Mob Job is a terrible adult film from director Jack Molinas, using the pseudonym Michele Poiccard, who would eventually make some adult films that were worth watching. Mob Job starts out with an auspicious opening, where two mobsters ice a man in the desert. Unfortunately, after the opening, the film quickly goes downhill.

The plot of the film is that a land deal has gone south and, as a result, Jack, a musician, find himself in debt $17,000 to Adam, a mobster. Adam sends his men to watch over Jack to ensure he gets his money.

The plot in Mob Job quickly falls away as the film gets going and takes the film nowhere fast. The sex scenes in the movie are haplessly stuck in the movie. Sometimes being shown because Adam is watching an adult film reel or because Adam is directing an adult film scene. Due to poor editing, sometimes the jammed in sex scenes can become confusing as well, like the opening where dialog over the sex scene belongs to people who haven't been shown yet.

The film looks like it was cheaply shot and rushed out overall with little actual care about quality, outside of the opening scene, which had it not featured the same actors as later this reviewer would have thought was ripped from another production. The editing isn't much better, often appearing haphazard and making the film feel more confusing than it should.

Mob Job isn't by any means a good film nor is it a film that is worth watching. There isn't enough plot to entertain the feature fans, and the sex scenes aren't fantastic either. Mob Job is an easy pass.

The edition of Mob Job screened is the streaming-only edition available on Exploitation.TV. Vinegar Syndrome has done a poor job with their streaming-only version of Mob Job. Mob Job was shot on film, and it looks like Vinegar Syndrome has used a film print for this release. Mob Job is presented in the Academy aspect ratio of 1.33:1 pillarboxed to the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1. The image quality for Mob Job is decent with artifacts and print damage. The colors generally are decent, there are a few points where the colors shift but not many.

The audio for Mob Job is an English monaural track. The audio quality of Mob Job is poor. The audio sounds muddled throughout the film with frequent dirt and distortion. There are pops and crackles during the presentation as well. The dialog in the movie is often hard to discern.

Vinegar Syndrome hasn't included any extras for their streaming-only edition of Mob Job.

Despite a few moments of competency, Mob Job, an early feature adult film by Jack Molinas, is mostly a poorly edited confusing mess that isn't worth watching. The plot in the film plummets downhill quickly, and the sex scenes are jammed in where ever they could be, whether or not they fit with where they are stuck into the film or not. Mob Job isn't recommended. Vinegar Syndrome has done a poor job with their streaming-only release of Mob Job on Exploitation.TV with decent video quality but poor audio quality.
