Review brief: Private Stories 12 is part of Private's compilation series. They try to take scenes from some of their movies and make them into short stories. Private has switched over to nice half-width jewel cases that take only half the width of standard jewel cases; every company should do this so we don't have to put DVDs in something else to save space. Katalina (scene 1) Slightly chubby short haired blond w/ small tattoo above left buttcheek has picnic in the outdoors w/ a guy. Of course, one thing leads to another and they started having sex. Two guys notice them doing this and come over to help. She gets DP'd and they come on her face. Beata (scene 2) Cover girl (brunette w/ really nice body, but only so-so face) on the DVD starts showering. Calls for room service because she has no towels and gets it from the bellboy.

Review brief: This is the first Pierre Woodman movie I've seen since he moved from Private to Hustler. There's a good recap of Manipulation 1 at the start (more comprehensive than usual recaps). It's the usual blackmailing story line except the blackmailer is working w/ a buddy of the blackmailee. All the girls do vaginal and anal as is typical of Woodman. Demonia (scene 1) The blackmailer (Demonia) and the blackmailee do it in a hotel room. Demonia is a cute brunette w/ some pubic hair (unusual these days). And she moans well. Pavlina (scene 2) One of the cutest girls in the movie (Pavlina) plays a maid and the blackmailee has his way with her. Pavlina has dark black hair and milky white skin and some pubic hair. She should learn to use sunblock on her feet though; her toes were sunburned and it showed on film. Djiana (scene 3) A blond secretary of the blackmailee's buddy is "interviewed" by two cops. This is the only DP scene, but the secretary stays in her skirt and tank top for it (which is nice to see instead of the magic disappearing clothing you see in other movies).

Review brief: Ever wonder what an X-rated version of the TV series Sliders would be like? Too bad they didn't include Kari Wuhrer in this version of it from Private :-) In this version of jumping through alternate realities, the casts main goal is not to try to get home, but to try to have as much sex as possible in each dimension...such a worthy goal. Scene 1 (Orgy before next jump) The movie opens up with the 4 main characters (two guys, two girls) in the middle of an orgy. A few of the girls in the scene are better looking than the others, so it's disappointing that they didn't go with the rest of the sliders. Scene 2 (Doing it in the van) The Slider group happens upon a couple doing it in a van in the woods. The couple really go at it with enjoyment (including anals). When the group hears sirens, they hide and watch as the police arrest the couple but don't understand why. Scene 3 (The Rebellion leader has fun) The guys are caught by members of the Rebellion. They are brought to meet the Rebellion leader who explains that sex is banned there.

Review brief: I remembered why I hated Vivid videos. Here's their formula: - make a nice looking sexy video cover w/ nice picture quality (which you'll never see on the DVD, even in the screenshots) - throw in lots of old video clips as "bonus" material (the video quality sucks on the preview/bonus clips as well) - recycle VHS tapes into DVDs (can't explain the video quality otherwise) Anyways, I used to be a big Racquel Darrian fan. She has an amazing body (I think she still does through all the graininess of the video) and a nice face. Picked this up through a trade to see if Vivid was any better than it used to be. Racquel walks into a club where another girl is flirting w/ the guys. She and this girl end up having sex in front of all the guys. The bar is dark and that screws up the video quality. Guy at bar picks both girls up and brings them to his love shack (actually, decked out basement with really dark lighting) where his friends are all having sex. Girls get turned on and have sex w/ the guys there.

Review brief: This is an old collection of Private's "best scenes", though I wonder who gets to pick them since some of the girls in a few scene aren't attractive and some of the scenes are VHS quality. The DVD is actually from both the tape videos of Absolute 1 and Absolute 2. Unfortunately, as Private seems to do with other "2 in 1" DVDs (like Tower 2&3), scenes are cut. Two out of 6 scenes pictured on the back don't show up on the DVD. Some of the other scenes are excellent though. Scene 1 (Dinner Play) Dinner w/ Draghixa, her rich lover, and the butler. The DVD contains two excellent scenes w/ Draghixa. Draghixa is a dirty blond w/ an awesome body. This is probably the sexiest scenes on the DVD and is a must see for Draghixa fans. She starts w/ sensual eating of fruits, the progresses to licking clean the butler's penis covered with what looks like veggie dip while her lover watches. Her lover joins in and they have sex while wine is poured on Draghixa. No DP, so this might be a good scene for couples.

Review brief: This video is a collection of scenes from various Private movies. It is narrated by two women who match the women in the scenes w/ the astrological symbols; these women go through various states of undress while narrating this and star in their own scene at the end. You can see a full list of the scenes and where they are from here. I won't waste space describing the scenes. What I will spend time describing is the video quality, production, and what the girls look like. The girls are all predictably amazing looking except for the old blond, Helen Duvall, and Julia Spains. What disappointed me the most about this video is that some of the scenes look like they were dubbed off a crappy VHS tape. This includes scene 2 and scene 6 and scene 7 and scene 8. On the amazing babe side, Regina (scene 10) has legs that go on forever. It's too bad the scene was screwed up by being obviously shortened. Lolita (scene 7), Laura (scene 8), Diane (scene 5) and Cecilia (scene 2) area also awesome.

Review brief: Stars: - Nikki Anderson (tarot reader); not same one that does Private videos - Chandler (lead character) - Jessica Drake (lead's friend) - Vivi Anne (high priestess in scene 1) - Kianna Bradley (the "star" in scene 3) - Envy (chariot girl in scene 2) Technical problems: - Using PowerDVD, playback gets stuck on chapter boundaries so you have to hit the next chapter button to continue. Very annoying to say the least. Video Quality: - Some parts like the intro and other outdoor scenes are grainy; almost like they used outdoor film, then shot at dusk. - They overdid some of the dark scenes; while they fit the mood, it's hard to see anything. Seems like they need to crank up the gamma correction on the film transfer. Basic story: Lead character and friend poke around house where a Tarot card reader disappears. She finds the original Tarot deck and experiences different scenes depending on which card she picks out. They get stuck inside the house trapped in these scenes that are run by the cards and the missing tarot reader.

Review brief: Caribbean Setting. Private Girls. Wild Sex (typical Private...bit too much Anal for me in this one) What more could you ask for? ok. More scenes :-) Plot is simple: Couple buys villa on tropical island. Villa is haunted by good looking ghosts who have sex everywhere. All the "lines" are in English (compared to the Woodman ones which are in French). Actresses: - Katie Bergmann (I think...ever notice that Private truly sucks at getting their actresses indexed properly on their DVD covers and their web site?); nice body but has tattoo on ankle - Erika Rokoscy (actually Erika Bella); brunette w/ nice body - Sidonie; blond w/ really fair skin who looks a lot better w/ shades on - Cathy Cash; brunette who really steals the show - Kitty Yung, a.k.a. Zana Suhn; asian..not that pretty but likes Anal First scene: Couple (Katie and guy) arrives. Has wild sex to initiate the place. They end up outside. Next scene: Katie starts seeing ghosts.
