Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and although I didn't notice any background noises there are a few piped in background noises that were a little distracting. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks very nice. It's clear and nicely lit with a solid hand on the camera.

Watermark Warning: Austin Powers XXX has the usual Vivid watermark in the lower right corner. It's small, fairly tasteful (if a watermark can be such a thing), and stays stationary making it easy to put out of mind. Although I can't say that I like to see watermarks, if a company feels that's what they have to do in order to protect their product I hope they can keep them as tasteful as Vivid does here.

The Movie: When his nemesis Dr. Evil (Tommy Pistol) flies into space to freeze himself in 1967, Austin Powers (also Tommy Pistol) volunteers to have himself cryogenically frozen as well. When Dr. Evil returns decades later, Austin Powers is thawed out to stop his nemesis once again with the help of the daughter (Natasha Nice) of his former partner (Raylene). Yes, this time it's Austin Powers done porno style!

After Tommy snaps a few picks of Allie wearing a late sixties style outfit with white legwarmers and clear porno pumps back in 1967 London he gets her to suck his cock. Austin Powers XXX is a very fun porn parody. To start with, the casting is great. I can't think of anyone better to take over the roles originally played by Mike Meyers than Tommy Pistol, and he continues to show that he's one of the best actors in the jizz biz. He had me laughing out loud a few times through the movie, and his showdown between Austin Powers and Dr. Evil was a treat to watch. To make things even better, Natasha Nice is every bit as solid taking over for Elizabeth Hurley and continues to show her great girl next door charm as well as having a smile that somehow is even better than her killer body. The supporting cast is also well chosen, and the action is nicely captured with some solid chemistry in each of the scenes. That isn't to say that Austin Powers XXX is without faults, as it did have a few that stuck out to me. To start with, the story is greatly scaled down. There's none of the fun father – son dynamic between Dr. Evil and Scott, which could have nicely worked into a “bonding” scene as they teamed up on Nina Hartley's Frau Farbissina character. The editing is also weak, especially during the sex, which I've come to expect from B. Skow's movies as it's almost always held them back for me. It's fairly choppy once again, although thankfully it's not as bad as in some of his other movies. Finally, although there's some good production values here, Tommy Pistol's bald cap as Dr. Evil looks horribly cheap. You can easily see the lines for it pretty much all around his head, and as great as Tommy was in the role, it was a definite distraction every time he took the screen. Austin Powers XXX is a fun porn parody, that although not great, is still a heck of a lot of fun and is well worth checking out.

The Extras: Trailers are included for four other Vivid releases. The photo gallery lasts about five minutes. There's also a behind the scenes featurette, a bonus scene, cumshot recaps, and commercials.

The blooper reel and outtakes last about eleven and a half minutes. This is a pretty straightforward blooper reel, and as one would expect with a cast like this, it's also a lot of fun. You get plenty of flubbed lines and crackups, but not much ad-libbing gone wrong as one might expect with Tommy Pistol as Austin Powers and Dr. Evil. This is a nice addition to the overall release.

The bonus scene comes from All About Allie. Cute brunette Allie starts out on her knees sucking and stroking her way among the four guys. She lets the guys fuck her face a bit and after a little time on her knees moves to the top of a table and lays back for them to fuck her face.
