The Abridged Version: Campus Confessions 9 is what I call soft porn. It’s gonzo for couples. It’s playing it safe, which means that the girls are actually treated with the utmost respect, which is genuinely refreshing. A couple of years ago this type of action ruled the day. Dane Productions lasted for years on vignette-oriented lines. Viewing such action now seems more nostalgic than arousing. Outside of that, this is actually a well-done film that actually allows mostly gonzo performers like Corina Taylor, Delilah Stone, and Selena Silver the chance to stretch their acting skills. And those that actually need more mental stimulation than the interview ‘em/fuck ‘em style of gonzo will find these vignettes, all purportedly based on true stories, satisfying. Each story is introduced by Lauren Phoenix, one real nasty girl elsewhere, who is sitting on a chair in front of a black background and losing some more of her clothing each scene by the way. There are some nasty taboo subjects addressed, such as partner switching between daughter and stepmother, and Brandi and Selena even give up their ass to up the nasty meter. And Delilah and Selena are actually damn hot in their scenes. However, I was just not very aroused by the film as a whole. This is the kind of product that upper scale video stores can safely stock in their adult section. That doesn’t mean that it is good or bad. For me, it just meant that it was unavoidably tame and slightly archaic. And, as a current college student, might I say that this tape, to my utter astonishment, is in no way based in reality. Where are the college girls supposedly represented in this tape at my college?
*It is vague from my writing, but I do want to stress that I appreciate how the women are treated in this tape. I may find gonzo more arousing but it’s nice to see a tape where the girls aren’t called sluts or whores or treated like mere fuckdolls.

Scene 1: Corina Taylor (cute, short brunette hair, very petite and slim) and Devon (older, attractive, light brown hair, big bad implants) w/Ben English and Steve Holmes (16 minutes)

Stepmom: Corina, speaking with a real deep Southern accent, recounts the story of how she found out that her step mom, Devon, was cheating on her dad. Corina and Devon both put it in adequate performances in this scene, but it odd watching them side by side considering how polar opposite they are in body type. Taylor is so dainty that Holmes has no problem picking her up for a really heated standing cowgirl. Devon is much more of a woman though and in fact seems to be far sluttier than her supposed stepdaughter. The two do clearly forget their roles and frequently reach over to lock lips with each other as well as frequently sucking the other guy’s dick out of each other’s pussy. Hell, in one instance they are positioned so that Corina can lap away at Devon’s pussy while Steven is still drilling her from behind. At the very end, the girls do switch back and get to briefly fuck the other guy. The Verdict: If all of the scenes could have been like the last two then this would have been an exceptional piece of porn. Though I slightly condemned the modern vignette style earlier, I admit that it can still be hot. Delilah, in a scene that only features two positions of fucking, is off the chart hot. And Selena consistently recalls the efforts of a young Stephanie Swift, looking every bit the part of a girl who will be in this business for a long, long time. However, the girl/girl was crap, the Brandi Lyons one by the numbers, and the foursome somewhat boring. It all amounts to a product that is perhaps just barely average. I would love to see Delilah do anal as well as seeing Selena paired with a better male co-star. Heck, if these two were to make encore appearances in Campus Confessions 10 I would check it out. I just would not expect much from the rest of the tape.

Rent it or Buy It: If you are going to see this film, then make sure you only rent it. It is most definitely a rental-only kind of feature.

The DVD: The main menu is interesting enough, with the actual menu to the right as still photos of the girls flash on the left all set to the background of a virtual tour of a well done computer animated college classroom. The chapters are identified by their vignette name and further chopped so that one can pick to go straight to the intro, bj, sex, or cum.
