Running Time: 85 min.

Production Date: 8 / 30 / 1999

Director: Jace Rocker

Cast: Stephanie Swift, Chloe, Inari Vachs, Lola, Taylor St. Claire, Tony Tedeschi, Michael J. Cox, Devin Wolf, and Anthony Crane in sexual roles, and Ve ronica Hart, George Kaplan, and many others in non-sex roles

Initial Expectations: With a cast and director like this, it’s almost impossible to not have high expectations.

Initial Reaction: It’s a lot of fun!

Who Should Watch It : Couples and anybody who likes to laugh when watching their porn

Who Should Avoid It: Raincoaters and anybody who likes nasty sex

Audio /Video Quality: As usual with Wicked, the audio and video are both great, despite the movie being a year and a half old. The audio is clear and very nicely balanced. The video has a little bit of grain, but that’s about it.

Music: The music is fairly typical, but nicely balanced with the rest of the audio.

Menus: The menus are fun and really fit the movie well. They show quite a bit of care for the movie and made me start to like it almost immediately. The chapter menu breaks things down by chapter titles rather than numbers or the star in the scene and offers a small clip of the scene.

The Feature: As with many other things in life, some of the best things happen just by being in the right place at the right time. That’s how it goes for Stephanie Swift in The Pushover. When a famous actress dies, the management decides to cover it up and instead turn bumbling maid Stephanie into a star to replace the deceased. Since she’s a bumbler and not that intelligent, they think they’re going to take complete advantage of her. Her roommate Chloe finds out, and they find out that Stephanie is no pushover.

Tony Tedeschi starts things out with his head buried between Inari Vachs’ legs, a location that most men would give at least one finger to be in. Afterwards, Tony rolls around so Inari can put her much admired oral skills to great work on him and then fucks her pussy. He doesn’t spend much time there before moving back to her ass, which really gets Inari into it. They finish things off with Tony popping his guy goo on her stomach. It’s a hot scene that starts the movie nicely.

Stephanie Swift and Chloe have a little celebration in their room for the next scene. Chloe starts out going down on Stephanie naturally. Stephanie returns the favor by fucking her with a dildo and then simulating a cum shot by spitting on her stomach. Although it has great chemistry and heat, the scene is still a little bit of a letdown because it’s very short.

Chloe returns for the next scene, this time with Michael J. Cox. Michael starts undressing Chloe, but she forces him back so she can suck his cock. He skips eating her pussy, and goes straight to fucking her pussy in a few positions. They finish it up with a nice facial. It’s another fairly short scene that’s not too bad because of the great chemistry and decent heat.

Stephanie Swift returns for the next scene, this time with the amazing Taylor St. Claire. Taylor starts out diving into Stephanie’s pussy with her tongue, and also gives it some light spanking. Stephanie returns the favor, tonguing Taylor’s tantalizing twat. There aren’t any toys this time around, which makes it nicely different from the earlier lesbian scene. It still has very good chemistry and some nice heat. The scene feels a little short, but after the last few, I’ve gotten used to it.

Stephanie returns again, this time to bang Devin Wolf, who goes down on her pussy with his tongue and fingers almost right away. Stephanie follows it up with some of her great cocksucking, which she puts quite a bit of energy into. As usual, the fucking comes next, which both Stephanie and Devin also put a lot of energy into before Stephanie takes Devin’s pop on her face. The energy turns this into a real winner of a scene. There’s great energy, chemistry, and heat, and both of the stars look like this is just where they want to be.

Lola calms Anthony Crane, who’s apparently been hanging around many of the women in the adult industry as he has his hair bleached blonde here but nothing else. Lola starts out kissing Anthony all across his chest before bending over to suck his cock. The camera catches Lola’s eyes extremely well, both through the blowjob and as Anthony eats her pussy. They fuck on the table in the conference room, and Lola looks extremely intense right up to Anthony unloading his love cannon into her mouth. It’s a fun scene that has some very good intensity thanks to Lola.

As usual with Jace Rocker’s movies, The Pushover is a riot as well as sexy. Although the sex isn’t quite as good as in some of Wicked’s other movies, it’s still better than the sex in most other movies. Most everything for great sex is there, it’s just that many of the scenes feel very short. If a few of the scenes ran a few minutes longer they would have been much better. The cast also does a great job with the plot sequences and turns what could be an average porno with a plot that’s just kind of there into a fun movie with fun sex. If you’re a fan of anybody in the feature, or are just looking for a fun porno with some good physical comedy, check out The Pushover.

Extras: Many of Wicked’s usual extras are here. There’s the AVN and Wicked DVD award winners and nominations, promotional material, company profile, casino, the Wicked Web, and a commercial for the Free Speech Coalition. Trailers are included for Hell on Heels , Dream Quest , Sex Safari, Knockout, Working Girl, Pornogothic, The Bride of Double Feature, and The Kissing Game. Double Feature!, Flashpoint, Satyr, and Vengeance. Bios are included for Stephanie Swift, Chloe, Inari Vachs, Lola, Taylor St. Claire, Tony Tedeschi, Anthony Crane, and Devin Wolf. It’s Wicked’s standard audio bio, which includes some good personal information, a few stills, a list of some of the star’s other Wicked movies, and a link to the star’s scene. Two photo galleries are included, both of which are automated, lasting about two minutes with five seconds per photo, and both of which look great.

Stephanie Swift gives about a one minute interview. She tells her secret to the movie being hilarious, shows off her new favorite outfit, tells about the movie, and shows off what’s in her car. It’s a nice little interview that’s kind of fun, although quite a bit of it is also included in the behind the scenes featurette.

All Access: The Making of Pushover lasts about fourteen minutes and features Red Ezra, who’s now directing much larger great things for Wicked, behind the camera. Red catches most of the stars, as well as director Jace Rocker, first thing in the morning starting with Inari having a little coffee with her sugar. As usual with Wicked’s behind the scenes, all of the stars are nicely identified as they first come onto the screen which is a really great touch. The featurette does a great job of showing many of the takes, such as Stephanie falling down the steps, as well as some behind the scenes antics, and other views of the sex scenes. It’s a very good featurette, with much of the credit going to Sniper’s editing and Red Ezra’s interaction with the cast and crew.

Finally, Stephanie Swift and Jace Rocker give an audio commentary for the feature. It’s an excellent commentary and has very little dead air. Jace and Stephanie lead each other on very well and make it very interesting. They talk a little about the movie itself, but often talk about the stars and whatever the movie brings into their mind. As one would expect from Jace Rocker, he frequently cracks jokes about the subject at hand. His jokes are sometimes a little dangerous, and almost gave my computer Code Red, which I happened to be drinking at the time. Of course, it’s not all fun and games, and Jace and Stephanie talk about some of the serious things in the business and things they want people to know. It’s a great commentary that’s very enjoyable and easily listened to.

Themes: Straight, spanking, anal, lesbian, and toys

Raincoat Factor: Medium

Overall: Currently, The Pushover can be found online for between $22 and $30 with most stores offering it near the top end. Although the sex isn’t among the best from Wicked, it’s still better than most movies. The rest of the movie is a lot of fun and every bit as enjoyable as the sex scenes. The DVD is helped out even more by a great transfer and excellent extras.

Note to Wicked: As usual, this is a great DVD that’s head and shoulders above most other DVDs out there.
