It Sees Through Everything

Quick view of plot:

A hospital window becomes a man’s eyes to the world, showing a panorama of sexual and private moments. In the alley below and the apartments above, the secret lives of lovers are revealed. But is this fantastic view a fantasy? If only the window was a little closer...he could he for himself. Let Kira give you a voyeurs view through Paul Thomas’ The Window.

Great plot, solid acting and great sex. It’s a winner! Not quite but came close.

Quality of dvd video and audio:

Image was dark (was not supposed too), and the colors were too saturated. Too much red. Why makes the transfer like that? Well basically no effort and poor mastering. This is DVD we’re talking about. Music was ok, but it was too loud. It almost to an extent tried to drown the sound of banging skin, and moans. Personally I could live without the sound in this close to being-a-solid title.

Likes:

I enjoyed the plot. The story was fresh, and interesting. The hardcore sex was hot. I enjoyed all the sexual scenes. The acting was good and all the pornstars played their roles solidly. I also enjoyed the extras, there’s lots of them. Infact, there’s a whole side for it, hence, side B. The last scene was hardcore intense! This guy did major justice to the nurse, which I say, well good for her, she deserved it! Constantly throughout the whole movie she kept teasing the poor patient, and look what she received at the end, a major bang blast. Very good moment, I was very turned on! Well, actually the first scene turned me on, the girl was so cool. What I enjoyed about her was that she was quiet and not dominant, and let the boys have their fun. Damn, why couldn’t Vivid do justice to this scene and make it sharp for the viewers at home to watch?

Dislikes:

The dark image prevented this movie from getting a high solid rating. The colors were a bit odd, I found too much red on the flesh throughout the whole entire movie. Weird. You know this is the first time I think I actually have a complaint about colors! I never like being picky and too technical about hues, and contrast, etc. I just like reviewing it simple, short and to the point. Ok, where was I? Oh, this is basically all that I did not like in this title, the transfer. It’s such a shame. The first scene was dark, and it was a great scene. Infact all the scenes are very well made that the use of camera angles is hardly needed in the scenes because the camera always seem to be on the best parts constantly. Good camera work in this one. I did not see the need for camera angles. I guess that is why Vivid did not use the camera angles too much. Heck, I think they only displayed the angle logo on the screen only two times throughout the entire movie.

Overall opinion:

If you can live with a not so great transfer then this is a good and close-to-solid purchase. The story and sex was well done. The ending scene had a twist, which made me appreciate the movie a little more. The female pornstars were hot and great looking. The male pornstars were decent looking also. All in all a good solid purchase, but, for less than $21 bucks. I just wouldn’t shell out over $25 for this type of disc with that image. Sure there’s another side with lots of extras, but that really shouldn’t be the key. The main thing that should be essential and should be a rule, is that all adult titles must be at there very best displaying to the viewers, a crystal clear image. This is DVD we’re talking about here! Flesh on screen should look basically, like flesh, not like dull opaque and sometimes dark-like vhs quality. DVD is capable of great resolution, more companies should take advantage of that and embrace it. Extreme Sex which is a Vivid title looks pristine on screen, great looking. Why can’t other hot Vivid titles like Seven Deadly Sins, The Window, look the same as well? Oh well, guess you can’t have everything.

A little bit of help:

If you just want a hot hardcore title in your collection, this one fits in nicely. It’s that good. Sure the transfer is in the way, but it’s right up there with Extreme Sex, and The Neighbor when it comes to hardcore sex. It’s plot is just as good as Original Sin and the sex is a tad better because there is a bit of anal action going on certain scenes. A little bit of variety is good. I still say Original Sin is a way better purchase though especially it's extras. Plus, the ones that I just mentioned here look better than The Window, and that’s what should count the most. Like I said before, it’s such a shame. It Sees Through Everything...yeah, the patients have it best, they get to enjoy the crystal clear action going on. But what about us looking at the screen at home?
