Neu Wave Hookers Review

So, this is one of the bigger releases to start off the new year. Are we starting off on the right foot?

The Movie: Neu Wave Hookers has to be one of the most enjoyable adult films I have ever seen. There are a few parts that don't work, but in the end, I had a blast watching it.

For starters... the plot. Well, there really isn't one. Some hookers find a copy of New Wave Hookers, and become obsessed with it... kind of. Mostly the movie follows two of the girls, Joanna Angel and Riley Mason, and their exploits with three male strippers (Kurt Lockwood, Tommy Pistol, and James Deen). The plot isn't what makes this movie good though.

What makes this movie good are three things, the directing, the sex, and the music. The directing is top notch. At no point could I take my eyes off the screen. Eon McKai has a visual style that just draws you in. So, even when I wasn't turned on, I was tuned in. Then there is the sex. With the exception of the three "old man's hands" scenes (more on this later), I was blown away by how great the sex was. It's all hot, all nasty, but all fun. There is nothing mean or cruel, and all the performers, while not being the usual porn type, where very attractive. This includes the men.

Also, the sex takes a few risks, including stuff, mainly where it comes to Kurt Lockwood's ass. So, guys, if you have an issue with seeing a guy get his ass licked or fingered skip the scene between Kurt, Riley and Nyomi Zen. It's super hot, yes, but if that turns you off, then the scene really will. Otherwise the sex is pretty normal, noting that no condoms were used. There are seven sex scenes total, with most of them being guy/girl, and the last two scenes being guy/girl/girl and it finishes with an all girl orgy.

The one downside to the sex is the inclusion of the Old Man's Hands character. There are three scenes in the movie where one girl (first Riley, then Joanna, and then Tiger) are alone with this man. There is a voice over done by the girls while we watch as this man fondles and molestes the girls. There is no sex, and the scenes are far from sexy. Still, the scenes hurt the otherwise light atmosphere of the rest of the film.

The final thing that makes this movie work is the music. You don't get the normal porno soundtrack here, but instead music from actual bands. I was able to find some of my favorite songs from the movie on iTunes even. There are even moments where there are mini-music video breaks in the movie. The first is before Seirra Sinn's DP (to the song "Dig It" by Dirty Sanchez) and the second is the song "Orgazmatron" which has the entire female cast and Tommy Pistol lipsynching the song. Great stuff. I kind of wish that VCA had included a soundtrack with the set.

And you get a lot of bang for your buck. The movie is just under two and a half hours long, and pretty much all of that is sex. And it's good sex.

Tech Stuff: The picture is great, and the sound is strong. Top notch presentation.

Extras: You get two behind the scenes videos, an out take reel (two scenes, both of which cracked me up), and the normal previews and gallery stuff (one for the girls and one for the sex). This is all on disc two of the set. On disc three you get the original New Wave Hookers. I have to say, for the money, you get a lot of stuff. I'm also going to point out the packaging. THe movie comes in a three disc digi-pack, and the cover art and the actual set itself are great looking. Not trashy, not goofy, just great.

OverAll: Let's see... good sex, hot cast (both male and female), comedy, great music, hot sex, great direction, lots of extras, and did I mention hot sex? Pick it up, and don't ask questions. And just remember, I'm not a slut, I'm a Neu Wave Hooker.
