Synopsis:
Spunk'd: The Movie, a spoof of the long running MTV series Punk'd, has Gashton Cootcher (Nick Manning) setting up various celebrities to get spunk'd.

Audio/Video:
Spunk'd: The Movie is presented with an English 5.1 Dolby Digital surround track and an English 2.0 Stereo track. Either track works fine for the viewer with the dialog clear and easy to hear. There are no foreign language tracks or subtitle options for the feature film.

Spunk'd: The Movie is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1. For the most part the video is crisp clear and absolutely beautiful. The only issues that I could see were some jitters in the picture during the fourth sex scene. They only occurred every now and then and may have been a result of putting together the scene, however they were noticeable. Other than that, I had no complains about the video quality presented here.

Special Features:
There are only a few special features presented on the disc. The highlight is a behind the scenes feature which showed some nice footage of the making of the film. There are both hard and soft trailers presented here for Spunk'd: The Movie. There is a cast list, which breaks the cast down by sex scene. There is also a photo gallery included which you flip through the pictures. I'd have loved to see more special features included. There could have been one on Nick Manning alone and one for Ron Jeremy and Evan Stone. I also would have loved to have seen a detailed making of the Hillary Scott scene showing how it went from conception to the finished scene.

Disc Design/Navigation:
The disc is designed with nice animated menus that are easy to navigate. There are 6 chapters available from the chapter menu. Each one is identified by a video clip, chapter range and scene name. There are 71 chapters within the feature film itself. There is a time code encoded on the disc for the feature film.

General Review:
Spunk'd: The Movie is a perfect example of what an adult feature film should be like. The sex works with the story and vice versa, so that neither seems out of place, nor do you feel like the film is taking a break for the sex scenes. Adult and comedy is also a hard combination as well even more so when you are trying to parody. The comedy has to come naturally and the laughs can't be forced. You also can't be laughing so hard that you have a limp dick as that would negate the reason for watching an adult film in the first place. When you add in parody you have made a seemingly impossible mix these days as you have to resemble and pay homage to that which you are parodying.

Punk'd has never been a property that I thought was ripe for parody. In many aspects it was a parody of itself. When I first heard that there was going to be a porno parody of it, I didn't have high hopes, especially when I saw character names like Lindsay Blowhan, Wilmer Balled-Yer-Mama, and Hairless Hilton. I figured it would be another half-assed cheap porno attempt to exploit the original property name to sell another rather generic product. However, the trailers that were available at the time made the film look very promising. Now, after having viewed the film, I can say that all my concerns were for naught. Writer and director Justin Kane has made a helluva film that is one of the best adult films that I have seen in years.

The credit for the film ending up so enjoyable doesn't solely fall to Justin Kane though. Without the talented cast involved in the film, it never would have ended up so good. I was a bit put off when I saw that Ron Jeremy was in the film, with a sex scene. Don't get me wrong, I think that Ron is a great adult film actor. I've enjoyed performances of his as far back as the golden age of porn. However, as he has gotten heavier, I've preferred to see him not partake in the sex scenes. After seeing his scene and his interactions with Evan Stone, I can't picture any other actor taking his place in this film. The pair of Evan and Ron was truly outstanding. Nick Manning was outstanding as Gashton Cootcher as well. He completely became the role.

The rest of the supporting cast was great as well. Penny Flame was an amazing Lindsay Blowhan, Katie Morgan was superb as Katherine Hymen, and Herschel Savage made me laugh my ass off with his impersonation of George W. Bush. I could go on and on with the qualities of the cast and their acting in the film. I honestly can't remember a single bad performance in the film. Great writing and performances alone don't make a great adult film though. There is still the sex, and this film delivers here as well.

To begin with, Justin has the cast disrobe on camera for the sex scenes, a detail that I loved. In far too many adult films these days the cast goes from dressed to naked, or you partially get to see them undress and then, poof, all their cloths are missing. That isn't the case here and I feel that adds to the film. Undressing can add an erotic level to the sex scenes and I'm glad that was utilized here. The scenes themselves are great. Penny Flame starts the film out with one of the nicest, most enjoyable looking, blow jobs that I have seen in an adult film in ages.

And the idea, and presentation, of having a scene with two Hillary Scott's is genius. You can't go wrong with a concept like that. Katie Morgan and Kaiya Lynn were great tag teaming Steven St. Croix. I also loved the faked 1 Night in Hairless video that was presented during Aurora Snow's scene. As with the other aspects of the film I can't think of a scene that I didn't enjoy. I wish that the blow job only scene with Jada Fire, Herschel Savage and Dick Nasty had been longer, but I didn't dislike the scene that I was presented with. The sexual themes in the film are vaginal and anal sex with pussy eating, pussy fingering, blow jobs, titty fucking, lesbianism, hand jobs, female masturbation, and vaginal toy use. For viewers that care about condom use, there were no condoms used in the film.
