review from 1/13/2015:
Pretty Peaches is a dark comedy that is done within the adult medium. The story is interesting and the film was well made. The limited edition Blu-ray/DVD combo pack that Vinegar Syndrome has released is absolutely amazing and should be a must buy for any fans of the film. [read the full review]

review from 7/3/2016:
It's all about the horny high-jinks for a trio of volunteers (Cris Cassidy, Amber Hunt, and Nancy Hoffman) at the local hospital and nothing, not even a mean boss whom they've nicknamed "Sarge" (Sharon Thorpe), is going to stand in their way. Such is the case in "Candy Stripers", an exceptional, 1978 release from Bob Chinn and Arrow Productions. [read the full review]

review from 8/22/2004:
This 1978 golden age classic by Bob Chinn is a lot of good, dirty fun. The set is convincing, and many have thought it was shot in a hospital although it was really shot on a sound stage in San Francisco. The acting is reasonably good, although the plot isn't complicated: a bunch of hospital patients who are more horny than sick, and three candy stripers willing to serve any way they can, including sexually. Many have commented that the women in classic porn are not as good looking as today's crop. Although that is generally true, Amber Hunt, for example, could hold her own even in today's porn biz. Arrow has done an outstanding job restoring sound and picture, and one of the cutest things about this movie is the song that was composed and performed for it. The fact that golden age adult films frequently had a song written specifically for them is one of the things that separates them from the current industry. [read the full review]

review from 12/18/2003:
NOTE: This is not your typical review. Others have done an excellent job reviewing the content, scenes, performances, etc. of this porn classic. This "review" concerns itself with how the DVD's contents compare with the complete, uncut original release version of the film or an early (before prior self-censorship) VHS version. The Ratings given refer either to the "original" version of the film (Performers, Plot, Sex, etc.) or to the DVD version (Extras, Value, etc.) and are relatively arbitrary. The important info is that which follows. CANDY STRIPERS ALL THERE Bob Chinns 1978 classic, Candy Stripers has been brought to DVD by Arrow Films, who has done a great job of restoring the film as well as giving us ALL of it (sort of). For those who havent heard, there are two infamous scenes in the film (both involving fisting) that have long been cut out for fear of the dreaded porn police. Both scenes are present on the DVD, but not in their original positions in the complete film, which remains edited in this presentation. [read the full review]
