There are several things one could be thinking while watching this. a. This beautiful photography is befitting a woman as gorgeous Avy Scott. b. My girlfriend better like this because I sure as heck don't. It looks like Andrew Blake/Michael Ninn art-porn shit. c.Where's my remote? I'm going to need that fast-forward button. Things don't get any better as the storyline begins and we get inane ramblings from Kyle Stone as "the shrink", shots of a white dove being released to the air, and frames being turned upside down to disorient the audience as Stone talks into the camera. Length: 95 minutes Production Date(s): May 31, 2004 Release Date: November 9, 2004 Condoms: None Director: Ray Anderson The Abridged Version: The last time I reviewed an installment of this series, I found myself enjoying the action but observing that the MTV-style editing on display almost ruined the film. Well, to extrapolate that to the entire series, at volume 13 the mission has been accomplished. The quick editing surely meant to make the product look edgy has finally overshadowed the sex. There is one good scene here, two decent scenes ones, and two mundane ones. All five of them of them could have been better were it not for the overly busy editing. A vignette-oriented porn film that runs only 95 minutes long is not meant to have as many cuts as this one does, and if it does you better be damn talented and make it work. No such talent on display here.

Why not? The boxcover, front and back, features a pink bubble that reads Special Bonus Scene: Kinzie Kenner Swallows! There is even a picture of her getting it in doggy style on the back. As it turns out, that picture is the closest thing we get to actually seeing this special bonus scene because it is nowhere to be found on the actual DVD. Oh, sure. Jon Dough filmed it. He talked about it in his AVNInsider column on May 23, declaring, Kinzie Kenner does a bonus scene that should have been in the movie. She swallowed. And in the AdultDVDTalk forum Kinzie has been talking about wanting to see how the scene turned out for a while now, gushing that she had a hell of a good time filming it.

Where are the title cards? Where are the storylines? Where is that cute blonde girl who always seems to be wearing a sweater reading the letters in-between scenes? And where is the certainty that the sex will be tame and the overall film disappointing? Sensing perhaps that the long-running and award-winning series had most definitely run stale, Hustler appears to have divided it into two off-shoots now: Barely Legal Innocence and Barely Legal Corrupted. Van Styles directs the inaugural addition of the ladder with the same Jules Jordan-esque flair he displayed in his days with Video Team.

This was because when he came back to the biz in the late 90s all he ever seemed to do was work scenes for JM or Dane or Hustler or whoever else where he would be the older man preying on or being preyed upon by the younger girl. He is gone now though, so that line is no longer applicable. However, at least in those scenes the companies usually did a good job of playing out some sort of storyline. Whether or not a girl would really fantasize about Mr. Savage was debatable but at least the video presented a fantasy to begin with. Young Girls Fantasies 8 (2005)? Eh, not so much. Typical example: my sexual fantasy is to fuck this guy. Less than a minute later, I am fucking him.

What they dont say is that music videos killed the attention span. Due to them, we now have something known as MTV-style editing. This calls for lots and lots of cuts and different angles. The dreadful Armageddon is a perfect example. Well, thankfully this movement has not quite taken hold in the adult film industry as it has the regular film industry. However, slowly there is more and more product being made with this style of editing. And the more I see from them the more it seems that this is the direction that Hustler is heading. Young Latin Girls 7 is victim to this. Filmed and presented entirely in widescreen, it is somewhat unlikely that you wont notice the massive amounts of cuts in this tape.

His contention was that the series was probably renting and selling decent enough but its quality has been in such stark decline for so long that it has become irrelevant. This struck me as a somewhat surprising outlook. Then I decided to screen Barely Legal 42 due to its very favorable female cast and saw the same exact thing my online colleague did: a rather tired display of pornography. The series used to be a premiere outlet for quality vignette porn that continuously showcased up and coming girls, Bunny Luv being one such girl. Well, this 42nd installment showcases hot new girls like Emily Da Vinci, Brianna Blaze, Jennifer Luv, and Keiko. So, it has that going for it.

Unfortunately, I have been corrupted by the hardcore thus the perfectly sensual seems mundane to me. So, it seems obvious that I am not the right guy to go to for an opinion on Young Sluts, Inc. 16 but there is a variable here: Kimberly Kane. She occupies a special place on the center of the front cover as well as a re-occurring spot in my dreams. The girl is gorgeous. I could watch her watching paint dry and still be slightly turned on. Unfortunately, Kat falls prey to a ridiculous cliché of porn: the misleading box cover and underused main attraction. Kimberly is the star of this film with the thin story revolving around her and she does appear in two scenes.

Its gonzo for couples. Its playing it safe, which means that the girls are actually treated with the utmost respect, which is genuinely refreshing. A couple of years ago this type of action ruled the day. Dane Productions lasted for years on vignette-oriented lines. Viewing such action now seems more nostalgic than arousing. Outside of that, this is actually a well-done film that actually allows mostly gonzo performers like Corina Taylor, Delilah Stone, and Selena Silver the chance to stretch their acting skills. And those that actually need more mental stimulation than the interview em/fuck em style of gonzo will find these vignettes, all purportedly based on true stories, satisfying.
