A weekend camping trip in Hawaii for a pair of couples, Ginger Lynn & Ron Jeremy and Stacey Donovan & Jamie Gillis, quickly devolves into the ultimate sexual fantasy when they discover that they've "stumbled upon" a private set of sex games that are taking place upon the island. Of course, this works out perfectly for the guys...and for Ginger...and the only real holdout ends up being the less secure, and more prudish, Stacey. Indeed, the question as to whether she'll eventually succumb and partake in the perverse proceedings remains unanswered until the final scene of the film. Surrender in Paradise is a fun adult film to come from the early 80s. It is light on plot but what is there works well with the nicely done sex scenes. This is definitely a film worth watching. Collector's Video's DVD release is lacking but isn't so bad that the film isn't watchable. [read the full review]

Pink Lagoon is a sequel to Surrender in Paradise. Do not worry if you did not see the original. While the sequel is a good continuation it stands on its own and starts off by giving you enough info on the first to catch you up to speed. The story of the two films is fairly simple a group of models are shipwrecked on a deserted island or so they think. Soon they find out that Arthur (Jerry Butler) who escaped from prison after being wrongly convicted of murdering his wife is also on the island. At the end of Surrender in Paradise when a ship spotted them on the island the girls had to leave Arthur since if he returns he will be sent back to prison. Pink Lagoon starts off a few years later. The girls return with a film crew to scout the islands and give Arthur some good news. Tammy (Ginger Lynn) and two others who return to the island embrace with Arthur and then tell him that he is a free man. The murderer was found and Arthur was pardoned. A celebration ensues and he gives all 3 a good working over (he has been stranded alone for quite a while). [read the full review]

While titled as sequels to Damiano's 1973 masterpiece, DMJ 3 /4 is closer to a remake, or even more appropriately, a re-telling of Damiano's tale. In fact, besides the name of the heroine and the film itself, as well as the basic premise of a woman dying and ending up in Hell, this film has no similarities to either of the earlier two entries in the series. "Nightshift Nurses", the directorial debut of perhaps the best actor to ever work in adult, John Leslie, not only is a scorcher when it comes to the sex, but also makes great use of comedy, blues music, and filmmaking styles that Leslie would later use in the "Chameleon" and "Catwoman" movies. The film takes place during one night in a hospital. Lois Ayres plays the senior nurse who heads the other nurses, played by Bionca, Keisha, Sheena Horne, and Lynn Francis. John Leslie plays Dr. Grow, an insomniac who hates his job and would really like to be a professional harmonica player. Joey Silvera is an everyman who goes by the name of Idaho Moe and in his spare time pretends that he's a doctor. Peter North, Josey Duval, and D.J. Cone play various patients and Siobhan Hunter is a "sister" who is waiting for her brother to come out of surgery. One more character worth mentioning would be the black janitor, played by Steve Hennessy. While mopping a hallway, he overhears moans and goes into the room to investigate. [read the full review]
