Flash's
review from 11/3/2019:
Flesh Gordon is a softcore parody of Flash Gordon, which combines the right level of camp, cheesy special effects, and ambition behind it to be a fun film, even though the originally conceived hardcore version was never to be. Fans of hardcore films from the 70s should find a lot of fun here, while also trying to find the blue screen actors and actresses from the era in the film hiding in the remaining close to hardcore footage. Hen's Tooth Video has done a decent job with their Blu-ray release of Flesh Gordon. The picture exhibits some heavy grain, and the colors appear to be overly muted in places however, this is likely the best the film will ever look for the home video market. [read the full review]

Flash's
review from 5/10/2016:
Refinements in Love is a hard film to recommend or to suggest passing on. It is one of the early adult films that is made to appear like a documentary, despite all of the documentary footage being fake. It is one of the more coherent efforts from Carlos Tobalina, but it still suffers from his haphazard nature of putting together his films. While there are some amusing moments and some nice sex scenes, the film also runs too long for what it is trying to do. Impulse Pictures has done a good job with this release with a nice looking, albeit cropped picture, but it does have some issues with the color. [read the full review]

review from 2/23/2017:
The only thing less sexy than an abortion is a porno film about abortions, and whoever would think that it was a good idea to make one is kind of a moron. So, it comes as something of a surprise to find a release such as "Four Women in Trouble", a true abomination of an adult film from 1972 and VCX. [read the full review]

The DVD release from Hen's Tooth Video is better than previous home video releases but falls short of being a definitive release of the film. [read the full review]
