Devil In Miss Jones (VCX 40th Anniversary Edition) Review

The Devil In Miss Jones is the 40th Anniversary Edition from VCX. This is a 2 disc set, presented in widescreen format. The transfer looks pretty good, considering the age of the film.

Disc 1 contains the XXX feature, with audio options for Spanish or English, and includes a director’s commentary track from Gerard Damiano. The movie is split into 5 scenes, and chapter stops go to the beginning of each.

Disc 2 contains the softcore version of the feature, as well as special features, which include the original trailer, an interview with Georgina Spelvin, a photo gallery, and vintage trailers for Odyssey, Defiance, Bachanale, and Reflections.

This movie is worth a look if you haven’t seen it before, or want to add a classic porn movie to your collection. Georgina Spelvin was 36 when she made this.

The plot revolves around Justine Jones. She’s lonely and depressed, and decides to kill herself. She slits her wrists in the bathtub, and when she dies finds herself in limbo between Heaven and Hell. She meets Mr. Abaca, who won’t let her into Heaven because she killed herself. Since she only has a choice between limbo or Hell, she begs to be allowed to return to Earth and earn her place in Hell.
