Ring Of Desire (Gourmet) Review

When a desperate girl on the street sells Kevin James a ring that she stole from her father, his (...sexual...) luck changes...and so does everyone else's who comes into possession of the bejeweled band. Such is the case in "Ring of Desire", a good, 1981 release from Peter Balakoff and Gourmet Video. Indeed, the ring finds itself passed around the various corners--and between the assorted characters--of Hollywood, from lawyers to actresses to writers to prostitutes and so on, and whoever owns it at the time finds him- or herself quite lucky (...as in "getting lucky"...). With a clever, though simple plot, good acting, a number of shorter sex scenes, and a strong cast, this little fuck-flick from yesteryear is actually a lot of fun and worthy of a watch...particularly for fans of the classics.

In terms of the sex, Scene One finds the leggy brunette secretary, Drea, going 69 with her boss, Kevin James, before he fucks her on his desk (pop on the ass). In Scene Two, Drea models for her erotic photographer boyfriend, Paul Thomas, before coaxing him out of his own clothes and seducing him (oral, vaginal ; cum-shot on the backside). Scene Three pairs up Paul Thomas and one of his models, the brunette Jennifer West, for a wine-inspired romp under the hot lights (oral, vaginal ; she sucks and jerks him to a facial). In Scene Four, Jennifer West apparently hasn't had enough, as she and her older, domineering roommate, Georgina Spelvin, quell an argument between one another by going down between one another's legs (fingers and tongues). Scene Five brings together the pervy Georgina Spelvin, an aspiring actress (Diane Martin), and her twin "brother" (onscreen ; Billy Joe Brown) at a Hollywood party (oral, girl-girl, vaginal--both ladies ; load on Spelvin's bush). In Scene Six, Bill Margold picks up a redheaded, Southern prostitute, Gena Lee, for a quick and kinky roll in the sack (pop on her backside). Scene Seven has Gena Lee's pimp and lover, John Hollyfield, taking her...all after she's put in a long night's work (oral ; jerk to completion). In Scene Eight, John Hollyfield picks up a young, blonde runaway (...new recruit...) with a suitcase, Hillary Summers, from the side of the road and winds up giving her more than a ride...or at least "that" kind of ride (oral ; jerk and suck to a pop). Scene Nine couples Hillary Summers--cute as can be--with one of her first johns, Ron Jeremy, in a sleazy hotel room (oral, vaginal ; load on the tummy). In Scene Ten, physical therapist and patron of whores, Ron Jeremy, gives Kevin James' wife, the fire-crotched Margaret Monroe, more than a massage in her private house-call (oral, vaginal ; titty-fuck to a facial and a pearl necklace). In Scene Eleven, Margaret Monroe gives Kevin James some shower head whilst water pours down from the showerhead (...see what I did there?...), ultimately stroking him to a load on her face. Good stuff all-around!
