Scene 1-Welcome to San Fran We meet Sky as she arrives to San Francisco where she does such cute things as eat a banana in the airport and play with the bell cart in the hotel. Enter Lindsay and her BF, who shall remain nameless and faceless. (Just a sidenote, but this struck me as a weird little thing, as Lindsay enter's Sky's hotel room she introduces herself which made me wonder where she came from?) Decadence is a silent film with a semi- creepy soundtrack mixed with water drops, sighs and moans. Story wise it's gorgeous Chelsea Blue masturbating while having dream like flashbacks of sexual encounters with other women and a single m/f couple. On the plus side all the women look beautiful. The photography and production is stylish. On the negative side I am a Dalia Grey fan and this is the first time she doesn't appear in an Andrew Blake production since she started working with him. Decadence is a silent film with a semi- creepy soundtrack mixed with water drops, sighs and moans. Story wise it's gorgeous Chelsea Blue masturbating while having dream like flashbacks of sexual encounters with other women and a single m/f couple. On the plus side all the women look beautiful. The photography and production is stylish. On the negative side I am a Dalia Grey fan and this is the first time she doesn't appear in an Andrew Blake production since she started working with him. The editing is a little too jumpy for my taste. I wish Blake would let the scenes of Chelsea Blue play out longer before cutting in and out of her. Hyde always manages to bring her unique style to the screen by utilizing so many techniques masterfully. In about 99 of porn, when directors decide they are going to play around with visual effects or mess with the sound they fail. Hyde uses these directors tools with a deft touch in my opinion, allowing the editing and color shifts to enhance the mood she has already created through with great sets, themes and costumes. If you are already familiar with Hyde's films then you should already have a good idea of what to expect. She explores some very kinky sexual themes throughout the course of this film.
