was a little closer...he could he for himself. Let Kira give you a voyeurs view through Paul Thomas The Window.Great plot, solid acting and great sex. Its a winner! Not quite but came close.Quality of dvd video and audio:Image was dark (was not supposed too), and the colors were too saturated. Too much red. Why makes the transfer like that? Well basically no effort and poor mastering. This is DVD were talking about. Music was ok, but it was too loud. It almost to an extent tried to drown the sound of banging skin, and moans. Personally I could live without the sound in this close to being-a-solid title.Likes:I enjoyed the plot. The story was fresh, and interesting. The hardcore sex was hot. I enjoyed all the sexual scenes. The acting was good and all the pornstars played their roles solidly. [read the full review]

review from 10/3/2018:
Bad Wives is an excellent feature film from director Paul Thomas that is one of the modern classics. However, Vivid has done a horrible job with their DVD release of Bad Wives by using what they are calling the director's cut of the film that has excised more of the film then is included on the disc. The result is an absolute hack job that barely even resembles the original film. Vivid promised a Collector's Edition release of the movie with the uncut movie on it over a decade ago that never materialized. Sadly, this reviewer can't recommend this hack job of a modern classic. review from 5/11/2002:
Unfortunately I did not read andyblake's review before purchasing. I had rented the VHS video and it was fantastic 4.5 stars with outstanding scenes from Tricia Devereaux(love the glasses) and Missy. So I had purchased the DVD for a permanent copy expecting better picture and sound. What VIVID did to the DVD is just wrong. To get their multiangle shots they just cut up the scene. None of the angles are the original full scene. Let me keep this simple. DO NOT BUY THE DVD. By all means get the VHS copy, it was great. Message to VIVID You have permanently lost a customer. I will never purchase/rent a VIVID DVD in the future. Multiangle must have the original scene intact on angle 1, other angles can be used if additional footage is available. [read the full review]

review from 2/16/2002:
* DIRECTOR: Paul Thomas. * DURATION: See below. * STARRING: Dyanna Lauren, Melissa Hill, Missy, Stephanie Swift & Tricia Devereaux. Bad Wives is a Vivid feature with an impressive cast, and is also considered a porn classic. Unfortunately, like most classics its not everything its cracked up to be. Disenchanted with their mundane lives, housewives Dyanna and Melissa try something different, but not everything goes to plan thanks to supermarket wild-child Steven St. Croix ... It seemed fairly run-of-the-mill to me more elaborate, well-filmed and well-acted than a normal porn film, but nothing spectacular. In particular, a number of non-sex parts dragged out and I thought the ending was a disappointment (but I wont spoil it). The sex itself was pretty good for Vivid, and there was quite a lot of it; the cast was good too. I thought Id point out andyblakes review, for his warning about the excessive cutting of the movie. I havent seen the VHS version so I cant comment on whats been lost from the original movie, but this might explain why I wasnt tremendously impressed. Something to be aware of at any rate. Overall, I found Bad Wives a fairly mundane feature. [read the full review]

Running Time: 73 min. Production Date: 1993 Director: Paul Thomas Cast: Lene' Hefner, Lacy Rose, Sierra, Brittany O'Connell, Mark Davis, Jon Dough, Nick East, Steven St. Croix Extras: The typical Vivid Wave extras. Previews, bios, 'interactive' sex, and AVN highlights. It's the same extras as the other Wave DVDs. Audio Quality: Average. There are a couple of spots that seem like they may have been dubbed, but it's not overly noticeable. There are also a few places where the sound seems to lose its depth, which probably added to my feeling of parts being dubbed. Video Quality: The picture shows a lot of grain, but I think that comes more from the original than the transfer. Music: The music comes and goes throughout the movie, but since it seems to be on purpose, it isn't too bad. When the music does stop, it seems to be the end of the song and you have some of the sounds of the people. Initial Expectations: Paul Thomas normally does a pretty good porno without much plot but with some average to better than average sex. [read the full review]

review from 3/22/2004:
This is not your typical erotic cinema. Ms. Gere really tries to flex her acting chops, which means as the better actresses go, she qualifies for soap opera work on the networks. It is almost mystifying as to how much drama is instilled over actual fuck scenes. Still, Ms. Gere is so stunning and so cock-hardening, she carries the film. The strap-on scence is not my thing but it gets by. Asia Carrera is underused and it would have been dynamite to have her and Ms. [read the full review]

The First Word: This second movie in Paul Thomas' Masseuse series emphasizes plot above all else and dares to depict situations not normally shown in porn. But in the end, while it's an interesting drama with credible acting performances, the sex action doesn't live up to the fact that Masseuse 2 is a hardcore adult movie. Im a big fan of Kira Kener (the chic on the cover) and thats why I bought this movie only for her. The movie was described as the first Miss Kener adult movie and also as her first movie with anal scene. Wow, what a babe I said. Moreover Ive read some interview with her from that era, and when she was asked what is her favorite sex position, she answered that its anal. I said wow, what an enthusiasm one more time and couldnt wait to see her in action. For those whore not familiar with Kira. Shes an Asian looking (in fact shes only partly Asian, she has also some Norvegian origins) hot babe with fucking pretty face, big (DD) boobs, great ass and killer legs. In short great looking body. What do you want more, huh? Plot: As in any adult film pretty simple. A guy is addicted to having sex with nurses. Hes being caught and have to go to take some experimental de-toxic therapy.
