Initial Expectations: Adam & Eve has been very hit or miss iwth their compilations. I’m hoping for a hit, not enough that I’d bet money on it.

Initial Reaction: Adam & Eve just might find out how girl power is in a bitch-slap when a few women catch up with them after seeing this compilation!

Who Should Watch It : Drunks and people who want to see how to not make a compilation

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who pays for porn

Audio /Video Quality: It’s rare to find a compilation feature which has technical aspects, and this is no different. The audio normally hovers around average, as does the video. Some are better, some are worse, but odds are you’ll be using your remote more than you ever have before, unless you shut it off.

Music: Just like with the technical aspects, one doesn’t expect the music to be consistent throughout the feature. Here it ranges from being almost nonexistent to being the only audio.

Disc Problems / Complaints: Nineteen of the thirty two scenes here are highly edited.

Menus: The menus are very standard. The main menu has a little animation, and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of the scene and a scene number.

The Feature: I’m not sure whether to give Adam & Eve praise or a slap up side the head after trying to watch Girl Power. From the title, this sounds like it’s going to be a compilation with some dominant or wild women, which normally makes for fun scenes. Instead, it looks like Adam & Eve teamed up with the local hillbilly zoo to see what kind of compilation a group of inbred monkeys could put out. I have to admit, the monkeys did choose some decent scenes, such as Chloe and Alexandra Silk in No Regrets, Brittany Andrews, Angela Austin, and Mark Davis in The Garden Party, Evan Stone and Sydnee Steele in Fire & Ice, Tina Tyler and Alicia Rio from Dreamers 1 & Dreamers 2, and a few other hot scenes. Unfortunately, many people won’t make it that far.

The first nineteen scenes (there’s thirty two total) make up what is referred to as BJTV, which I guess is supposed to be BlowJob TV and last a bit over an hour. I’m guessing that BJTV was to be its own compilation feature, but whenever it was put together somebody had the decency to kill it before it got so much as a gasp of air. In order to create BJTV somebody who apparently wasn’t qualified enough at anything to become a low level government employee hacked the blowjob and pop shot sequences out of a bunch of scenes. Are they decent blowjobs? I guess so, but when you put two parts together with the skill of a five year old with a welding torch, one can’t expect too much.

Then there’s the rest of the “feature”. How do you know when the rest of the feature starts? Well, you get credits, just like most movies have at the beginning. At this point, I started thinking that Girl Power was hacked apart by cosmetology school dropouts and put together with less than even used chewing gum and bailing twine. On the plus side, the credits show the performers from their scenes, so you who’s who. At this point, you get full sex scenes, such as the ones I mentioned earlier. Things start to look better here, and then you get to see T. T. Boy and Tyler Sweet in their scene that I think came from KSEX. For those who used the scan button on their remote rather than the skip button, this scene looks really familiar from the start since it was also included in the BJTV section of this disaster.

With all the consistency of a politician’s promises versus actions, things change again a little over three hours in. The last three scenes actually have screens to introduce each scene and list who’s in each one. Once again they’re full scenes, and things are improving nicely, but by this time it’s like dropping a dozen rubber duckies to help the passengers on the Titanic stay afloat.

Needless to say, the best thing about Girl Power is that it’ll save your tables from those pesky rings that appear if you leave your beer on the table for too long. I’ve seen more consistency in regurgitated Chinese food than in this bomb. There are a few good scenes here, but with how bad it starts and how hacked together the entire thing feels, I wasn’t even able to enjoy them. It’s really sad since Adam & Eve has put out some great compilations in the past, most notably their Ass Angels and Signature Series lines, which show just how good a compilation can be. Sadly, Girl Power shows just how bad a compilation can be.

Themes: Hacked up porn, straight, oral, anal, group, rimming, lesbian, toys and spanking

Raincoat Factor: Your hand will probably be too busy working your remote to think of using it for anything else, so very low.

Overall: Most of Adam & Eve’s compilations can be found for $10 to $15 after a couple months. If somebody pays you this much to watch it, agree as long as they supply the beer and tranquilizers.

Note to Adam & Eve: Whoever put this one together needs to do a little more research. You might suggest they do their research inside a locked refrigerator, car crusher, or a gas over that has a problem igniting.
