Apocalypse of Vampires is the third movie, and final movie, in Ángel Mora's Vampira series. Quite frankly Apocalypse of Vampires is a movie that should never have been made. Yes, this reviewer knows that quite often that is the case with sequels and the like, however, apparently even Ángel Mora couldn't think of a reason that this movie actually should be made. He raided the vaults and used footage from the first two Vampira movies in this one along with some other assorted sex scenes that were shot for other projects. Most of the movie is spent rehashing the plot from Vampira and Vampira 2 - Abiertas hasta el amanecer. The scant amount of footage that was actually shot for this movie is poorly done and clearly inferior to the first two movies. There is absolutely no reason why anyone would want to see this movie. Whether or not Apocalypse of Vampires should have been made or not, Nexxxt Generation has done a nice job with their DVD release of the movie. The video quality is ni [read the full review]
