Girl Power (Adam & Eve) Review

I don’t quite know what to make of Adam & Eve’s “Girl Power,” but I know I don’t much care for it. All the boxcover tells us is that it’s about four hours long, so we can deduce that it’s a compilation. But what a compilation! This thing starts out with a series of blowjobs excised from various unidentified films, shifts into a compilation-within-a-compilation—a film called “Girls Who Like to Ride”—and ends with three random girl/girl scenes. All that’s missing is the kitchen sink.

Four bloody hours—and it never gets better than the first six-minute blowjob. Okay, maybe that’s because after the 18th blowjob nothing short of Gwen Summers coming through the TV screen like that chick in “The Ring” to screw each of us personally could save this movie. You have to remember, these aren’t blowjob scenes, they’re the blowjob portion of other scenes (with the cumshots tacked on), so they average about two or three minutes in length and leave you wanting more, and I don’t mean more of the same.

So benumbed was I at this point that I can’t tell you much about “Girls Who Like to Ride,” except that it’s a little better than the blowjobs and you can get it as a separate title from Adam & Eve, so why bother with “Girl Power”? Supposedly, it’s about girls who like to be on top, and I think I remember seeing a few reverse cowgirl positions; on the other hand, I might just be remembering any of the thousand other boy/girl scenes I’ve seen. A hetero movie about dominant women might be a new idea, but I can tell you—this ain’t that movie.

This is what I took away from “Girls Who Like to Ride”: (1) Chloe and Sylvia Saint both get turned upside down for standing 69 sequences, but (2) Sylvia gets stuck in an “elegant” scene so full of slow-motion that it’s achingly dull; (3) Ashton Moore jerks her head back to avoid a facial, although (4) cute Gwen Summers takes it full on and doesn’t spit. The rest of the film’s a pornographic blur.

Now I admit I’m not the guy porn companies have in mind when they put compilations together, especially not of the 4-hour variety. I tend to like shorter films with some kind of connection between one scene and the next. And I didn’t do my research on this one; just looking at the front boxcover and reading the title I thought it might be a lez compilation, and those I can occasionally go for. Well, I got my girl/girl action—with three scenes at the butt end of this disc—and you know what? By then, I really didn’t care.

So little thought went into this production that the only “extras” are a chapter menu and a few trailers. Well, at least one of the trailers looked interesting. Trouble is, I’ve forgotten what it was.
